It was my birthday dinner, couldn’t have wished for a better place to celebrate it!
Daughter’s birthday
Great spot in a convenient location with quality food and portion sizes. Immaculate service and ambience for any setting truthfully. Will definitely be returning.
I would hope that the wait time be decreased for people with reservations, Also the service of meats. There didn't seem to be enough variety and people going around. But other than the that the food was delicious.
We made a reservation and when we got there we were still made to wait, only 15 minutes, but just the principal. We were then seated in a alcove corner in which 80% of the meats did not make it to our table and just bypassed us completely. It was not until we were ready to pay and leave that we were asked how everything was and when we explained that we did not get to eat most of what was offered, the response was "oh sorry, do you want me to get it now?" No, we have been here over an hour already and were ignored and now just want to leave.
The food was ok. But the service was disappointing, given the amount that we were willing to pay to have a great dining experience. We most likely won’t be returning.
I had a wonderful time,the food was delicious 😋
Will stop by again
Excellent service and excellent food!!
Actually everything was terrific just a little noisy but it was the weekend the food was spectacular service was on target the drinks were tasty was beautiful great night out
Absolutely amazing! My fiance an I celebrated Valentine's day and the waitress treated us like royalty. At the end of dinner, she surprised us with a delicious flan dessert on the house to congradulate me on my pregnancy.
It was good and definitely a standard experience. But since it was valentine's day weekend so alot of people were here to cash in on the buy 2 get 1 free meal deal. So I had to wait to be seated even though I had a reservation. Additionally the service was a bit rushed because the servers were too busy.
Be careful you might walk past the hostess stand when you walk in. The hostess is extremely rude and you can not hear anything she says. Apparently you can also wear whatever you please in this particular Fogo, anything from a blazer, to a T-shirt, all the way to a women only wearing a bra. This particular Fogo also does not mind when a table of 18 is screaming at the top of their lungs while opening gifts in the middle of the restaurant for 20 mins. The entire place couldn’t hear a thing.
Very unprofessional place. Whole place needs a make over, salad bar is 1/10. Have been to other Fogo’s in multiple cities and this was 100% the worst.
We love Fogo & the complimentary dining card promo prompted us to have lunch on Friday. All beef was very disappointing. I think a good filter has a soft, buttery texture, but Fogo filet was dry, tough to cut & chew. Sirloins, flank, and even the rib eye all were hard to cut and chew. I had to discretely spit out most of the steaks. My favorite steak is the ribeye. The ribeye at Fogo was like chewing on leather, and did not have any marblization. All the steaks had the long “streaks” which to me is not the consistency of filets & ribeye cuts. The pork ribs were very tender & delicious. I wonder if the beef serves were cheap beef because of the complimentary dining cards promotion. The manager made new ribeye & the garlic beef, but both were still disappointing. I said it was fine because I did t want to make a big deal with other diners around us. I want to request for a refund & give back the complimentary gift card. I also wonder if DC Fogo May not have high quality meats because it always seems “tourist” filled who may not complain with all-you-can-eat dining of meats, and a local like us who live 2 miles away are more discriminating & may not be Fogo’s target customer. For $39.95, I wish we had gone to Morton’s or Ruth’s Chris. We cancelled our Sunday brunch reservation for my birthday...very disappointing because we wanted to go back for brunch to enjoy the food & get another complimentary dining card. For Brazilian steak house, we are going to drive to Tyson’s to Chimay instead.
Very nice and pleasant experience! All of fhe staff is wonderful.
Overall experience was very nice. I took my fiancée there on Valentine’s Day. The service was a bit slow due to it being Valentine’s Day but say still a good experience. The manager was very nice and when I brought up a concern about certain foods not coming to our table he made sure we got what we wanted.
Our server Hermes was great, he explained everything really well he was so attentive also
I would say the food is not worth the price. However, the ambiance is quite nice.
I always get very proffesional service. The food always taste great
The food and service were fantastic. The only problem was the pricing model. You paid a lot of money for unlimited meat with the salad bar also fantastic. I would have rather had less meat and more salad bar at a lesser price. Other than seafood options that did not appear to be an option.
Outstandingggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg!
Lovely experience. Really enjoyed the experience. Super attentive staff.
Most of the Meat had a lot of salt. Maybe you should allow the customers to put their own desire salt preferences. Thanks
Funny thing happened, as we were seated, our server/waitress came and began to explain and practicallly every part of her sentence had the phrase “Trust Me.....” which became a little annoying.
Also had a $100 e-gift card for the restaurant, presented it along with the credit card for the balance to be applied. She returned and informed us that there was a problem processing the e-gift because it appears that it was either “EXPIRED” (didn’t know gift cards had expectation date) or it was used before. I said please process it again or at least let me speak with the manager. Manager arrived took the information, we waited for over 10 minutes. Server came handed the information and said “ok thank you for coming” So I asked what was the issue? She replied, it’s ok, and walked away. So I asked another server to bring the manager over to the table for an explanation as to what happened; he came over and I nforms us - “Looks like the e-gift was used somewhere in Texas, but don’t worry it’s all good”; he also walked away. We all looked at each other puzzled as he walks away.....I am still at a loss for words as to what just happened! My puzzling questions are:
How was it determined that the card was used in TX, where in TX, what date. How was it resolved now for you to say “it’s all good”. Still at a loss for words.
awesome 1ST time loved it will be going back !!!!!!!!!!!!
Great service, food and ambiance. Will dine again very soon
It was our anniversary and they brought us a cake and it was so special!
Service staff were rude and the much of the meat was overcooked as the meal processed.
Service was initially amazing but as the evening went on we waited and waited for meat service despite being asked by 2 staff members what meats we wanted. Then it took almost half an hour for the check to come after our server said he was getting it. Still the food was amazing. Expensive and not a place we will go for dinner every week but a nice treat nonetheless.
Staff was wonderful. Food exceptional.
Dinner celebration for my boyfriend’s birthday was great! Service was IMPECCABLE!!! The wait staff was extremely attentive and on point!
I was here for everyday dining and I had a wonderful experience. The staff was helpful but not overbearing. The meat was tender and nicely cooked.
Service was great, food delicious and atmosphere inviting.
Hadn't been there in awhile. Group of work friends met for lunch. Food was wonderful as always. Had a terrific time. Plan on having dinner there soon!
I went to Fogo de Chão for my birthday with a group of friends. We experienced excellent table service and food. If it’s your birthday you get a free dessert! This place is definitely for when you want to splurge, so be prepared for a hefty dinner bill.
Every six months, I get a new intern, and I use Fogo de Chao as the place we conduct our get-to-know-each-other talk. It never fails to impress the young people, and the quality of the food and the service has stayed absolutely excellent over the years, I have done this. And it's always funny to see people realize that their stomachs cannot hold another bite, but their eyes and nose continue to tell them that they want more. Can't recommend it enough.
We took German visitors who have not eaten at a Brazilian steakhouse before and they loved it!
The salad bar was not very good. I saw a patron use his bare hands to get food from the salad bar.
Awesome service
The meat are good, but a little bit expensive. People there are so friendly. Love this place!
Everyone made our special night, extremely enjoyable. From our waitress, Lisa, all the way to the manger, Charlotte. All of the employees we encountered were terrific!! I was impressed with all of the food, service, and atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
