Having been to other locations, we went with high expectations. We were definitely let down. Food was at times cold. We were waiting between meets anywhere from 5-10 minutes, and it was the same 4/5 options. Items on the menu never were offered and when we would ask, they would say it was coming but it never did. Ordered drinks that took forever to show up if they did. Bathrooms were dirty. We did speak with the manager and he took two meals and the drinks we never received off the bill. Overall, we left so disappointed. We will go back to the DC or Baltimore locations but not the Tyson’s Corner one.

We had been to the D.C. location previously and were expecting the warm pineapple to be served off the stick, but we were told that you do not do that at this location. That was disappointing. Blood was flung onto my father's suit two different times. Salad bar needs a couple more lettuce options. Overall, a decent experience.
Three of us ate the standard $55 meal and shared a $60 bottle of wine. After taxes and tip it came to $280 total. For that amount of money, I expect the food to be off-the-scale great, but it wasn't. The meat was good. The salad bar was good. But not $280-good, in my opinion.
On the positive side, the service was excellent, as was the ambiance. Still, I suggest saving your money and cooking your own meat on the grill.

This was our first visit to Fogo de Chao, and it did take some getting used to, Once we figured out the serving process we were good to go! All of the meats were top notch, and the service was superb. This is a meat-lover's paradise, and the variety was almost impossible to comprehend. We will be back again!
The brunch was very good! The meat today was a little heavy of the salt but overall everything was tasty.
Meat is not coming. So many serving disconnection while having a brunch. It was very disappointed.

This was our worst experience at this location so far. We didn’t have a server assigned. We just got sliver of attention from any server available in the area. Meats were delayed, no attention and then whatever we asked for like drinks and desserts and check, all took forever.
We are truly disappointed to read that our team delivered you the worst experience, in your opinion. Please know, our guests deserve to experience our unique experiences always, so we hope you award us another chance to earn your satisfaction.

The service was very poor, when I finally did get my food, it was like eating a frozen fish stick but a very expensive one at that. I would not recommend anyone go here.

Great salad bar, very much Brazilian, Service and Ambience. One of my favorite places to go to.
Lots of great choices, huge salad bar quick and friendly staff. The meets were a little on the salty side, and the best meets you had to ask for, as I did not bring them around.
We had a great time and I would recommend it.
Our dining experience was average at best. I have dined at FDC in the past and always look forward to the salad bar and delicious array of meats aimed to please any carnivore. This time, there seemed to be limited meats being served even though we had selected the full dining experience. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen, but we were served a total selection of 5 meats which was a bit disappointing.
I got this gift certificate for becoming a registered nurse and honestly after this experience this is truly the best gift to give! Thank you so much for having us, and although I did not explicitly discuss what I was celebrating the night was just made perfect for me.
They forgot our special occasion surprise and that was bad in front of my wife what a shame

Meat does not rotate as a rate it should be so you get really less choices.

I always love fogo but this time was not my favorite
It was our first time to this restaurant, we found more than our expectation, the food is delicious and the service was very good.
I love the idea of this place. The food is amazing. The fact that they let you choose the temperature of the meat is a nicer touch than other Brazilian Steakhouses I have been to. It is a bit noisy on a Saturday evening, but I'm sure during the week it would be more quiet and relaxing. It feels fancy, however, with so many tables and so many people, it is a bit crowded feeling as well. The servers were very polite and accommodating, but with so many tables to take care of, retrieving drinks from the bar was a bit slow. Overall, I do recommend this place as a great date spot!

Worst service ever. We got our cheese balls at the end of our meal. That’s all I asked for. I didn’t care the meat guy came only every 10 min. I didn’t care that my water was always empty. I didn’t even care that we got sat 30 min after our reservation It was just the cheese balls that broke my heart.
It was amazing, our server Jaime was the best server in my entire life. Being my first time and on a busy time he was so patient and took the time to really better my experience.

