    My companion and I were at Fogo de Chao for their Surf and Turf Cocktail Party on Thursday evening. The restaurant was fairly busy, and our service was exceptional. The food was outstanding, as usual. We have been here before and were very impressed by the food, service, and atmosphere. It’s a very upscale Brazilian Steakhouse with an incredible buffet of side dishes to accompany the endless variety of meats delivered to your table on skewers. Truly a unique experience that is delicious and fun.

    The food and atmosphere were great. This was our first visit to this location! The cocktails were smooth and delicious. The vibe and the music were great. Our only problem was that the waitstaff did not always ask how we wanted our meat (well done versus med rare, etc), and they did not circle by as often as we would have liked during the meal… even with our card indicating “Yes, please!”. We had to flag people down at times, as we were sitting near a bussing station, and there were some cuts we never got to experience simply because nobody came by our table. It was not a problem because there was truly so many choices up at the buffet. We were more than satisfied with all the options and flavors. We would definitely return, simply for the ambience and variety.

    Much of the meat was dry, overcooked, and lacking flavor. Salad bar was great and fresh with lots of options.

    We go to this location quite often. We were sitting at a booth near the bar this time. One of the bartenders remembered I always get unsweetened iced tea with an extra glass of ice so while I was sitting there he brought one over with the extra glass of ice without even asking. I told him later that was so kind. I’m sorry I did not get his name. Cudos!!

    Host put us in the very corner even though other tables were available. We were behind a pole, so the servers with food didn’t come to us. Took us 30 minutes to get waters and I had to pour it myself, no one came to our table for 30 minutes.
