All waitstaff polite . The Valet parking is key and appreciated . W/o the valet parking I would think twice about coming to this location. Bathrooms are very clean.
The service was below par, most employees were not friendly.
We have been to a few other locations but this was our first visit to Tyson's corner. The food was very good, as usual, and it was nice to have the bruch selections which we had not experienced before. Our waitress was not so friendly-you could tell she was trying to be nice but it was so noticeable because the rest of the staff was very friendly.
Birthday but was not mentioned by our server
Love this venue because it's much more spacious than other Fogo's. The staff are definitely very attentive.
Service was sub par. Had to wait for waiters/waitresses many times. Salad bar selection was poor. Beef ribs (our favorite) were under cooked. Interior decoration was very nice which was the only good thing for us. Parking was easy and inexpensive. You get much better experience at Chima for the same price.
Just the best steak in the country.
So glad I picked this place to celebrate with my brother’s 21st birthday! Thank you so much!
Had a wonderful meal! Can’t wait to come back!
Great food, and nice festive atmosphere. The salad bar is amazing. You have to pay to park though.
It was superb!
Great service and food as usual. We are big fans of the weekend brunch.
Overall, it was very good, except for the filet mignon which was way over cooked (very well done).
We took our five kids to the Tyson’s Fogo de Chao to celebrate two birthdays and the whole staff made the kids feel really special. Our waitress even brought us a complimentary dessert. The service was great and the food was as good as we expected it to be. Great experience, although I’m more likely to go back again when I have a coupon or other discount.
As advertised. Bring your appetite!
Let me start by saying that I’ve been to the sister Fogo in DC and it was an incredible experience!
My, our, experience in Tyson’s Corner was greatly disappointing. Simply put, while the salad bar was Fogo’s typical awesome experience, the meat was cold and over cooked, and the service was absolutely terrible. And with the service model used by Fogo that should be hard for a service professional to screw up. For example: after tasting the wine and deciding on a bottle the waiter simply forgot to bring the wine. When reminded he actually intimated that we hadn’t asked for wine, as if the two of us, customers by our own choice, were either senile or dishonest. When I pointed out the remnants of the wine we had tasted in a glass still sitting on the table he was at first surprised then mumbled something unintelligible. Also, when we asked for some horse radish sauce the waiter said “right away!” Then, after an extended period it hadn’t arrived, I asked a second time he apologized and asked if we still wanted it. It was now late and I was frustrated, so I said no and asked for a different waiter. A waiter named Ali arrived and saved the day. It was noteworthy that the table next to us had the same type of issue with our same initial waiter. He seemed to have an issue of some sort, and even acted as if he was somewhat stoned.
In the future I’ll only be going to Fogo in DC. And I’ll say thanks to Ali, our second waiter, for doing his job in great fashion!
Drink service was a little slow (10 minutes for 2 bottled Cokes), but other than that, our experience and food at Fogo de Chao was excellent.
Really nice the food had a lot of flavors
Excellent!!!!! Food and service are always good. Severs are the best, they always go above and beyond. I really recommend this restaurant.
Fantastic cuts, cook, and service
Seated right away with no reservation, food was amazing & great service. Dimmer lighting would make it more romantic but still had a wonderful time.
We must’ve hit them too early on a Sunday or they didn’t have a server assigned to our empty section. We had 1230 reservations for our party of 6 celebrating our daughter’s bday. They sat us right away but waited more than 10 minutes for a server. So my husband went up to the bar to order waters for the table. The bartender was very good he went to notify the kitchen or wait staff to get a server to wait on us once he noticed where we were seated. In the meantime, our section was still being set up and while they were moving a large bench to the table in front of ours, the staff knocked my chair with me sitting in it! He didn’t even give a second look or say I’m sorry. Bday lunch off to a very poor start! Disappointing for such a pretty decorated Fogo location.
The salad bar on Sundays is different. There was no beans but soup was good. Quality of the salad bar items was decent. The meats and side dishes took a while to come around to our section but once it did it was frequent. Meats were ok but over seasoned. Maybe we hit them on an off day? We are frequent customers. Been to all the locations in the DMV area. Tyson’s is the most modern decorated and most convenient but still requires fine tuning to bring it up to the caliber of the DC location.
It’s a lot of money to pay for mediocre service and over seasoned meat. We are taking a break from Fogo— atleast the McLean location.
Food excellent, but salad bar way too crowded... need to lengthen it if possible...
It was an excellent experience. The personal was incredible caring and diligent to serve us properly .
They asked how we like the meat cook and if we need drinks’s refill .
We were so happy with the service.
We’ll recommend the restaurant to friends.
great food! excellent service.
My waiter was excellent , valet was great the food was good but the spacing between tables were not the best. I had to walk around on the other sides to get to the salad table because there wasn’t any walking space. This place could have easily been a 5 star if they didn’t cram so many tables into one area.. so you can literally here everyone’s conversation.
Amazing experience, service exceptional. Food was well prepared, with excellent presentation.
It was good just very loud and sat a poorly located table so we left early due to not be able to hear each other
Good food. Amazing staff. I definitely would return to try more dishes.
I was our first time dining here, the place is very nicely decorated. We had dinner and celebrated Valentines Day. We were very happy with the food and the service that we received. I am happy to go
The food was salty, and only the plain filet steak was perfectly cooked. Everything else was mediocre to bad. The bacon wrapped filet should have been good too, but it was not apparently a filet cut from what I or my gf could tell. It wasn't edible. Stringy and tough.
The tables were packed in so closely that no one could easily move around the room. I once waited for several minutes to find an open path back to my table due to people always standing/walking in the very narrow space between tables.
They need soft bread as well. All they had at the salad bar area was hard, and after I went back 20 minutes later, there wasn't anything left until we left for the evening.
The servers were polite and friendly, but none attended to us nearly the entire time. I will say, though, that it was a very busy night.
And one final complaint is that sodas come in a can and have no refills. This might seem silly to some, but in America (especially at nice restaurants therein), you do NOT charge for refills of soda or tea. And although I don't mind a can if there are refills, it is definitely odd to serve a can in a nice restaurant.
Food was good, however, I was often skipped for meat selections even though my green card was facing up. Waiters were in a rush from table to table. Often bringing the same meats over and over, I didn't feel as much of a variety this time as last time. Would not come on Valentine's Day again but on another night.
Friendly and quick service from valet, checking in, seating and food serving.
Valentine’s Day dinner. Very crowded, but the staff was accommodating. Beautiful restaurant. The Market Table is the star!
It was great! Perfect Valentines day dinner. Food, waiters, ambiance, just EVERYTHING was great
Service has improved dramatically at this particular location. Our server Victoria was so sweet and made our pre Valentines Day date special. The meat service came right on time, every request came quickly. The restaurant is beautiful, that’s the reason we started coming here instead of DC. Now we visit bc of the service. Valet service for $5 is a nice treat.
Great experience! We can’t wait to go again. The service was great! Valet was inexpensive and very friendly.
The food was great, and service was very accommodating. I didn’t have one bite of food that disappointed.
Great food...wonderful variety of steaks....plus chicken and lamb! Wonderful salad bar, my favorite in the DC metro area. Top it all off with great drinks and fabulous service. Server Bryan made us feel like royalty for 2 hours! Great for groups and special events. Wonderful setting in an impressive open dining room with high ceilings and themed decorations. Can't wait to go again!
