Excellent food. Excellent and attentive service. Put me in a two-day food coma, but what do you expect!
We always have a great experience at Fogo.
avoid the chilled shrimp and lobster!! It’s poor quality and outrageous price!!!
Anniversary. Food was great. A show almost. Salad bar amazing. The best. Great selection of meats. Friendly, happy guys and gals. Our waiter disappeared after we had salad. Our first time. Fortunately the neighboring table and waitress were great. They explained how things worked. Pricing, items etc. otherwise I would have given you a zero for service.
Delicious food, friendly stuff, nice interior. Wide variety of authentic food. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Most of the meat was very very good. The lamb was my favorite the chicken was a little dry but for the most part the meat was very well cooked. The salad bar definitely could stand some revising. For that price I would expect more options from a salad bar. A lot of it was cold and didn't look very appetizing. The pineapples were great though! I give this restaurant three and a half Stars
Visited D.C. for a quick overnight. Never been to Fogo de Chao before. Saw it, tried it, loved it! Thanks for a great evening. The nice anniversary bonus made the evening more special! Highly recommend.
Very attentive staff and delicious food. We were seated immediately.
the staff made our 17th wedding anniversary very special!
The best EVER! FOOD. ATMOSPHERE. DRINK AND HOSPITALITY. Thank you for making us feel at home. Thats all we ever require when we eat out as we never eat out.
I really enjoyed this restaurant. The salad bar is amazing and a good bargain for what you can get in DC.
Good spot for a group outing with meat-lovers. The meat is prepared and served expertly, with something for everyone. Enjoyed the evening.
Great meat and service every time. Servers are very attentive and the folks walking around with the meat are glad to bring you whichever cut you prefer
We love the food, but on every occasion, this location has trouble getting our bill right and it is embarrassing having to constantly discuss it in front of others. They try to bill everyone for the meal when one in our party is a vegetarian and definitely didn't partake in the meat and another is only 6. We are also military and had to show all of our id cards twice.
My husband brought me here for my birthday so we had a reservation. It took 30 minutes for them to sit us, once we were sat it took about 15 minutes to be able to place a drink order. The food was just ok the service was fine. Not somewhere I’d go back to.
We get the way the buffet works with several servers serving different types of meat, but the wait staff was so confusing. There were about 3-4 different waiters bringing us drinks asking if everything was ok. When it was time for the check their were charges we didn’t make on the bill. Had to wait more than 10 minutes to pay the check. The worst thing is to enjoy a good meal then when it’s time to go you have to wait to pay.
Rebecca is always an amazing waitress. Amazing service every time.
Some of our friends are vegetarians and Fogo de Chao offers dishes for everyone. We love that about the restaurant.
The food was cold, I explained that to my server as I handed her my card to pay, the manager comes over, having already run my credit card and proceeds to tell me nothing was wrong with their food preparation. Lol
Fogo is fantastic every time. Our house comes for everyone’s birthday, and it’s the best tradition under our roof.
The Black Martini hasn't been on the menu in about 5 or 6 years, but they made it for my Birthday!!
My friend and I had been thinking of this outstanding salad bar all week, anticipating our lunch! It never disappoints - truly the freshest salad bar around, with many many choices of beautifully prepared and displayed items - including the best chicken salad, waldorf salad, soup and all kinds of meats and cheeses too. We had a grand time - solicitous service always checking but not intruding, no rush to leave or hurry along. Always love it and will keep returning!
Lots of great meat cooked to temperature you like. Nice salad bar, with varied selection and interesting options. Service is always good
Great experience overall. Bailey was great at her job explaining how everything worked and the rest of the team took care of us too. Will definitely go back... just make sure you're really hungry!!
The only thing I don’t like for the restaurant week it didn’t include 3 special meat
Enjoyed it. Very prompt. No waiting. Had reservations.
We didn’t wait that long for our reserved seat. Great service. Great food!!!!
Came here for a birthday dinner during restaurant week. Definitely come hungry.
Outstanding love love loved it
Went for the first time for my birthday and the food was amazing.
I have been to Fogo de Chao many times, and I have never been disappointed in the food or service. I've been for celebratory occasions, birthdays, holiday lunches, long meals with friends, and many other occasions. Fogo de Chao may be one of my and my family's and friends' favorite places to dine. To be sure, Fogo is not for the person who wants something small for dinner. If you're looking for a side salad and a cup of soup, you should probably find an Applebee's. Fogo is the place you go when you're hungry and you want to sample excellent meat and salad. Personally, I skip the sides offered at the table in favor of the amazing market table -- read, salad bar -- and feijoada (the Brazilian black bean stew flavored with pork and served with rice, bacon, farofa and oranges). I always start with the market table and indulge in beautiful asparagus, grilled zucchini, roasted sweet peppers, artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes, cheeses, salamis, salads of all varieties (the potato salad is supreme!), pickles and pickled peppers, and a wide range of fresh greens and vegetables. Then I move on to the feijoada, which is tasty, comforting and filling. Honestly, between the market table and the feijoada, you have an entire meal. But who would want to pass up perfectly grilled meats?!? It is so hard at home to get the perfectly crispy outside and medium-rare inside on a well-seasoned cut of prime beef. And that is the beauty of Fogo! Perfectly prepared beef, pork, lamb and chicken, served at your table piping hot, and you can have as much of it as you can possibly eat. What completes the experience is the friendly, attentive service offered at Fogo. The offers to bring whatever type of meat you prefer, the offers to get you a clean plate, the always-filled beverage glass, and many smiles, make dining at Fogo de Chao a real pleasure!
Was disappointed with the quality of the prime meats. Salad bar was outstanding.
My favorite Brasilian BBQ place in DC Metro area, though this time meat was not as good as it used to be especially Picanha were bit disappointing and Feijoada was saltier than usual.
Food was good. Service was great. The only downside is that the upstairs salad bar is very limited in comparison to the downstairs salad bar. I would not sit upstairs again.
The food was amazing
It was our first there, we enjoyed ourselves immensely.Definitely we will go back.
I came to FDC for a birthday celebration this past weekend and it was an incredible experience! The food at the salad bar was delicious and the meats were absolutely incredible.. I was impressed that I was asked what temperature I preferred the meats, and then received exactly what I asked for. Everything was soooo good and at the end, my cousin and I received complimentary desserts for our birthdays ❤️ thank you so much for a lovely evening!
Service was really good and friendly. The food was very good, but nothing exceptional. Glad I went and had the experience (finally), but not somewhere I would likely return because I don't see the value.
Even though our experience was great, our waiter could have came to our table more often to refill our drinks and it also seemed like he was judgemental he kept talking to someone else but constantly signing over to our table. Though we paid in cash he also questioned us as to why we where not tipping him and I clearly told him I was going to add the tip on my drink receipt though I feel that he didn't deserve the full 30 and I felt that 25 was reasonable due to his service and not coming back to ask weather or not we had any other questions... It was not until one of the managers came by and seen the puzzled face... FYI this was mine and my husbands first time but my parents had gone to the one in San Antonio Texas...
Food was very good but all of the different meats were not brought around to our table. It would have been nice if more of the specialty meats were brought to my table.
