Excellent service by both our server, Katie, and the manager, who made it a point to make sure we were having a great experience. There was music playing from a private party in the back that we could could definitely hear. Good thing I like it!

It was good. The customer service employee was amazing. She took care of us way more than our waitress. She was so sweet and humble. She got 50% tip from us.

Our waitress was terrible. She must have been new. Food was excellent like always. One of the managers had to come over and take our orders and bus the table. Otherwise ok.

The buffet was excellent and the roving servers offered excellent meats. Always like the pao de queijo! Drink service was very slow due to understaffing and a couple of large parties. Great experience, though.
Our server was nice and attentive. The food was really good and the assortment of meats was great. I also appreciated how we were asked if there was something specific that we wanted and they made sure that it was brought out.

We had some friends visit from out of town and were were looking for a special place to dine. Someone in the group suggested Fogo so we made a reservation and went.
Overall the food quality was very good. The market table had a wide selection of tasty items. I like the fig jam and smoked cheeses.
The table-side meet selection was excellent and the waiters were very attentive. The meats were cooked well except for the prime rib which was very overcooked.
The restaurant was clean overall except the seats at our table. They were extremely dirty and should have been cleaned prior to us sitting down. My wife’s seat was so dirty she had to go to the restroom and clean her clothing after sitting in her chair. Gross!
Tried the key like pie for dessert. It was very good.
Overall a good experience and a good time with friends.

The server wasn't the best at all, we had to ask for the mashed potatoes and cheese bread when normally it's just brought out when you order. Then we had to always stop him to get things we needed because he would never come by and check on us.

Came to celebrate a special occasion. Not the place it used to be. While the service of carved meats at the table side remains great, the service from the waitstaff is spotty at best, to non-existent. For the prices charged, the service is three notches below, the meat choices were very limited tonite, and the salad bar was meh (including no bacon). Not acknowledging our anniversary was the biggest disappointment of all.

Great night. Food was amazing and the drinks were made to perfection. However my bill was so high I almost passed out but I still enjoyed my experience and will be back once a year.

An excellent experience, especially for those with allergy concerns! My wife has celiac disease and this is a great place to get food without worrying about cross contamination or anything else!

Second time there, probably the last, I prefer Texas De Brazil. They advertised “Porterhouse” and when we asked our waitress she said they had some “up charge” meats but hasn’t heard of the Porterhouse. My wife mentioned it was advertised on the website and she literally rolled her eyes and grabbed someone I presume was a manager and said “can you talk to her about a porterhouse” and walked away! I understand staffing is an issue at most places but that was absurd. Other than that the place was “ok”. It was pretty busy for being 9:30pm and the meats were fairly slow coming around; only saw lamb chops once, I was fortunate enough to receive 2 of them!! I can think of several other places to drop $150 on a couple decent steaks and a drink.

Poor service had to ask for a manager 3 times for service. The servers continuously ignored our table. Went here for my anniversary and noted it on our reservation and it wasn't acknowledged whatsoever. Would not recommend this place if you're looking to celebrate a special occasion. Asked for medium well cuts of meat and kept being served medium rare. Not a good experience at all. I expressed that to management and no remorse was shown.

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday . This isn’t I first time but this is ONE OF OUR WORST EXPERIENCES! I paid fir the full experience and literally received 4 meats . Nobody was coming over to us. We felt very excluded . Our server tried her hardest but the gauchos refused to come to us for some reason . Plus this the second me complaining to management and they said they would send me a gift card for a meal and never did . I was 6 months pregnant with twins . My twins are born and are 3 months . Yea you do the math . NEVER RECEIVED IT

Take your appetite! It ends up being a very large meal. The variety is really nice. The service was great!
All around - worst restaurant experience in recallable history
Hosted birthday celebration for 9 people
As soon as we sat down, waters were brought, and as young man reached across table to set it down, he accidentally lost grip and entire glass was dumped across table and into my lap. I was soaked for the rest of the meal. Accidents happen, so I helped change out to new table cloth. Didn’t make any big deal for the benefit of the party. Never once did manager nor waitress say ‘we’re so sorry about that’.
If that was it - I would have moved on and not been upset - but it just got worse.
Waitress couldn’t be bothered to explain menu to diners, and never brought any QR slips so anyone could physically get menu. Had to go online and find it ourselves.
3 diners had individual ‘select’ meat options. By the time one got his meat - all other diners were basically done with their whole meal.
Wine ordered at beginning - we were 70% through meat course when it finally arrived.
Ordered coffee - they were OUT of regular coffee, decaf only available.
Dessert was a debacle, and never actually got to happen.
For a birthday dinner.
All this time - did even one manager even stop by the table? Nope. The place was not short staffed - there was staff all around the place, but apparently not for us.
I am the type that always overtips the waitstaff. They work hard in what is often a thankless job. I am also a pretty easy customer that doesn’t ask for much to be happy. But to feel that our entire party was absolutely neglected and - bottom line - poorly treated, in what is supposed to be a decently nice experience restaurant, I will never ever go back again.
If you like zero service, in a loud and chaotic environment, with just below average food for a comparatively not cheap price - then this is the place for you.
There are so many better options nearby - go to Eddie V’s, Capital Grille, Ocean Prime, etc. Same money for infinitely better experience. Live and learn.

The hostess was a little mean. Please turn THE AIR CONDITIONING ON. Omg it was beyond hot in there. plus everyone has the meat sweats.

This is one of my favorite places to go. We went this time to celebrate by 50th birthday and my daughters 21st. The waitress was very nice and she did a great job. The food which we did not see much of was great. We had to wait sometimes 10-15 minutes for someone to come over. We even had to ask for specific meats. After a long day of work and sitting so long we just ended our meal. This was the first time we left not over stuffed. And to top it off we were seated next to a stand were the staff did work and had a tray of glasses fall at us.
We will go back because it’s normally great but if this was our first time, it would of been our last.

It was one of the worst experiences in a churrascaria that I had in my whole life.
The service was really poor, not enough meat and when they arrive, it was well-done and/or dry. The only good things were the fried polenta and the banana.
I have been to the Fogo de Chao in Chicago, Las Vegas, and Sao Paulo, and all of them were very good. But the Troy one is really bad.

Enjoyed the restaurant experience. Servers and staff were friendly and helpful. Food was enjoyable although it felt at times as if there wasn’t enough meat available. Based on the nature of the experience, expected to have to tell servers to stop bringing meat. But that didn’t happen. Often we were waiting for servers to bring food.

Waited for over an hour past our reservation to be seated. After being seated the gauchos would walk past our table despite us having our cards turned up correctly, asking our server for food, asking the manager for food and literally standing and waiving our arms at them. This seems to be a trend as every time we have dined there the experience has been the same. When asked when we might be seated the hostess said she didn’t know and her suggestion was to arrive even earlier than we did. Last time we will go there…
