Very uncoordinated dinner atmosphere, very hectic and alot to take in as a first time customer. Felt like an overpriced buffet with undercooked tenderloin. Was really looking forward to this place so it was a let down. Cocktails, wine, and the chicken as well as the mashed potatoes were awesome, although you lost a star because the best dish at this “steakhouse” was the garlic chicken.
No guest should experience a hectic dining visit, so we apologize for this. We hope you decide to visit us in the future, as we are sure we can earn your complete satisfaction.
Always love Fogo de Chao. We went this time for my sons birthday and coincidentally it is restaurant week, which was a bonus. Service was amazing even with the socially distanced salad bar. It worked well!!
As soon as we sat down the people with the meats came to our table before we were even greeted by a server or knew what was going on. Too much going on at one time very confusing! We were never given the small red/green device being the meat was offered over and over and we couldn’t enjoy our drinks or convo, very frustrating! The food is great, but the experience was poor and again in the beginning very confusing with no direction! Not recommending the experience for anyone who asks.

With Covid the salad bar takes a long time with staff plating for you.
It’s understandable, just for anyone who is used to getting up multiple times and making a quick journey back... It’s not as quick my friend.

I tend to steer clear of non-traditional service style restaurants because the food quality can be all over the place and service is usually a huge miss. I was floored not only with the quality of the food (and, my gosh, it kept coming and coming), but with the level of service provided. Not only was our server fantastic, but the entire team was, well, a team! How rare that is to find. The entire staff never missed a beat and was constantly on top of every detail - from the management to the food serving staff, it was fantastic, and a real surprise in Scottsdale where the staff at most restaurants are often aloof, indifferent, and fairly lazy (harsh, I know, but as an industry manager I find it to be 100% true). My hats off to the entire team - I’ll be back just based on the experience alone.
Meats were hit and miss. Salad bar a solid B, but we were there for the meat. Signature steak Picanha and lamb excellent, sausages good. Chicken dry, prime rib tough/very well done. Sides were meh- garlic mashed, polenta and bananas barely luke warm and not much flavor. Service also sketchy; up to 10 minutes between server visits, but they were busy flying around our table to visit others. Kind of like we were invisible (just 2 of us). We'd been there for ~1 hour and mostly the same meats were offered over and over again....never saw pork ribs, beef ribs, lamb. Finally server asked if there was something we were looking for (lamb) and he made it happen. Also, weren't aware of the sauces until after we dined. Restaurant was very clean and staff was pleasant. It had been about 10 years since our last Fogo visit and definitely not as good/memorable as the half-dozen other times we dined there (at various locations). Too many better options to say we'll return again, but maybe just hit a bad night. Probably will give it one more chance b/c we love the concept.

Manager was wonderful and checked in with all of the seated parties. All of the staff were courteous and attentive. Best dining experience!
I booked this Saturday Brunch for my entire family before they left Scottsdale to go to Singapore. Both Norma and Carina were so so nice and attentive, like they always are. The kids absolutely enjoyed themselves, and so good to see my eldest grandson eat with such gusto. I thank Fogo for providing such a perfect venue for our family farewell brunch.
Always a great time with friends family or just for a date night. Well priced employees work together well as a team amd always have outstanding service.
Experience was 10/10, great service staff helped a lot when it came to asking how the food was, and anything we needed! Was talked into getting the wagyu beef and by far was not disappointed with the choice because it was top quality meat. Fogo made sure that our anniversary date was one it remember!

I love this restaurant but was a little disappointed that they reduced the selection of meats significantly. I’m not sure if it was because we went on a weekday night or if they have cutback due to Covid related issues.

wonderful experience. took foreverrrr to get the check but everything was eventually handled.
Poor service from the start. Horrible ambiance. Servers did not communicate well with us or each other. The “Market Table” (euphemism for salad bar) was over priced and under delivered. My wife had one bite of a beet from the salad bar and they em were going to charge her $31. I do not recommend. We went to Handle Bar AJ’s to eat afterwards!
They were very stingy about their relatively "expensive" cut and the service was very poor.
For the salad bar, you couldn't pick what you want and the server would just give you tiny little amount of stuff for what you like and recommend you a lot of things which you do not need at all, but make you full.
For the meat part, they discarded the green/red stuff and tried to stuff you with some cheap and not delicious meat for a quite long time, for example, pork, chicken, lamb not lamb chop...We couldn't stand for this behavior and asked them, do you have picanha, filet mignon, ribeye, etc. The first server did not come back for about 20 minutes. The second server brought picanha finally, then filet mignon, ribeye, after we started our meal for about 1.3 hours.
During the meal, the server asked us almost at the beginning, whether we wanted mashed potatoes, bananas, etc. We said no, but they brought these to us anyway.
The meat was plain, including picanha, filet mignon, ribeye...every meat was plain. They must used quite cheap meat, worse than what I bought from Kroger/Safeway/Costco. I have to say, these so called better cut is not really expensive at all but they still wanted to save as much money as possible.
But the price remained the same. What fools we were to let them make money from us. You could go if you want to offer money to them. But I think they are disgraceful and despicable.

This is the second time I dine at Fogo de Chão in Scottsdale and they forgot mentioning my son’s birthday even though I mentioned it on the app and when I called to make a change the same day.
Celebrating birthdays to the fullest is what we love to do, so we're sorry for any forgetfulness on our end. We hope you visit us once more, as we'd like the chance to make this right.

Surprising how crowded it was during COVID but they seem to have adapted. Disappointed that the salad bar is a fraction of itself but not much you can do. The wagyu beef was an expensive option but it's the best bed I've ever had. Loved the presentation

Dining and food was incredible. We had a reservation for 7:30 and waited 40 minutes for our table. That was pretty disappointing and defeated the purpose of a reservation. But our server and the taste made us happy and was a perfect ending to our vacation!
Took a while to receive our drinks. Ceaser Salad was so plain croutons where overly moist. Mash potatoes were cold some steaks weren’t seasoned.

Our experience at this location was TREMENDOUS. All of the service received was great but Nathan went above and beyond. He was over the top courteous and attentive. If you ever go to Fogo on the weekends, ask for him~~ you will not be disappointed. We are ready to go back!! Thanks for the great experience!
