We were on vacation and enjoying a long Thanksgiving weekend and ate twice at Foodcraft. Food is excellent to amazing. The steaks above and beyond my expectations. This is definitely a large upscale upgrade from your standard Hilton restaurant. The only complaint was the menu was a little limited. I would have expected a little more options. Regardless I’m telling you it was excellent food, excellent service and a great location. We will be back.

The food was not very warm, and some was cold. The desert items were almost gone, some of the pies were in need of being refilled.

A great restaurant on the Gulf of Mexico at the Hilton in Gulf Shore State Park. We had our family Thanksgiving there. What a wonderful feast of everything Thanksgiving. The turkey was the best I ever had. Shrimp and grits were amazing. The buffet was laid out splendidly and there was never a long wait for the food since everyone had timed reservations. Even had salads in one location, main dishes in another, turkey carved at a carving station. A separate dessert station rounded out the meal. A great thanksgiving!

Great food and service! Gorgeous view! The only hitch may be the hotel parking. You have a choice of a very long walk or valet parking. But valet parking is free when the restaurant validates a ticket.

It seems that the Portion Size, and Food Quality, have gone downhill.

We are at the beach for some R&R. Saw this restaurant online and decided to give it a try. Had a wonderful meal and Mario our server was fantastic. Will definitely eat here again.

Dined alone but was given every courtesy as a table of more. Staff was respectful as it was a sad occasion for me. . Food was excellent -crab fritters appetizer and red snapper with gnocchi pancetta peas and lemon carbonara sauce. My server Manita was excellent

Beautifully presented and delicious appetizers and dinner. We had the honey goat cheese, baked & raw oysters as appetizers. The grouper & snapper for dinner were superb! Our server Manita was fun and knowledgeable about the menu. On to the ambiance and the magnificent and stunning sunset. Perfection!

Gumbo was very good, but Luke warm. I enjoyed it and warned the server that someone not as nice would make a fuss. She told the kitchen. The rest of the meal was hot and good. Would be nice to offer shrimp with something other than grits.

Reservations easily made online early in the day. Upon arrival Saturday evening, we were seated immediately. Waitstaff was courteous and attentive, despite the crowds. Food was beautifully plated and served promptly. Dessert options were varied with a fresh take on each. Reasonable pricing.

Only negative was fellow diners letting their elementary school age children run amok around the tables indoors. Did not really anticipate that or "treasure chest" with noisy toy prizes being presented to the kids by waitstaff. Took the atmosphere from casual romantic dinner to fast food in 30 seconds flat.

Atmosphere is beautiful, especially at sunset. Food was delicious. We enjoyed Oysters Rockefeller, Red Snapper, Ribeye Steak and grilled shrimp. Our server was friendly and efficient. We will be back! Ps— kids liked it too. Coloring supplies… kid friendly dishes … win/win!

Food was not hot, filet had great flavor, but was room temperature and crabmeat on top was cold. Potatoes wedges served with the grouper were hard/under cooked. We asked for another side and was brought another order of hard, undercooked potatoes. Server was friendly, but not “on top” of service, kept empty water glasses, had to walk to the bar to get wine.
Staff was friendly and we were given free dessert for the poor food/service. We will probably try them again because of its beauty and potential, maybe they were understaffed like everyone else right now.
