Our server Norma was great. She was very helpful and kind. The ambiance was great for any occasion.
Overall the experience was very good. Service was great. Music a bit too loud throughout the dining room. The majority of the skewers were delicious but the chicken was very dry and so was the pork.
It was consistently that way when dining on New Year’s Eve.
Unbelievable as always. Parmesan Pork and the rib eye were amazing!! Nothing was short of perfect!!
Had a great time celebrating a birthday! Treated very well and great service.
Had a very good experience.
Food was very good, you have to like meat.
Wait staff was pleasant and attentive
It was our Anniversary! Everyone waited on you. The selection of sides were excellent. Wine also excellent. I highly recommend this place!
I had a great time but it was pretty pricey for what we got.
This place is top notch! Marco the manager does a fabulous job keeping everything running and everyone happy!
We enjoyed our dining experience very much. We thought that maybe they would offer less expensive cuts of meat first, then the nicer cuts after we were full but that wasn't the case at all. We also thought we would have to wait between offerings but again we were mistaken. The Brazillian cheese bread was amazing as was the service. We will definitely be dining again for another special occasion.
The service was spot on and without a doubt the best service you could ask for. The food, from the salad bar to the meats were prepared and cooked to perfection. We ate for hours!!!! Because it was Christmas Day (thank you for seating on Christmas) the price was the same throughout the day and it was worth every penny. Each and every staff member were so pleasant and made our experience above our expectations. Management was touching every table and checked on us throughout our stay. We were traveling for Christmas and we want to thank you for making our "away from home" Christmas dinner spectacular!
My fiancée, son and I went here for dinner on Christmas Day. The food was good and the meat a little overdone, but well-seared and served hot. The servers were outstanding! but the atmosphere is lacking. The place was too brightly lit and the tables and chairs placed so close togather it reminded me of a big cafeteria. My adult son had been ill and only ate a fraction of what he normally would. He had quite a bit of food left on his plates, especially the meat, and could not finish. I knew it would get thrown in the garbage, so I explained his situation and requested if there was some way they could take it in the back and package it so he could enjoy it when he was feeling better. I realize that was probably against the rules, however, I was hoping for a little professional courtesy. At $53 each, the fact that his leftover food was going to be thrown out was upsetting. (He only ate a couple bites of meat and a small amount of the food on his “sides” plate~the least they could’ve done was offer to charge him the Market price, at $23 less.) Also, the price of a 6-oz. bottle of Coke was $3.50 and he had two before we thought to ask and were told no free refills on soft drinks. So the total for his meager meal without tax/tip was $60! Also, no one explained there was rice, mashed potatoes, bean soup, and other hot food on the back bar behind the salads/cold items. They did bring a dish of mashed potatoes to the table which I thought came from the kitchen, and we didn’t discover the hot sides until we were leaving. Should we return again, I would just do the Market Place area. It had a decent selection of cold gourmet foods and I especially loved the cheeses, however, I would have liked to try the hot food also. Although other good buffets at the same price ($30) would also include all of the entrees, meats and desserts. If anyone could even handle dessert after trying to eat all the food that is offered, it is not included in the full meal price.
This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, unfortunately not so anymore. Went for lunch on Christmas day and was very disappointed. The service was terrible. Waited too long for meat to come to our table, waited for our check for over 10 minutes. The salad bar was fabulous, however the meat was not. Most cuts that I ate were tough. Even the Filet Mignon was tough. I don’t mind spending $117 for a meal if it’s fabulous, this meal was far from it.
Very Very Disappointed.
Christmas Dinner. Great food. Great Service. Met all of my expectations
We came for Christmas with 2 friends. It was great. I was able to see my 4 favourite staff, Marco, Carina, Chris, and Norma whom I have not seen for quite a while. Such a great opportunity to eat my favourite cuts of meat as well as catch up with the staff . Everyone had a fantastic meal. Thank you Fogo.
The buffet is not good as the one in rio...
We dined here right before Christmas with our family. Make sure you are hungry. Meats were all very good. Even though we turned our signals over to Red from Green I'm guessing green means go and red means stop they kept bringing a selection so I felt like we got rushed through our meal. Then I saw why....as we watched an entire football team come in to dine. After that we did not see another wait staff and had to ask several times to get our check. Now that I think about it we probably could have walked out they were so overwhelmed with 90 football players Marching In . So it's basically a cold Buffet cold salmon cold shrimp cold vegetables. The only other warm thing they serve with the meat looked like instant mashed potatoes . We were not impressed with that. So a family of four paid over $300 for dinner . so I will say that it is a very pricey place and something you do once for the experience. Having to tip over $60 based on the price seemed overwhelming .
We were so disappointed- had not been a n a while and things have changed. First the restaurant is empty and they seat us in the farthest back table with my 90 year old mom needing to walk so far and then back for salad. The salad bar is now 1/2 it’s size with nothing like it use to have. The meat was fatty and tuff. Maybe one or 2 pieces were actually able to eat all of. Won’t go back - rather buy one good piece of meat at that price point They didn’t have 2 wines I picked.
Great food and service!
Food and service was impeccable! My sister had an amazing birthday dinner.
On behalf of the team at Lakeview at the Bay, thank you very much! We really enjoyed our Staff Christmas Party and this will be two years in a row!
