This service is always paramount. This is why we come.
Fantastic evening, great meet, wonderful staff.
This is the 9th year in a row my friend and I have met up for a Christmas lunch. We love it.
Thank you for another amazing dining experience. Food was delicious & the service was wonderful.
The Upstairs Floor Manager was AMAZING! She personally came to our table multiple times to check on us. I had a shoulder and ankle injury and she was over accommodating with helping us down the elevator and out the side door. Appreciated her more than she could imagine! Next time I’m in DC, I will definitely be back!
Other than me not receiving my hot tea at all, not refilling the polenta, and multiple staff brushing into my chair, the service was good. We were seated at a round table all the way at the back left of restaurant right near the entry to the kitchen. It was very loud and busy there. Could have sworn I asked for a quieter location at reservation. The salad bar area was very crowded. Just a few less seats would allow better flow around it. Food was excellent as usual. What is upstairs? Would he awesome to have a second story with a salad bar. Next time I have a group will ask for the private enclosed room.!!
Very nice dining experience for our guests from Greece.
the experience was amazing. My only complaint would be the cold vegetable bar. Cold roasted vegetables? Not the best in my opinion. Everything else was amazing.
The service was great. I just wish the garlic sirloin taste a bit better. I go for that particular cut of meat and this time it was just off.
A great place for meat-lovers! Enjoy various cuts of meat brought to your table with a nice salads and sides buffet. You will not leave hungry!
My family and I were in DC for the day celebrating my son’s 18th birthday. Fogo de Chao has been on his wish list for a very long time. Everything was top notch. Service was excellent, wait staff was professional and friendly. Food was delicious. The ambiance and decor was stylish and upscale. I just want future patrons to know that 2:30 is the last reservation for lunch and that the salad bar will close while you’re dining.
Extremely noisy. Food was a disappointment for the price. The salad bar was enjoyable. Overall I wasn't impressed with the food, service or ambiance. I would not call it fine dining.
Fantastic place. Our go to restaurant to take guests and family when they visit. The manager always come around to make us feel welcome. All the wait staff help you regardless of where your table is located. Please don’t change a thing. Perfect!
Some of the menu items publicized were not available. Also some of my favorites were no longer on the menu and there was no warning.
Best way to do Thanksgiving.
Fine dining at its best. Variety of options. Worth the money.
Excellent food. Good price for market table.
Excellent service. Great food.
The overall experience was lovely. Great drinks and the food was amazing. Never been to the DC location but I will be sure to visit again. Great service also.
Always delightful to dine at Fogo de Chão. Great service and fantastic food.
Meat. Lots of meat. Delicious.
I was warned that Texas de Brazil is better. I agree. The ambiance was nice and you can hear your conversation at the table. Not so at Texas de Brazil. However, the salad bar, soup, and cuts of beef, while tasty, did not surpass my experience at Texas de Brazil. Also, at $15+ a cocktail, I expect at least a couple of drops of any alcohol in them. I don’t mind paying that kind of money for a cocktail but it must be worth the price.
The food was amazing!
I love Fogo and I always have a positive experience. The food is amazing and the staff is very attentive and there to cater to your every need. I would definitely recommend.
I had high expectations but from the host not clearly explaining how the restaurant works, to poor recommendations, to forcefully taking my plate to serve dessert - knowing that I wasn't finished. I guess he was ready for us to eat & quickly leave.
Fogo de Chao never disappoints! If you are a meat lover like I am, I definitely recommend this wonderful churrasco experience.
We had a Awesome time thanks to your superb staff. DANIEL was GREAT very nice . His interaction was great. And Iris was Amazing as well both have great customer service. We truly loved our time there.
My wife and I live in Virginia Beach Virginia and travel to the DC area often. Over the last 20 years of living in Virginia, we have eaten at this location many times and have always found those experiences terrific. This time however Fogo really fell short. We invited family from out of town to visit us in DC and it was there first trip to our nation's capital, as well as dining at Fogo. From the moment we arrived for our reservation, Fogo was lacking their usual excellent services. Valet parking was a disaster, with just two very angry and curt valets handling the parking. I waited outside in the cold for over 20 mins just to get my car taken. Our party of six was seated very close to the front door and right in the entry corridor to the main dining room. Everytime patrons came and left from the front entry, our group was hit with cold air. Also, it seems Fogo has packed the main dining floor with so many tables, it made for a cramped and uncomfortable dining experience. The only 5 star grade I can give is for our waiter Steven. He was excellent in being helpful and engadged with our dining party. Fogo's food was as always good, but this time around with the issues I mentioned, it just lacked the usual Fogo polish. For what I paid, nearly $700 which also includes a 30% tip for Stevens excellent service, I would expect more and better from Fogo than what we received. I think the next time we are in the DC area, I will have to find a new restaurant to try.
Beef Ribs were outstanding
Phenomenal absolutely outstanding service by the wait staff couldn’t have asked for a better experience
Amazing! Loved the food and entire experience. Can’t wait to go back on our next special occasion.
I have eaten at numerous Brazillian steak houses before including several Fogo de Chao. Unfortunately, the service this time was bad. I asked different waiters on numerous occasions to bring certain cuts of meat (for which I was paying extra) and they never responded. Although we were tended to for water refills, after we sat down there was little if any interaction with wait staff. Eventually I spoke with a manager who comped the entire meal but it didn't make up for the fact that I wanted to eat lamb chops and never did.
Our favorite restaurant in town. Great value! The salad bar also has great selection. Kids 6 and under for free.
The new lighting upgrade is nice. The food is always good.
Food was great, as always! But the lighting was horrid...way way too bright. Turn down your new LED lights!
Went for the $39 special they have been widely advertising for the past few weeks. Ate an okay meal full of tender steaks, although they do rare steak well but medium to medium well is hit and miss. Also, they tend to cut too many of the steaks with the grain, not against it rendering too many cuts tough. Lastly, the filet Mignon was bland but super tender.
Cut to the end when the bill comes, instead of $39 the cost of the meal was $59 per person!!! I was told that one must tell the waiter before the meal that you wish to take advantage of the special because the special does not include filet, ribeye, or ribs. Totally disappointed, instead of our group paying about $160 for meals the cost was $240!!! Simple customer service would dictate that they inform you about the special and it’s restrictions BEFORE the meal.
This is a perfect bait and switch because deep on the third page of the fine print is the fact that one must inform the server of your intention to partake of the special. Just leaves a sour taste in the mouth. We paid. Left a tip that was generous but less generous than normal. The $39 special feels like a scam that many customers get hoodwinked into thinking they are getting only to really be getting the full price experience which is not as good as it once was. Buyer beware!!!! Plus the special only includes the tough cuts of meats, no filet, no ribeye, no ribs. Plenty of chicken and tougher fattier cuts of steak. Take your money and just go to a regular steakhouse or restaurant with better and overall value.
Excellent customer service! The selection of meats and salad bar were superb and perfectly prepared.
Thank you for recognizing U.S veterans and making the day special for us.
We went there for Veterans day and everything was awesome!
