Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse - Washington DC
Fogo de Chão is an authentic Brazilian Steakhouse (Churrascaria) that has been setting the standard in Brazil for the past 36 years. Today, our gaucho chefs still expertly grill and carve tableside each of our cuts of meat like Picanha (signature sirloin), Filet Mignon, Ribeye, Fraldinha (Brazilian sirloin) Cordeiro (lamb) and more. In addition to the main dishes, enjoy our gourmet Market Table, authentic Brazilian side dishes, and award-winning wine list. We attended the Sunday Brunch, 3 opted for the full experience and I opted for the Sea bass. I think I would try the salmon next time but we were all full and extremely satisfied with our experience. Also the brunch offers an omelet station and fresh waffles.
I and my sister had a fabulous time for her birthday she went on Saturday and is still talking about it on Monday... We had a great time thanks again for everything the service was wonderful and everyone was extremely nice.
Great we had a piece of a bone in pork chop then they didn’t have anymore this was for lunch on Saturday wish they would keep that on meni
I’ve been coming to Fogo for many years through the USA however, this specific location and Miami Beach seem to have very slow service. I enjoy the food and come here over Texas De Brazil but really I think I’m going to make the switch official as I’m done being disappointed. We got maybe at most 6 visits to the table and to pay we literally sat in our chairs for 30 minutes waiting for them to give us the check and process the payment.... sad that the service isn’t the greatest because the food is good.
This is always my most favorite place to go eat and I’m always taking/telling family & friends to eat here. It’s never a disappointment
My best friend and I frequent this location once a week for lunch. Each time we receive the same GREAT service. We will certainly continue to be repeat guests here! Excellent.
Consistently great food and strong service. Best salad bar in town and lots of great meat. Also, good wine selection. A little expensive, but worth it as an occasional treat.
The last time I ate at Fogo de Chao was about three years, and I had truly missed the place. The veggie bar was delicious. Excellent selection! The meats were just succulent. Everything was great. I will not wait another three years to return!
The service was outstanding! We never waited long for anything we needed! In addition, all the servers were very polite.
The atmosphere was very calming.. The salad bar selection was great, very tempting. The service was interactive. I enjoyed the attention from the staff and their quick response. The meat selection was great and plentiful.
Always fun, always filling. Often noisy...
It's a formula and they have it down but, in this case, that's a positive.
The meat (it's all about the meat) is good, very good in some case and some cuts more than others.
They could use a little updating by perhaps making some sauces (steak) available or using special seasonings on the meat but it's a Brazilian steak house...But, wadda ya want, French food??
Salad eaters can find a meal, vegans and vegetarians looking for more than a salad need look elsewhere.
It was great! The experience was nice. The salad bar could have been better. There were some missing items that were there the last time I visited.
Great service. Good wine list. Some of the meat selections you had to ask for. But they brought it out when u did
Went here with co workers who hadn’t had the experience Fabulous service , staff was awesome. The endless meat service is always fun . Great if you have friends or family that have never been .
Food was excellent! Very flavorful and fresh. Service was top notch!
It's a busy restaurant and making a reservation is recommended. The food was excellent. Our server, Eli, was especially excellent. I appreciated the salad bar because of the array of choices. The manner in which all of the meat are presented for your own personal selection makes dinner fun and practical.
Awesome place! Food and service was incredible! Can't wait to go again!
Everything is always excellent. We’ve never had an experience that wasn’t perfect. You get what you pay for. Food, service , staff. All flawless.
Birthday for Jennifer
Excellent, as always.😁
Love the food...but we had to wait for 30 mins to get my own bill. I had to get the server to get my check and wait for 25 mins to get a check. The server walked pass by us at least 3 times and acted as if I never have my credit card to pay. First time we have had to wait for about half an hour for a check...just ridiculous.
Very Nice Birthday experience
Customer service alone is a reason to dine here. The manager's are great, the servers are helpful and everyone working there is focused on their diner's enjoyment. I've never eaten so many parts of a cow in one sitting before, and it was worth it. I'll definitely be bringing family who come to visit me to Fogo.
Always a fun time and its a good value but don't expect service or quality like a top steakhouse. The gauchos come around regularly and salad bar is self serve so food is always available as soon as you sit down.
We had to ask for water refills a few times. I asked for sugar for my coffee when I ordered it and again when it came but I never got it.
Comp'd my daughters dessert since it was her birthday and they brought it with a birthday candle.
Birthday dinner went well
We have been Fogo de Chão’s loyal customers for over a decade. We always had the best meat, food and service. We’ve noticed, begging last year, that the quality of the meat (hard), the way it’s grilled (burned), and even the service are not the same. We have tried both Tyson’s Corner and DC, and both are the same: the quality is going down every time. Fogo is an expensive restaurant, but it was worth it. It was. Not anymore. How about a $200 bill for poor meat quality and not the best customer service anymore? The quality needs to be at the same level as the price charged. Well, Fogo just lost some loyal customers.
Hands down to the whole staff! Service, food and hospitality was awesome! Worth every penny. Would definitely come back.
Lucia the server was outstanding... as were the managers
Took student doctors visiting DC to meet with their members of congress. It was great food and an event they will pay forward to other students when they start practice
Great food. A little pricey. Special occasions would be my recommendation on when to attend
This place is awesome. Staff are uniformly attentive, courteous & helpful. Food is plentiful and delish.
It is very pricey but you get what you pay for!
Good service good food also food was fresh and hot
We come to Fogo often. This time some family was in town and after a day at a museum we came here and met up with other in-town family. We waited for the rest of our party at the bar, where the bartender made me a white sangria even though it wasn’t listed on the menu. The dinner as usual was wonderful. As always, I wish I could eat more! The Market Table alone is more than enough but I usually get the “full experience” as well. Wonderful evening, food, service.
I mage reservations for me and my fiancee, and the salad bar was empty and the seating area was to croweded, as well as noisey.
The service was exceptional and the food was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the fruit and vegetable bar. We visit Fogo de Chao once a year for our wedding anniversary and the experience is always fantastic.
Consistently attentive great service and food.
Great for carnivores and offers for non-carnivores were appreciated
Our evening at Fogo couldn't have been better. The food and service are exceptional.
The restaurant Fogo de Choa is a treat. The lunch is $39.99 for all you can eat market place salad, soup and the variety of meats are brought to your table no stop. They utilize a disk green means go and they continue to bring you meat and you can turn it on the reverse side for red when you want to stop or rest between eating. I would say it is good for special occasions.