Food is fresh and excellent. Only had the salad bar and even that was almost too much food. Service was ok and seemed like they forgot about us. Overall though, an enjoyable experience.
This is one great place to have a Sunday Brunch. My husband loves their Market Table, and I come for their Lamb Chops. We always have very good service, thanks to Marco, Chris and Carina. They know what we like, and our drinks and Lamb Chops are on the table promptly. It is a joy to come here hungry and leave satiated and feeling cared for. Thank you guys.
The food is absolutely delicious and very well prepared. This is great dining for a special occasion.
Felt rushed - from the moment we walked thru the door. Bar was crazy and understaffed - drinks mediocre - just had one. Meat was good and plentiful. Honestly - if the drinks were decent - I would have enjoyed the experience more.
We are regulars! This place has great food and service. Marco is amazing as he ensures each table is having an awesome experience. We will continue to celebrate special occasions here with friends and family . Good food and Good service are hard to find and we found it at Fogo De Chao Scottsdale.
I have been to many Brazilian steak houses and unfortunately this was the worst. Overly bright lights, rushed and confused service, compounded with sound so loud you couldn’t hear the person next to you.
Here were my observations
While salad bars are pretty common with Brazilian steak houses, this one was disappointing. Caesar salad was bad. I have seen grocery store salad bars that were better.
We started off with one waiter, then an expediter moved him to a different section and awkwardly tried to transition to another. He was abrasive and not concerned about the customer. We were happy with the original person and communicated as much, but still ended up with someone else. Not good. It felt like buying a set of tires and being switched to a different brand.
The noise level was incredibly loud and the entire place felt like dining in a cafeteria. Banging plates constantly.
Lighting was way too much. Too bright, too cafeteria.
We were constantly asked how is everything. Not once, not twice, but every interaction. It seemed like the manager was trying to keep his job, as this was multiple servers, multiple times
The price. Dear Lord...for the price you pay, you could go to Ruth’s Chris Steak House and get so much better. Way overpriced. Lamb was ok, filet was awful, chicken was dry , and the sausage simply wasn’t very good.
Damage for this experience was over 230 dollars for two people, not including tip. Seriously . For this amount of money, go a few doors down to Paul Martin’s for a nice meal, attentive service and a price far below this tourist trap.
50th birthday celebration.
Amazing food! Amazing service! Would go back again. It is expensive, but worth the price. Only negative is they could lose a few tables to make the experiance more enjoyable. Very cramped. You can hear neighbors talk. Not a first date place due to the lack of intimacy.
We had an excellent dinner. Everything was so tasty. We felt a little rushed to begin our salad and dinner experience. I would have liked to enjoy a caipirinha first but wasn’t offered that option. Otherwise, it was a great night! The food can’t be beat!!
Absolutely loved it! The food is amazing and the service is impeccable
Overpriced golden corral. Onlkt one cut of meat was good. It has never been the same since it was sold. Went once right after the sale, then forgot it had been sold.
Outstanding in every way. Thank you.
great dinner and service. everything went well and we had a great time
Amazing food and service decently will return! I believe everyone should experience this place as least once!
Went for Thanksgiving. The atmosphere felt kinda like a Scottsdale Golden Corral . Very busy (that could be due to the holiday) bright lighting. Don't expect romantic. The food overall was good. Wonderful selection at the market table (buffet). I guess I was expecting better meat . They really pushed the sirloin. I was interested in the beef ribs (awesome, if you could get it) and the lamb ( asked 4 times and never got the lamb chop), i did have some leg of lamb that my husband and I couldn't t tell if it was lamb it was so mild. The lamb loin at least tasted like lamb, but was overcooked. Parmesan crusted pork was dry as sawdust. Sausage links were good. basically, you have to ask (and ask) for the good stuff. If you have the stamina to wait for the less popular meat and don't stuff yourself on the market table, it could possibly be a good deal. Otherwise get ready to empty your wallet.
Wonderful food as always. Confused though because it was Thanksgiving and the ad looked like they had turkey but there wasn’t any
Set your expectations accordingly if you visit on Thanksgiving or Christmas day. Staff doesn't want to be there, service is lackluster at very best. I sat at the table after the meal for 30 minutes waiting to get my credit card back. They gave me a 25$ gift card. It was a 300$ bill with the 20% tip because I always make sure the servers are taken care of. Management at this location should pay attention.
This place is excellent if you know how to eat at a churrasco. Skip the salad bar unless there are some specific items that you want like artichoke hearts or olives. Trust me when I tell you the prosciutto and the smoked salmon are not what you think they are... Perhaps a 3 on a 10 point scale. Skip all chicken, dry and not worth what you pay. Go easy on the instant mashed potatoes and the cheesy bread. And keep asking for them to bring you the filet mignon. They will nod their heads and proceed to bring 7 other heavily salted meats but never the filet. Ask again. And again. Until they bring it. And then ask them to bring it again. Yes it's pretty good as is the sirloin.
Skip dessert. Another previously frozen boxed specialty of the house. And beware the $16 mixed drinks and glasses of mediocre wine.
In summary, if you want all-you-can-eat filet and sirloin and are disciplined, it might be worth your trip. Otherwise consider the supermarket.
The service was excellent and it was obvious that the staff are indeed working as a team. They were attentive, skilled and personable yet professional. They made every effort to make sure the dining experience was positive.
