Vibrant flavors and warm service are the cornerstones of Fond, a new American-style restaurant from Chef-owners Lee Styer and Jessie Prawlucki, a husband-and-wife team. Located along Philadelphia’s popular East Passyunk Avenue, Fond is at once a sophisticated and comfortable neighborhood spot, appropriate for a variety of occasions, from a casual night out, to drinks at the bar, or a celebratory dinner.

Fond’s interior features natural tones and elements, including a 12-seat live-edge wood bar, where guests may enjoy a selection of beers, well-crafted cocktails and a thoughtfully curated wine list. The 36-seat dining room with its bright display of greenery throughout and oversized windows overlooking the neighborhood’s ‘Singing Fountain’ enhance the restaurant’s comfortable, welcoming ambiance. During warmer months, ample sidewalk seating is available for guests to enjoy food and drink al fresco.

overrated, overpriced, horrible service, felt like a second class citizen to other tables near us, no room between tables without getting banged all night, dinner for 2 with tip $250

Everything about Fond was amazing except one thing. We didn't like that we were asked to sit at the bar to finish our drink because the next guest arrived and they needed our table.

Excellent service, great atmosphere staff very friendly. Food was better than we expected. The Chef was amazing, cane to our table twice with the best cooked steak I ever tasted in my life, please I ask everyone this is the place to be dining.

We've been coming to Fond on our anniversary and Valentines Day (or thereabout) for years. Absolutely love Fond. The food, wine and the brilliant service will keep us coming. We love this restaurant and would recommend Fond to everyone!

Valentines Day. Seated at 8:15 for 7:30 reservation. Seemed that other 7:30 reservations waited even longer. Only one seat at Bar. Bartender and most of staff seemed overwhelmed. Not offered a drink for about 20 minutes. Food was just ok. We have been fans of Fond for years. This was a disappointment. Don’t think we’ll be back.

My wife and I had the tasting menu. Every course was delicious - celery root cream, foie gras, seared scallop, ceviche, lambchops, filet. The quality of the food is very predictable.

We always enjoy Fond. My husband and I dine here a few times a yr. We are never disappointed. 2 must have staples. The Fois Gras and the chicken liver spread. We have to have it every time. Always an excellent meal and enjoyable service.

We frequent this restaurant for dinner and have never had a bad meal. The food is amazing and the people couldn't be nicer. They just started Sunday Brunch and wanted to give it a try and was happy we did. The pastries are amazing and the menu has plenty of options. Simple as bacon and eggs or sophisticated as crab benedict . You need to give it a try!

Always meets or exceeds expectations. In the 7 or 8 years since Fond opened
at 1617 Passyunk Avenue the restaurant, the chef and the staff have made it
our favorite Philadelphia dining establishment. The menu is always
current, very well executed and extremely tasty. Always look forward to
returning.

Met 4 friends for brunch -- great food and vibes. Bottomless mimosas and bloody marys (including a build your own bloody bar) for $20 -- great value if you are going to have more than 2. Great menu including a raw bar and fresh ingredients, local coffee. Bright, minimalist decor. Will return!
