   Place was totally dead on a Friday night. Only one other table occupied. Food and wine both lousy. Would never go back,

   This place was so bad, it was comical. We arrived at 6pm on a Friday night. Atmosphere looked cute and menu seemed good and reasonably priced so we decided to give it a go. We should have known there would be issues as we were the ONLY ONES in the place. We asked why no-one else was there. They said it was because it was early. OK. We stayed and ordered. We each ordered a salad to start and two tapas each. They brought my husband the wrong salad. They took it back to replace but then didn't bring his replacement salad until the end of the meal. We never saw our waiter again after he took our order. The cook literally brought the food from the kitchen to our table an seemed annoyed he couldn't fine the waiter either. We asked for ice as there was none in our water or my husband's soda. Finally got some about 1/2 way through the meal. Husband's chicken tacos had zero taste. My shrimp smelled so bad that I took one bite and couldn't eat another. Then my husband's tapas meatballs arrived. They must not have microwaved them long enough as they were lukewarm on the outside and frozen in the middle. Every dish was worse then the next. I had to get up and search for someone to bring me a 2nd beer (beer was good!) and literally search and beg to get our check. It was such an awful experience we thought there might be a hidden camera. Atmosphere was super cute and beer was good. All else was awful. Would not recommend. BTW, when we left at 7:30, there was still no one in the place.

   What a fantastic neighborhood find! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the camarones fontenova and the chorizo con vino. We had a lovely bottle of rioja to go along with our tapas. The portions were larger than expected, which was another bonus. All in all, a great experience, and we will be going back!
