I dined her for my birthday a couple of years ago and it went great! I brought the family because how great it went for my birthday for my nephews graduation but not sure what happened when it was not that busy. Took a while for us to get seated and took a while for the server to come to the table which is fine I work in the hospitality industry. At the end me and my sister decided to split the bill and they charged us the wrong pricing. I told the server and she said she will look into the time we got say. She said it was past the lunch time price but I told her it’s not our fault it took a while to get seated when my family were waiting we came specifically for the lunch price. So she went and changed it then our cards got charged the wrong pricing and more then once then it was declined because it took all the money for my card. When this happens the first time servers should go to their managers and inform them what’s going on instead of charging the card multiple times.

Went for lunch. Empty when we got there but filled up fast due to a lot of graduation celebrations. The meat service was great but felt like there wasn’t enough waiter service. It wasn’t like they were being lackadaisical but very busy with all the tables. I only saw three waiters. All very polite and hustling. The food was very disappointing. I’ve been to many Fogo’s all over the US, more than 15 different locations and all have been pretty much the same. Very slight differences. The food here in Queens on 6/26 wasn’t good at all. Someone had a very heavy hand with the salt. The cheese bread was inedible because it was so salty. The mashed potatoes was good as usual. The meats were on the saltier side and one of them didn’t have salt at all. Felt like it was saltier than usual because the cuts of meat were thinner than other locations. So when I got a cut on the outside, it was salty. At the salad bar, I only got the rice and black beans. Rice was hard and the black beans was bland. Usually my favorite at every location to accompany the meats but this time it didn’t taste good at all. The desserts were great as usual as well. Parking was easy though.

We entered the restaurant at the time of our reservation and there was no host present to greet us. Once the host arrived she told us that our table would be ready in 10 minutes. We waited for more than 10 minutes to be seated. Once we sat down it took a while for a waiter to approach us. The waiter asked if anyone had been over to greet us and we said not yet. Once that connection was established the rest of the evening went ok. We were seated next to the bar and it was extremely noisy as patrons were enjoying themselves. The food was ok. We were celebrating my daughter’s 17th birthday and overall I think she had a pleasant evening! She definitely enjoyed her dessert.

Horrible organization and service! We made a reservation for Father’s day and they clearly overbook themselves in an insane level! We had to wait 30 minutes in line just to check in to then get told we would need to wait another 45 minutes to get seated! What is the point of reserving?! People come with babies including us, babies who are hungry, who have a schedule and we make reservations ahead of time for that exact reason and it makes no sense to come to a place that is fully overbooked beyond capacity that they can’t sit you for more than and hour and half after your reservation time! This is the worst experience ever! I would never again return and would never recommend this place to anyone!

They wildly overbooked the restaurant. We had to wait almost an hour after our reservation time to be seated. I understand it’s Father’s Day and it’s a busy time but they should reevaluate their booking cadence.

Was super busy and didn’t get full attention of the staff. Took a lot longer than usual to get service. Positive part was one of the servers recognized us. But that’s about it

Was a bit underwhelmed for Father's Day brunch. Did the churrasco experience without any add-ons with myself and the family. Staff serving meat was friendly but we frequently wondered where the next server was as there were long periods of no one showing up. The garlic steak was one of the chewiest things I've ever eaten, shocked really. And overall the variety of meat felt limited to other experiences I've had. I also felt like I was being upselled throughout whether it was having to specifically request tap water over bottled water, declining the premium table-side cocktails, and my favorite was narrowly dodging a $65 Macallan shot that the table-side alcohol server somehow didn't think necessary to bring up without asking for pricing. I'm willing to chalk some of it up to the Father's Day rush but I really didn't feel as great coming out of this as previous experiences.

Absolutely fantastic experience! The food was excellent, and the value was impressive. Fogo provided a much-needed escape from emotional grief and trauma, allowing me to momentarily forget my worries and truly enjoy the moment.
