Waited 25 minutes for the table we reserved and finally gave up. No apology when we returned the notification device.

Our service was outstanding and food was still good from what I remember years ago.
We were celebrating a cultural holiday and the tall beautiful lady manager with the long hair :) ( sorry I didn’t catch her name) and servers made us feel very special. Atmosphere was very inviting and comfortable for any age. We mainly went for the steaks and salad bar and we indulge it all. Everything was scrumptious!!
This place was one of my favorite restaurants, unfortunately last night I came with my family for special occasions our server was so ignorant. We ordered bottle of wine and he keep telling us about the price😳and the worse part is we couldn’t have another one and also we were still working on our plates he took it from us which is so sad 😞
I will never return to this place.

The meat is typically delicious, I have been to this chain many times. Unfortunately, this particular night the majority of the cuts were tough.

Great salad bar and steak. It is a little difficult to get higher quality steaks like filet. Also a can of Coke will cost you $4. Overall a fun experience, but not an inexpensive one.

Great experience as always at Fogo. Have been to other Fogo locations in other cities. DC Fogo location has been the best one we have tried.
Decided to eat here for my birthday. It was a lovely experience. The staff seemed to care and were eager to please. It’s expensive but worth it.
We four enjoyed our time here. From the drinks to the market table to the grilled meat choices to the grilled pineapple and desserts at the end, we filled our bellies. Fortunately we prepared for the feast by not eating anything heavy for either breakfast or lunch!

Absolutely amazing lunch. Very attentive to every need. I love the management. I watch one of the manger from his start as a food attendant to a server to manager in training to one of the beat managers hands down. Always a great experience. ❤️❤️
We were avoided and ignored when the better cuts of meats were brought out. I brought my mentee to enjoy a special dinner. When you first get there they point you to the buffet. They bring out other stuff for you to fill up so you don’t eat so much meat. I guess that’s a business move. 😀
The buffet was subpar there wasn’t really much on it that I liked personally. Some of the meats that were served to us were fatty, gristle steaks, unseasoned (lamb chops), and subpar overcooked and dry. The lunch menu talks about at least six different types of steaks, with pork, chicken, spicy sausage. We saw very little of these items. They kept bringing out the same meats calling it something different.
They were times they’d come out of the kitchen pass two or three tables to get our table to serve the bottom piece of meat which would be overcooked and dry. We watched them take sausage that I asked for more than once to a table near me with a bunch of men. Go back to the kitchen and then come back out with a small roll of sausage, cut me small piece of something that was not spicy sausage at all.
At one point the servers just stop coming to the table. Even when we had the green showing. I watched him take meats to the tables in front of us that had certain people and then they would turn around and go back to the kitchen. When we got to the restaurant there was a line of people with meat waiting to step out to serve. Once we were seated that decreased significantly. Especially after the other people left. I think this restaurant picks and chooses who is going to get the good stuff but everyone has to pay. I paid $109 w/ $18 tip for two and no drinks. Unfortunate for them, I won’t be going back. Been there, done that and didn’t get the T-shirt? Peace!

Went to this restaurant to celebrated my daughter ‘s birthday.
first, The guys wasn’t passing the meat. When passing the meat the meat was very dry , have to keep asking the waiter to someone to serve chicken meat to my table because one of my guess only eat chicken . I spent $600 not worth the money the salad bar didn’t have a lot of choices. Also, I was sitting close to the salad bar, the waiter told me they not allowed to serve the sides like before the rice, beans, etc. if we want the side dishes on the menu I have get at the salad bar, that is why the salad bar had too many people. With COVID-19 no regulation very disappointing waste of time and money.

Enjoyable experience. I’ve been going to this restaurant for several years and today I brought my youngest daughter to have dinner with me for the first time. She was really impressed with the service and food.
Some of the steaks weren’t seasoned as well as my last visit. Filet was chewy. Market bar was exceptional. Server was probably new but very friendly. Management and support stay was extremely attentive. Hostess was exceptional. Overall I was. very pleased

We have dined at the Penn Quarter Fogo de Chao location and many other locations in multiple states for many years. Despite a last minute change in the reservations which was our fault resulting in a long wait - the hosts handled it well, we expected the same excellent service we have received here previously. It was my s/o’s birthday which I listed in the reservation, told everyone at the restaurant, and also brought in a huge balloon bouquet and table decorations. Then after 20 minutes of no service - not even the sides they bring to the table when you are seated - our first waiter who took our drink order was pleasant, however the quality of the meats later brought to us was poor. We requested different meat and cuts multiple times - to only see what we requested go to the table next to us and not us. We asked several times for the manager and after 40 minutes one came. He at first attempted to listen but then quickly became frustrated with us and was really of not assistance in reassuring us that the rest of our meal would go better. Only the first server acknowledged we were celebrating a birthday, no one else even smiled when they approached our table or even said a word of congratulations, we we’re treated like any other patron on a any other Wednesday night. It seemed that the manager did speak to the staff because we started getting the better quality meats that we requested, and they kept coming even after we turned the coasters to red. They did comp a dessert however I expected the manager to send us a drink or something to make up for the horrible service and his own rough time with us. Fogo de Chao used to be our go-to for celebrations and business meals, and even regular date nights, however I don’t see us going back any time soon to any location - and definitely not to the Penn Quarter location. As a result of this negative experience we may never dine here again.

This was my second time coming to Fogo de Chao and it was just as impressive. The meats were delicious and just kept coming. Love that you can choose how cooked you want it & it’s so quick! Even the salad bar options were amazing (my favorite was the brown sugar bacon). The best part of the whole experience though was the service!! Victor gave us the best restaurant service i’ve had in DC. Will definitely be back.
