We weren’t given the flip chips for the meat
Struggled to get waters and drinks. Had asked to taste the lamb and it never came around. They kept switching us servers so they weren’t organized or forgot about us.
If I’m spending hundreds of dollars on a party of 6, then this should be corrected. I never got to try that lamb.
Way over booked hade to wait over 1 hour to be seated at a 2 Reservation will be checking this one off in never going back

It was mother day and super busy. They were really overload and it showed in there service
Having a reservation means nothing so that really sucks but the food is good.
Excellent first experience in person and everyone was extremely helpful and worked their tails off the whole time. Was a great experience.
Great food in a very crowded restaurant
Appeared to be a lot of inexperienced staff. Servers didn't know how to fill glasses without spilling/dripping all over the table and on side dishes. Even when they saw what they had done, they would turn a blind eye and move onto the next table. So, we asked to have our iced tea laden mashed potatoes and water-logged pao de queijo replaced... TWICE! We didn't complain, though, and just asked to get new ones brought to the table.
The desserts we ordered almost slid off the plate as they were being placed before us, as the server was in such a rush. Clean dishes still had pools of water on them as they were exchanged, and churrascos were inattentive and kept skipping our table despite all of our cards "showing green" (there were 4 of us) so we had to constantly flag them down.
We also saw a server accidentally place the bill folder onto a strawberry cheesecake and then when he realized it, he promptly wiped off the bill folder and still went on to serve that now "contaminated" cheesecake to a fellow diner. Truly appalling!
All that aside, I must say that the food was good. I liked the mask and glove requirement at the salad bar and everything appeared to be fresh.
There was no social distancing whatsoever and restaurant was packed- tables were placed close together once again... back to their pre-pandemic floor plan and to the point where servers couldn't figure out the correct bill the 1st or 2nd time and kept giving us someone else's bill.
This is one of my favorite restaurants and I hate to be so critical. However, I really hope they can get their act together and I must concur with other reviewers here that the service definitely isn't up to par with the prices we're paying for the "experience."
It's disheartening to learn that we let you down, as you should always be provided with attentive and diligent service. We hope this doesn't keep you away, as we'd love to make this right in the future.

Excellent. The service and good has been so great that we have been back twice in 3 days. Alex and Mark are the best Gauchos on the planet. We always get exactly what we want selection wise.

The attention to our table wasn't the best. Took forever for them to bring the meat. We were celebremy birthday and they just printed a paper that wasn't even well cut that said happy birthday
They were so behind on reservations. The host was unorganized. Had no concept of time management or how to even direct everyone that was waiting. There were on average 4 empty tables we could see that they weren't even trying to sit people at(no they weren't blocked off for covid). Finally get seated. Out waitress was horrible. We didn't even get her name. She came to our table 3x the whole night. We had to start asking other waitresses for the things we asked ours for. Norma and Carina (who I think is a manager) were amazing. They went above and beyond to help who's section it was, because she had no idea what she was doing either. She had a bad attitude and was never in a good mood when she walked by. We had to ask for all of the "appetizers " that are normally brought shortly after you're seated. This is the worst Fogo we've been to. My boyfriend and I have been to 9 other Fogos and have never had this poor of an experience. Marcus from the kitchen was also more help than our waitress as well. The 3 of them should get a bonus!

It was my wife’s birthday and we decided to celebrate at Fogo De Chao, never been there before. Overall was amazing, i understand we had to wait 40 min to get seated but on saturday night that can happen. We loveeeeddd the food, so delicious worth the money paid. Definitely will be back 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Great salad bar as always. Meats prepared well. It’s been a while since I’ve been to a fogo de chao, but there have been greater selections and the frequency was poor. Perhaps it was because we arrived at opening but the dining room was full in 20 minutes. It was good but not as good as I had experienced before. And it’s in Scottsdale!!!

The only suggestion I have would be to add the grilled pineapple that other Brazilian Steak houses usually offer, we love it and missed it here because they didn’t have it.
This is my husbands favorite place, this FOGO was very different from the ones we have been at. Dinner was 8 and the place was so bright and loud it felt more like a buffet. The meat we had was okay, honestly I did not enjoy myself at this FOGO location.

Our party of 4 was seated and before we were offered water or asked about drinks the waiter asked us several times if we were going to for the meat experience? Since I had never dined here before I had no idea what he was talking about. Nor did he give us any menus. It seemed a lack of training. Some of the meat was very tasty but most of it was Sirloin which is not a cut I think of for a Steak experience. The lamb was tasty as was the filet. The salad bar was large with a lot of different items. I was really disappointed in the Caesar salad, it was soggy with no flavor. The popovers on the table were terrific. Overall it was a nice experience with out friends but once was more than enough for us as a dining experience.

Server was annoyed because she had been working all day and couldn’t handle a double shift making excuses about having a 1,000 + customers that day. She had verbaly gave us information regarding the menu and what would be brought to us at the table. The manager then came to communicate the correction about the server bringing us rice and beans instead of us having to get up and grab it from the market table. The server than apologized and said things change everyday here. Server was great she just couldn’t handle a double that day.
We had a 7:30 reservation. We arrived at 7:15. Very large crowd waiting outside for seating. Asked the nice girl who was one of the hostess how long was the wait. She said they were running a little behind. We weren’t seated until 8:30. The service was slow. The food was good but the overall experience was terrible. I don’t recommend this place
Had a 730 reservation and didn’t get sat down until 830. Waiter was barely at the table. They never brought over all the different types of meat. Maybe got 40 dollars worth of food and service. Not 60.

We had reservations for a specific time and arrived on time. Stood there for about 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Then waited another 20 minutes while there was PLENTY of tables available. The place was a mess compared to the previous time we visited. Service was terrible.. Told the wait staff how we liked our meat cooked. ever since that they barely came around and then gave us an attitude when we asked for well done. Needless to say we wont ever go back there again.. Not worth the price at all.

The food and service was simply, outstanding. After reading a few negative reviews prior to going, I must say, totally disregard petty complaints, if you read them, and enjoy the experience. The customer service specialist made us feel right at home and the service was fast and enjoyable.
There were so many over the top flavorful choices of meats to pick from. Wow. WELL WORTH THE PRICE.

This place has turned into a churn and burn. Rushed dining experience. There is no enjoying a nice meal. Super hectic vibe and not relaxing. Food was average.

Fogo De Chao in Scottsdale really needs improvement of service. Their round of meat serving was not coming enough and we had to wave or ask them to come over. The price is not cheap and I expect better service.
This is not the first time I experienced the same issue. Each time, I visited, it is always the same. And now I do not expect to go back to see the better service next time.
