    If you live near Modesto like we do, then you know the drive to the closest Brazilian barbecue is over an hour away. We had a birthday to celebrate and churrascaria is our favorite go to (Portuguese) for special occasions. We’ve been to about 15 or so different restaurants of this style from Portugal to Fresno, and the Bay Area. We have a lot of tummy data to compare this place to. Let me tell you. I balked at the pricing at first (lunch pricing seems very reasonable) but it’s worth every penny! The bartender/host was on point (red shirt). We appreciated his attentiveness and his ability to know exactly what we needed, when we needed it. The carving staff was equally attentive and knowledgeable. One notable and exceptional difference was the flow of meat options that kept coming and coming. The timing was perfectly consistent and we never waited. We ALWAYS have to wait at other Brazilian BBQs restaurants and it ruins the experience. Apart from the service being great, thank you to whomever is adding subtle, yet super tasty differences to the recipes. Here’s what we noticed. Bananas were delightful. The sugar and spice were very very nice. The cheese breads were fresh and flaky. Salad bar was missing a couple items that we’re used to like grilled vegetables, cured meats, sliced cheeses, and tabouli, but the quinoa was a nice change up and we enjoyed the corn salad. Chimichurri=Amazing. Hot food items at the salad bar were also tasty. The lighter colored beans reminded us of Feijoada back in Portugal. All of the skewered meats were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Shrimp were great. And the chicken hearts were absolutely amazing!!!! Thank you for serving the hearts! And finally, the flan was clearly homemade and not gelatin based like other restaurants. Final word. Thank you and we will be back.

    Leo and the crew was absolutely amazing! The customer service was A+ and the meat was well seasoned and delicious. This was my husband and I first time being here and it didn't disappoint at all. We will return soon!

    My wife and I celebrated our 7 year wedding anniversary at Fogo de Minas. The staff was very polite and welcoming as we entered the restaurant. They were excited that we chose Fogo de Minas to help celebrate our special occasion. The food was very delicious, especially the Flank and Garlic Steak. The service was very professional. You can tell everyone had pride in what they do. They were very careful with the sabers, especially around my children, which we greatly appreciated. It was so filling, but we just had to get the flan! It did not disappoint either! Very creamy and just enough sweetness. We will be definitely coming back to try the other meats we did not get too. Being it was our first time ever at a Brazilian Steakhouse, I thought we did a pretty good job. Next time we will bring our friends and other family, so they can share the experience. Thank you!

    The food was very good. It has been a long time since I last dined at a Brazilian steakhouse and it was in a different state. I noted the salad bar didn't have near the selections it had in the last place. I'm wondering if there is a shortage of availability of some food items. It was very good but I think a little pricey for what you get in the salad bar. The meat was excellent.

    Friday lunch at this place was a hit with co-workers. Everyone enjoyed the friendly staff, clean and inviting space. The food was certainly delicious. I am happy to know this place exists as I enjoy Brazilian style meats. Also, the flan was excellent for dessert. I highly recommend it!

    Excellent service and food! Servers walked by all night with different cuts of meat. We never had to wait! They were very sensitive to my gluten allergy and made sure everything I got was safe. Will definitely go back!

    The meat was really good, according to the rest of my party. I found on Yelp and the price was considerably higher ($65) that what was listed in Yelp ($50) for the full service. I felt for the amount without the meat servings, it was a bit of a rip off. Not a very big salad bar and I thought the "hot food" was not very good. I am not sure I would go back for that amount.

    Their salad bar is limited of sides you can choose from. Their rice is not authentic Brazilian rice. Don’t go there by yourself, servers and Gauchos will ignore you.I understand it’s business, they want a bigger tip.

    We had a reservation, and there was still seating issues. The hosts were not around when we arrived and someone cut us in line. The hosts were not clearly communicating, so the beginning of our experience was awful. Here’s our overall review: Too pricey for dinner… $63! Ouch! Not worth of what we paid, you didn’t eat $60 worth of food and some of the meat was fatty or dry. Lunch costs and other options (sandwiches and plates) seem very reasonable. Also, our waitress, Angela, was awesome! She made our experience better.

    I took my friend here for her birthday. The food and caipirhinias were delicious. The service was outstanding. Gabby was our main server but there was a another staff that went around asking if we needed anything. After we left, I immediately received a call from the staff because my friend had forgotten her birthday card at the table. The staff was worried that there might have been cash/gift card in the envelope (there wasn't). That was really thoughtful of them! Parking is easy because the restaurant is located in a shopping center. I've been to many rodizios but this one seemed to have a lot of employees who are actually Brazilian. I recommend this restaurant. You won't be disappointed!!!

    The AC was not working. The restaurant was hot and humid. I personally wasn’t feeling well, with the hot and humid environment, this resulted in not being able to eat. My boyfriend enjoyed his experience despite the AC and being uncomfortable but I had an awful time and just wanted to leave.

    This place is absolutely EXCELLENT!!! We came in an was instantly greeted and was taken directly to our table. Gabby was absolutely AWESOME and she explained all the different meats and salad bar options and she was very nice to us. Eric was EXCELLENT also as he came around along with Gabby checking on us and making sure we had what we needed. The food was great and the guys that come around slicing the meat did a great job. The restaurant was neat and clean and smelled like some good meats was cooking. Just the smell makes you ready to eat. It was also plenty of parking and they also had outdoor seating. I will definitely be back and I highly suggest this place.

    May not be the cheapest place to go, but for a special occasion, it is worth it. The food is phenomenal, the experience is fun and the wait staff is great. We had Victor as our server and he was awesome. Would highly recommend.

    Exceptional Brazilian Buffet Steakhouse. My daughter couldn't get enough of the lamb chops. The lighting and ambiance is warm and inviting. At 70.00 per person it doesn't disappoint. Perfect romantic environment to celebrate a sophisticated birthday.

    The food was great. we loved it all especially the flan!!! we went celebrating my husbands birthday and we mentioned it while making reservations. the staff didn't acknowledge it at alll, no happy birthday song or anything. that would have made my experience so much more thoughtful.

    There are some places that if I visit I like to stop and eat specific things and then there are places thats absolutely a must have and Fogo de Minas is one! I will never be anywhere near Sacramento and not stop to enjoy a delicious meal accompanied by excellent service.

    The dinner was absolutely amazing and the wait staff was super nice and very helpful as it was our first time here. Best dining experience I’ve had in awhile and I’m finding every excuse I can to come back. Our server Eric was phenomenal.

    The restaurant was understaffed for a very busy holiday. However, the manager filled the role as maître d’ and waiter. The atmosphere was great, the service was five-star, and the food was phenomenal. Well worth the experience.