Waiter was non existent. Wasn’t able to get a drink order in.
We had reservation for 7:15 pm
We were able to seat at 7:50 pm
And after we were seated we only tried 3 cuts of meat even know we were paying full price
Drinks didn’t get refill until we were about to leave
We asked for some bananas
And they were burn ( nastiest ever )

This was the fist time we treated that way
Every time we visit our party is at least 4 people
Our bill was about $485
But that was because we ask for wine ( 2 bottles)
Again I’m very disappointed
We had a 7:00 Valentines Day reservation but they were running behind so we didn't actually get seated until 7:30. Not a huge deal since we knew it would be crowded.
Overall, we had a good time. We enjoyed the pineapple mint lemonade a lot as well as the Brazilian limonada. We asked for seconds on the pao de queijo because it was addicting. The fried plantains, yucca and mashed potatoes was a welcomed surprise (we didn't realize it came with sides) although it came after our second round at the salad bar. We filled up on the various meats - filet mignon and strip steak stood out in particular. We waited a while for the ribeye and beef ribs to show up but it wasn't that good, too fatty and flavorless. Sausage was good, chicken was dry. Didn't even try any of the bacon wrapped meats.
We opted for the tres leches cake (because they ran out of creme brûlée) but it wasn't as great as we had anticipated- it tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for a while, very clammy and the frosting left an oily aftertaste in our mouths.
The main issues we had with our meal were:
1) Because it was so busy, the dinnerware wasn't being washed properly. We had to return the water glasses back because they had a sticky residue on them. We also had to ask for new spoons for dessert because the ones we had were dirty.
2) Service was lacking - and understandably because it was so busy - but we barely got attention when we needed it and the waiters kept forgetting the things we requested (such as new silverware).
We definitely look forward to going back when it's not as busy :)
We are prolific diners at these Brazilian steakhouses from Gauchos to Texas de Brasil to Chima. I understand that it was Valentines Day but this was hands down the worst service ever.
The thing about Valentines Day is that the dining room can only hold so many people. So Valentines Day cannot be any busy than a busy Saturday night for most restaurants, except the peak busy time is longer. In fact because tables must be held for reservations, sometimes Valentines Day is actually not as busy as a busy Saturday. Anyway, we had to ask several times for water, the side dishes, and the cheese bread. None of these requests were fulfilled after the first requests and certainly not in less than 20 minutes.
Worse, the selection of meats being rotated were the same 4 meats and with a very large gap of time inbetween. Sometimes I would wait 10 minutes with no meat at all.
Well for starters the girl working at the desk didn't know what she was doing. Our reservation was for 6. When we arrived there were people standing around waiting to be seated. We had to go up to the desk and ask how long was it before we were going to be seated. She didn't give us a pager until I had to go up there and ask for one. People were walking in and being seated while we were standing there waiting to be seated. After the 3rd time of going up to the desk we were seated. By this time it was 6:23. Never go on Valentines Day.The waiter wasn't that great either. He finally came around to pick up the dirty plates. Food wasn't that great either like the last time we were there. They did have a heck of a salad bar. About the only good thing that night. It probably would have been better if they had seated us on time. I mean what's the point of making reservations if they aren't going to follow through on them? I can see a few minutes but not 23.
Had 545 reservation. Not seated for 20 minutes and my wife informing the host of that fact. Even after being told by a hostess it would only be a few minutes. Then did not receive a buzzer upon arrival as many others did.
Was seated but no waiter for 15 more minutes. Waiter did not return with bread nor plantains. Only after speaking to another associate was it brought along with wife’s hot tea.
Did not get potatoes at all during the visit.
Meats took several minutes to come around. That was even after speaking to another hostess who asked if the food was ok. Had to tell her we had not had anything.
You do not have to burn the food to make it medium well!!! And it tasted bland
Even the couple next to us told us they were sorry for such poor service. We did not complain as it may have gotten worse. Even left a 20% tip. Yes it was busy as it was Valentine’s Day but come on, the restaurant should be ready to handle such occasions. Not like it’s the first!!! The only reason I didn’t take photos is because I left my phone at the hotel. Hopefully someone photographed/videoed the chaos.
Our first and last time to this restaurant and will not recommend.
