I’m extremely disappointed with the experience at Fogo de Chão Brooklyn. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, service was slow and disorganized. It took 45 minutes to get two omelettes—with no line—and mine contained mushrooms, even though I’m allergic and specifically requested no mushrooms. The mashed potatoes, lobster tail, and crab cake all arrived cold. We voiced our concerns, yet no manager ever came to our table. On top of that, the meat selection was disappointing—only the same three cuts were served repeatedly, unlike the variety we’re used to at other Fogo locations. We dine at Fogo regularly, but this location fell far below the standard we expect.

We had a reservation and only waited about 10 minutes for our table, which was actually pretty good considering it was Father’s Day and the place was packed. This was our second time coming here, so I was surprised to see how limited the menu was today. The churrasco didn’t hit the mark at all, but the chicken wrapped in bacon was definitely the highlight. Most of the other meats were cold and kind of bland—no real seasoning going on. I also felt like I had to flag down the servers just to get their attention. Service was slow overall, probably because they were short-staffed with the crowd. If you're thinking about getting the lobster tail or crab cake—don’t. They were super heavy on the Old Bay, like a full spoonful of seasoning in every bite. No one at our table liked them. We ended up spending around $110 per person, and honestly, it just didn’t feel worth it. For a special occasion or busy holiday, this wouldn’t be my top pick. The food and service just didn’t live up to the price tag.

The cuts tended to be hit and miss. Some cuts were just straight up cooked through, and you couldn’t portion off to take home. Their “standards” aren’t quite aligning with their presentation.

I celebrated my birthday with brunch at Fogo de Chão – Downtown Brooklyn, and the entire experience was exceptional. The space is gorgeous—elegant yet welcoming—and the service was attentive from the moment we arrived. The food, of course, was the star. The seafood tower was a luxurious start, beautifully presented and fresh. The crab cakes were another standout—perfectly crisp on the outside and flavorful inside. And while the rodízio experience was everything I hoped for, it was the espresso martini that truly stole the show—bold, smooth, and just the right kick to toast the day. Celebrating with family and friends in such a lively, polished setting made this milestone even more special. I highly recommend Fogo de Chão Brooklyn for birthdays, celebrations, or any time you want to treat yourself to great food, excellent drinks, and warm hospitality.

I've been a few times and ever time I've enjoyed. The staff was very attentive, drinks was very good, ambiance was amazing, clean bathrooms, food good as well. Yesterday was a slight wait maybe because of the way I preferred my steak but I will definitely visit again for sure
