My dad’s 61st birthday.
Went for Resturant week! Great price for the meat selection that was included! Endless food is never a bad experience 😂
Had a magnificent time. High quality meats. Good atmosphere. Great salad bar and desserts in addition.
Can’t beat the awesome restaurant week deal for $35 dinner. Despite it being ridiculously crowded, the manager still checked in on us and asked our favorite meats and cuts. Great service!
The tables were a little close together. But all in all the experience was great. I’ve been to fogo in nyc, so i knew what to expect. My boyfriend hasn’t, and he was thoroughly impressed. We also went for restaurant week so we got a great deal. Highly recommend.
The food was great as always but the service was an issue for me. The day we went happened for being during restaurant week. However, we went for the "full experience," which we thought we were getting until we were denied certain selections. I won't throw in race as an issue but our server assumed we wanted the restaurant week special, even though we specified the full experience, and by the time she attempted to rectify the situation we were almost done with our meal. Now I feel like I have to go back to get what I expected and didn't get this time around. I doubt I would return to this location.
The food was very very very salty and poor service
atmosphere of the restaurant is great and service was amazing, but some of the meats were under seasoned
almost bland. the meats were definitely cooked perfectly and the salad bar and bar drinks were good.
Our waiter was so talkative, with other tables he never came back to check on us. We spoke with other waiters to ask for anything we needed. It was really crowded, felt like sardines.
Though the food was excellent, we felt that the staff was under prepared to handle large crowds. Also when seated, it felt like the server was rushing through the order and service. Overall good food and ambiance.
Good value on restaurant week for sure. Thanks for a great dinner!
EXCELLENT, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TO ALL MEAT LOVERS (THE SALAD BAR IS NICE AND THERE IS SEAFOOD AVAILABLE AS WELL)
The restaurant week deal was amazing!
Closer quarters than Texas de Brasil on mass Avenue but the beef was better tasting and more seasoned.
Love it! I’ll be back.
Brothers bday. This place used to be great now it’s a cheap version of its old self.
Great food great service! Worked with us since we missed our reservation due to traffic despite being booked solid! Thx!
Great experience at Fogo. The results 7 hours later of being extremely sick with a tummy ache 😷 killed the whole thing.
The Fogo de Chao in Washington DC has a much smaller salad bar than the one in Baltimore and my opinion you don't get your money's worth there getting the total experience it is a waste of money because generally you don't eat that much and again the salad bar is much smaller
Birthday!!! We enjoyed ourselves!!! Food and staff was excellent!!! Can’t wait to go back!!!
I had a reservation but they were half an hr late in seating us. They had no clear line for checking in and at least 3 people cut in front of me to check in and as a result were seated first. The entrance was so crowded Im 100% certain it was a safety hazard. Even during normal conditions people were having trouble exiting. A simple system could be used to create lanes down the only hallways to enter the restaurant which will separate those entering from those exiting. They also need to create a line for those checking in and have more people at the front attending to those who are checking in so they don’t feel ignored or cheated by those cutting in line. I should not experience this sort of hassle for a $200 meal. The whole experience should be flawless. Not just the experience once in seated. My girlfriend for her birthday had to wait half an hr even after I made a reservation. Our server was really great. The all you can eat menu was plentiful but there were only a few meats I really liked: the filet mignon and my favorite the beef ribs. They seemed to bring around a lot of inferior meats just to fill you up. Make sure to not accept every meat and just go for the best. I have a feeling they try to fill you up ASAP. You really want to save room for the best cuts of meat. This much meat really fills you up and can make you feel sick. I think it’s a little bit of a novelty. We spent approaching $200 for two people with two drinks. The drinks weren’t anything special at all compare to a Jose Andres restaurant for instance. I’d much rather go to a nice steakhouse and order a $30 steak then get a $60 platter of meats and only really really enjoy 1/5th if them. It’s especially ironic since when you experience a whole variety of meats at the same time you can clearly tell which ones are superior and why. Some of the meats are overly salted. More is not always better is the best way I can describe this restaurant. It’s a bit of a novelty experience
It was amazing!
Awesome place for dinner with friends & family. We had a blast and will be coming back again when I’m back in DC
It was my first time going and I had a great experience. Would definitely go again.
Great place and good meat selection
The waiter kept forgetting about us, didn’t being my tea at the end and didn’t bring extra bread that we ordered. He didn’t stop for a while and I had to order my second glass of wine with a different server because I was tired of waiting.
Other than that, the food, ambiance and cleanliness of the restaurant were very good.
Just great for meat lovers. It is expected that you would end up over-indulging on the great meat selections they offer and the meat is very good quality and well prepared. The salad bar is good too and the selections are abundant. Thank you for another great meal!
Love this place! The service is outstanding! If you love steak this is the place for you. Only downside is that it may cost you and arm and a leg. So i only go if i have a coupon from being a member on their website. Definitely worth the splurge once in a while.
They treated my and girlfriend so well!
Servers were super nice. All the food was overwhelming and super delicious. A meat-lover's paradise.
I would have enjoyed more selection of meats, veggies and fruit. Overall it was good, space is a little tight trying to go from your table and the bar.
This was me and my wife’s first time to go to a brazilian steak house and wow I was blown away. I’m a big meat eater so this place was right up my alley. The salad/vegetable bar didn’t do much for me but that wasn’t the reason I went. I was there for the meat and it did not disappoint. This was the best meat I’ve ever had, delicious. The service was awesome and it was a very fun experience. $60 a person is kind of pricey but it was worth the experience.
After we left the restaurant we realized that drips of oil from the meat being carved on our plates were all over my daughter’s brand new white jacket. When we called the restaurant, the hostess that answered the phone was rude and stated that it just happens. After asking to talk to a supervisor, we were offer to send the bill for the dry cleaning, except that this jacket cannot be dry cleaned. The least they could do is to comp a future meal for having ruined a brand new garment. Just very disappointing in how this was handled.
We went for a fun evening just prior to my two sons who were returning to college. Fogo is a great evening of ample meat of high quality. We ate a lot, laughed a lot and had a great time. The service was absolutely wonderful - with meats coming to us very quickly, staff asking if there was a particular type of meat we’d like, water and wine refills quickly, clean plates frequently, as well as a check-in from the manager. The meats were perfectly cooked, tender and seasoned well - if a bit lightly. A little expensive - but worth the money.
We went for dual purpose. It was my parents 33rd wedding anniversary and we also had some international relatives who never experienced dining like this. They loved it! It was a large space so it was not so crowded even with all the servers with the meats. Food was delicious and the serves were super nice.
Enjoyed my birthday dinner with my husband. Everyone was gracious and the food was delicious. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
I always look forward to coming here on my birthday each year and this was no exception. The food, service and entire staff were awesome as usual. This is my go to place to eat because my wife is a picky eater and they always have something here for the both of us. Great place to go for groups and have a great time with friends and family. Or just a quiet romantic place for your significant other.
Great atmosphere! The food, the service were great The staff was very attentive. I would definitely recommend to family and friends!
