   Overall a nice event. Definitely enjoyed the selection of premium bourbons and ryes. I was very happy with the two I drank (Basil Haydens, Piggy Back Rye). Overall, the food bites were terrific-- charcuterie, grilled cheese, bacon wrapped steak and chicken, pao de queijo, etc. This disappointing part of the food, were the two features meats- bone in ribeye and dry aged tomahawk. There was no fanfare when serving these-- I asked the service what the cut was and thought he said "omaha", but in retrospect it must have been "Tomahawk". when the bone in rib eye was served, it was simply called "rib eye". . .so until the end of the event, it wasnt at all clear what the featured bites were. Additionally the tomahawk and rib eye were cooked past medium-- more cooked that meat at Fogo is normally served. I arrived at 6:25 and checked in the host stand and was told that I was "the first to arrive and I'd be called when they started seating for the event". My friend and I stood in a very crowded small waiting area (due to construction) for 15 minutes-- when I checked back in the host stand, I was then told they were seating for the event but there were two tables ahead of me. It just seemed odd to be kept waiting for an event that was suppose to start at 6:30/ The raffle was a nice addition. Overall, it was a nice event, and well worth the $45 price. I will most likely attend anotherone in the future.

   We had a wonderful dinner because of the efforts of Rachael the manager who made certain everything we wanted was made perfectly. Max, who is a fabulous customer service rep who made us feel so valued as well as Eddie & our favorite gaucho Hector.

   Cuts of meat were not the best. Slammed with meat for the first 10 minutes then nothing, had to constantly ask for something to be brought to us and then wait a long time. Since I was eating salad bar items when they started bringing meats I didn’t hardly get anything because I wasn’t ready at first and then service was sparse. Food quality has gone down hill.

   There is a great price increase this time. eg. the original add on steak to market table was $11 , now it is $14

   I had my reservation at 8:30 PM. I arrived at 8:00 PM. It was 9:00 PM and they didn't assign me a table. The hostess just looked at me and talked to the other two. A waiter who already knows me was the one who assigned me a table. They never told me my table.

    Our dinner was fabulous. Andres the manager made sure everything was wonderful. Gaucho Hector brought out our meats made just perfectly. Max also made sure we had everything we wanted. The dining experience was the best. All beef ribs & filet mignon & salad bar was excellent. Highly recommend trying this restaurant because you will have the best experience you could wish for.
