Unfortunately, the food at Fogo de Chao is not as good as it used to be. Majority of the cuts are tasteless, looks like they are cooked in a hurry, hence their lack of flavor. We visited Fogo de Chao in February and had a similar experience. I had the opportunity to visit Fogo de Chao in Brazil several times, when the Scottsdale location was opened the food was superb. Hopefully they improve their quality soon.

Food was not as good as usual and the service wasn’t either. Never got my drink and the manager brought us our sides at the end of the meal. Overall it was not the great and fun dining experience I am used to at Fogo.

Very expensive.
Loud.
Buffet for salad.
Small sides delivered tableside.
Not very much variety.
Lamb tasted terrible.
Felt rushed.
Celebrated a birthday- no candle or anywhere special— order a dessert off the menu and nothing special about it.
Will not be back

Stopped in for Restaurant Week this past Saturday. I have always believed that no matter how busy an establishment may be, customer service should never be compromised. I am pleased to say the customer service provided by Karina upon arriving was top notch. How she kept a warm, smiling face amidst all of the surrounding chaos is astounding. We also appreciated the plethora of servers asking how our meal was throughout our dinner. They offered to clear out empty plates, refill our waters, and ask to see if there was a specific type of meat we wanted brought over. Kudos to Fogo de Chão for taking care of us! We will be back. :)

Food always stellar. We came for restaurant week to enjoy The great deal. We did but two expensive bottles of wine. And the wine service presentation was a missed opportunity. I'm not sure if decant or what price point. These we 80.dollar bottles of wine? The desserts we're good just very small for what you got. It seemed like an after thought on for the restaurant week. Manager came by couple times. Very nice. Overall will be back, just maybe not during restaurant week

We used to go to Fogo for special occasions and it was always a favorite. The food as well as the service has declined. We will not be returning. The meat tasted old and tough, the service was poor, our server made numerous mistakes, and even when we complained to the manager, they didn't do anything about it. It is too bad, but don't waste your money. It isn't worth it.

It was like Disneyland in there; utter chaos. Very loud, children everywhere, a log jam at the salad, appetizer bar that needed a patrol person, The salad bar basically looked like something from a Las Vegas casino...the caesar salad tasted like it had bottled dressing (disappointing) better yet you should get rid of the salad bar because it's a public health disaster waiting to happen with all the hands, children and people swarming.

lighting was too bright (fix the lighting in that place), ceilings so high that impacted the noise level... and majority of tables in one large room made it feel like a hospital cafeteria.

Despite my chagrin, the meats were surprisingly excellent, and the staff who administered them were very good. Mashed Potatoes were bland and had too much pepper. Music was crazy (not well thought out) and impacted the noise levels. Overall, the whole
place is too commercialized, I know they are popular but just as much as a rainforest cafe and look how that worked out. There you have it.

We went for restaurant week and it includes a dessert. The portion of the dessert was ridiculousness. It like they took a normal slice of cheesecake and cut it into thirds and you got a third of a slice it was like sliver of a piece. The food & service was good. Although you have to pay extra for the filet and finer cuts of meat and they don't bring it around till the end of the meal.

We ordered the Restaurant Week special menu. We’ve always enjoyed the dinners during Restaurant Week until Fogo de Chao. Because we were using this special, we were not allowed the better cuts of beef, pork and lamb. Therefore, the beef was very tough to the point of inedible. The one cut of pork was okay as was the one cut of lamb. I feel this place abused the draw of Restaurant Week. We will not return. Shame on you.

Went for a birthday dinner and realized they were running a special for restaurant week. All 5 of us ordered this and were told it did not include filet, lamb, and ribs, which wasn't a deal breaker. We didn't realize that it did not include chicken, pork, or sausage either. After dining for 1 hr I ended up with 4 slices of sirloin. We kept asking out waiter and gauchos to bring more variety around but they never did. The manager offered to comp us desserts which was nice. Gauchos were walking around with all different meats but would not stop at our table. Seems like if you ordered the special you were avoided except for the sirloin. Market table was good.

Normally have a great experience. This time however we did not. Felt like they didn’t have enough ppl working and food was very slow to come around. When food did come around our table seemed like it was last and had scrapes from left over tables.

The restaurant looks fancy. The server was very friendly. Our food was good. However, we were surprised to see an extra $21.50 charge for the shrimp cocktail. We were explained the experience, and we can eat as much of the meat as we want. However, no one told us the shrimp cocktail they bring around is extra. If the experience is all you can eat, you should explain to your customers, especially for first timers if something is going to be brought out but for extra charge.

This was not a restaurant for our tastes. Huge, noisy dining room. Exceptional unlimited salad bar. Very good wine selection. Excellent service. But we found the Brazilian meats disappointing. Very crowded and people kept bumping into our chairs. If the idea of servers in gaucho pants serving slice of meat from a sword is irresistible you will like it. If quiet sophistication is more your style, I wouldn't recommend it.

I don't know if they were overwhelmed with numbers of customers, but there were not enough servers and the girl who immediately met us at our table and said she would be taking care of us was nowhere to be seen after that introduction. The first thing we learned was that the top three meat choices were NOT available to Restaurant Week patrons. The quality of the meat that was available was not good........tough and hard to cut. Chicken was overcooked. Was hard to get the attention of servers to get garlic potatoes and some fried cheese. The size of our key lime pie could not have been any thinner or it wouldn't have been able to stand on plate! Very bad experience, but learned to never come back!

It took a long time to get anything to drink including water and I had to ask the bus person for the water. At the end another person came up to us not the original server amd asked about dessert and then dealt with our bill which was higher then it should have been given the prom at $44 per person, i was charged $56 per.
Overall it was very good food just not the greatest service and very misleading.

This was the worst experience ever. My husband and I had been to several Fogos but this one did not feel comforting or enjoyable. They rushed us in everything and felt like we couldn’t relax. And food was awful!!! Soupy potatoes and meat wasn’t as yummy as before. Will not return!

It's neat to see that they have brought an interesting gimmick to the table wherein you can select your grilled meats with the "emperor of rome" attitude and a wave of your hand for either "yes I desire that lamb" or "no, I do not find that I have an appetite for that sirloin" etc.
That's probably a unique and positive thing, but what I don't like about it is that it's the opposite of what America probably needs right now. We as a country eat way too much meat and it's killing the environment and our own health. Granted meat is zero carb but still not healthy to eat that much meat. If you want to go here once in a while for a special occasion, do it. They do a great job. Don't get me wrong, the meats were really good! The salad bar needs a little more salad, but was well stocked with (surprise) cold meats and that was tasty. But overall this is just not my scene.

We went to Fogo to celebrate our 30th anniversary of meeting each other. It was our first visit to Fogo but won’t be or last.

Our server Brandon was excellent. He was attentive without being overbearing. I was deciding between two wines and the sommelier was right on with the choice. The food was outstanding and it just keeps coming.

The atmosphere is lively with the gauchos bringing food but is a pleasant busy.

One thing I would change would be an item on the dress code. There were multiple diners wearing baseball caps. That detracts from the atmosphere

On our anniversary, we were asked if this was a special occasion and mentioned it was our anniversary so server told us to save room for a big piece of cake. When the meat-toting gauchos finally arrived, I asked for medium meat but was consistently given end pieces of shoe leather, but tasty shoe leather. Our water glasses were never filled by the roving servers over a 1-1/2 hour period and that cake was never served, proving how disjointed their wait staff is. We will not return. The next time we want a Brazilian steakhouse meal, we will visit Serra Gaucha in Peoria.
