Food Dance Ratings and Reviews
My partner and I had such an amazing date night here for Valentines Day! The food was amazing, the service was amazing, and the dessert was to die for!! Will recommend coming here to anyone looking for a nice date night out!! Plan on coming here again and again and again!
This place was pretty pricey for dinner and I wasn’t too impressed with the food. Now I have visited Food Dance for lunch on two other occasions and it was great. I took a chance on the pad Thai and it was a horrible order also I ordered a seasonal adult beverage. It was a caramelized drink of some kind, I had to send it back it was so horrible and the server even mentioned that it was a disgusting drink. For 10 of us (high priced) gratuity was already included but I wasn’t too upset by it as the service was really good. They gave us a private room with closed doors and we were able to be very social. My advice is if you visit food dance for dinner, go with traditional American meals.
We always have a great meal here. This time was a little less impressive since it seemed that they squeezed us into a 2-top table. We were sitting extremely close to our neighbor table of two who were pretty loud. The server was good. He has been there a while, he just seemed to have way too many tables to give the great service we are used to when we go here. Loved the food, as always. Drinks are delicious; handmade cocktails are a must try.
We all thought the prices were very high for the portions we received. My husbands burger was not cooked the way he ordered it (it was over cooked) and my crab cakes kind of had the consistency of tuna fish. Our waiter was not the friendliest either. We won’t be coming back anytime soon.
We visited Food Dance during restaurant week and enjoyed the Prix Fixe dinner. We each ordered different items so we could have tastes of several delicious foods. We enjoyed each course and were stuffed at the end. The waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. We have visited Food Dance many times over the years and always enjoy the food. The use of local ingredients and creative recipes makes it a great place for a special meal or a quick stop for a cup of soup and and half a sandwich.
The food was extremely well presented, tasted amazing and had the right portions. We had a vegan and pescitarian with our party and they had several food options. The wait staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and made us a great meat and cheese board. She was on top of drink as was her help. However, not so amazing at clearing dishes that were done (she was busy).
My wife and I have eaten here several times and we have never been disappointed. The locally sourced food is well prepared with creative recipes and excellent presentation. They do a uniquely excellent job of providing top quality table service in a casual and friendly atmosphere.
Been here several times. First time with a bigger group. Service was great. Food came at a good pace. Not too soon, not too slow. A little disappointed that they ran out of special but was happy with my second choice of their standard menu item - pork chop.
The atmosphere is very nice, its trendy but not over the top. Service was very good, very friendly. A unique menu with local ingredients. The portion are moderate, don't expect to get stuffed. For quality and preparation are excellent. All in all avert nice place but a bit pricey for the area.
Our server overheard we wanted a booth. The hostess told us we could not have it, our server made it happen which made our dining experience much more comfortable. The noise level on a Saturday night was very loud. If you were going in for a quiet dinner, this is not the place. The food was good and overall we had a very pleasant experience. The cheese fondue is the bomb! :D YUM!
Sunday was the first day of their new menu and brunch and Sunday dinner. Food Dance is always fun, but Sunday afternoon after a mimosa or two is very relaxing and fun. I would go more often if they had more gluten free options. So many restaurants have gluten free buns for burgers, toast for eggs, and/or gluten free pasta. Until then, We will spend most of our dining out meals elsewhere. Otherwise the food is always fun, good and healthy.
WE always come to this restaurant when we come to events at Western. It was different this time. We went there on Friday and were there close to 9 and hostess sat us near the bar and out in open. I asked if there was a booth available and she said no even though we noticed several open, but sat there anyway. We went the next night and hostess sat us at same exact table ( table for 3 and 1 seat removed for storage of walker w/c,but not ours)again asked about a booth and told not available. The waitress came to table and she did direct us to a booth (several open). The waitress and waiters are excellent, best service. The food is outstanding. I noticed very limited gluten free options this time. It would be nice to have a gluten free bun for a hamburger.
