I hosted a lunch for 9 at the FogRose Kirkland location. The venue was fine, cute but not 4 or 5 star. The food was okay, maybe 2.5 stars. We booked a pre-fixe $75 per person, and expected 30% for tax and gratuity; for 9 people, this would be ~$800. The bill we received was almost $1,200, with no explanation given (we didn’t order any additional drinks or food). Neither the bill or receipt were itemized; there was no notice on the bill that gratuity was already included. There was a line for the tip (but our waiter confirmed when asked that it was already included.) To top it off, there was a bird nesting in the ventilation above our table and feathers + debris fell into our food :/ After reviewing the original booking, I confirms that I was overcharged $330+, but have not been able to speak to anyone to get it resolved (tried both email and voicemail). At this point, I’ll likely take this up with my credit card company, as no one has responded or answered any of my attempts to get in contact. Disappointed, as this looked like such a great place online!

Great service with professional staff and beautiful food. Adult price was reasonable, but $75/kid ?? Not so much. Also, the street level noise with the doors open made it tough for the hearing impaired.

A truly lovely experience from beginning to end. The tea selection was delicious and the food was tasty and thoughtful for the theme. Jonas is so knowledgeable about teas and that was such a plus as I do not find that often at smaller tea experiences. I look forward to seeing what tea adventures they curate next. We will be regulars.

This was a very cute tea experience and I would definitely do it again. The wait staff never let our tea cups get empty and fulfilled every request quickly. I loved the small bites tower. Everything was tasty… although it’s a lot of food for 90 minutes. I had a lot of leftovers.

Our first time experience resulted in a very pleasurable time with a wonderful variety of teas, very well prepared savory and sweet foods and a most attentive staff. Met tea manager Jonah who was very welcoming and is very knowledgeable about teas from around the world. He advised that this new location will hold its grand opening on June 5th and will be expanding their services into late in the evening this summer. Highly recommend trying out this new place for afternoon tea and later this summer for speciality cocktails and evening snacks.

We came in for high tea around 1pm. We were seated and taken care of very promptly. The tea selection was fantastic and the team taking care of serving were extremely attentive. The food was incredible in variety and taste. Would 100% recommend!

The setting and props, so to speak, were very nice. But as my daughter put it, half way through eating an Asian salad, "You go to afternoon tea to have the blandest of British food...and this isn't that." (We are both dual UK/US citizens and lived there for many years, before anyone gets up at arms!) The Asian inspiration worked better in the sweets than the savories. Sauteed mushrooms weren't really what I was after pre-scones and jam, but the scones and cakes *were* very good. Try this, I guess, if you like to experiment with fusion? Though I do like fusion cuisine, just not really in this setting.

We loved everything about this place. Our host Jonas was very attentive and knowledgeable. We cannot wait to come back with more friends and plan to do all of our small gatherings here going forward. The location is very convenient as we went for a little stroll after by the water and did some shopping. Oh, and the food is exquisite. We will be back!

The restaurant was hard to find because there was no sign out front indicating its location. The service was awkward and didn’t flow very well. The savory food items we’re playing not good. The sweet items were delicious as well as the biscuit. This is way too much money to spend on a mediocre experience with a forced 20% tip for just two of us.
