El primer restaurante Fogo de Chao en Puerto Rico se ubica en Paseo Caribe, en el corazón de la zona más nueva de San Juan. Fogo forma parte de un proyecto nuevo integrado por restaurantes, tiendas, hoteles y viviendas que se está transformando rápidamente en un sitio elegido tanto por los habitantes locales como para quienes vienen de visita.     Greetings, Terrible experience on Father’s Day. My family and I are regulars (and I only mention this for relevance purposes) and we decided to celebrate Father’s Day on a nice restaurant we usually enjoy. I made the reservation with a week in advance and it was a surprise for my father, obviously. When we got there at our reserved time, the hostess named Mairelys treated us horribly and told us to wait or leave. The wait time was 1 hour and she was very hostile about it. I understand it’s a busy day and a special occasion, but I expect my reservation time to be respected and it wasn’t. They had given our table to walk-ins and then made us wait for a service we had reserved. If the reservations weren’t going to be respected, why offer the option? This is the first time something like this happens to us, and especially in this restaurant. We didn’t leave because we had no other option and every other restaurant was full due to the occasion (We called other restaurants in the area and they actually respected their reservations because we were told as such). In addition, when our table was “available” (we waited an hour) we were treated with the upmost disrespect by the waiters/servers. (Reservation: 5:30pm, Table available: 6:45pm) Everyone serving us was rude and pressuring us to finish quickly. We felt unwelcomed and rushed. There were 2 servers that were okay, but in general, the rest were extremely unprofessional. On top of it all, the food was terrible. The buffet was short of everything and it all tasted old. They were overcapacity because we could barely stand up and to get a waiter/waitress to attend us took more than 10 minutes. To conclude, my family and I are so disappointed that we are not coming back. They didn’t ruin Father’s Day due to our capability of optimism, but they got close. They definitely can’t handle pressure, it’s a shame how this restaurant limits its potential. We’ll stick to Morton’s! Thank you for reading. Have a good day!

    A pesar de que fue el día de Padres y estaba full, el servicio fue genial. Los meseros y el servicio estuvo estupendo. Me atendió Dwight, excelente experiencia.

    We had to wait an hour after my reservation time. I know it was Father’s Day, but if they are not going to be able to respect the reservation time on busy days, they should not accept reservations. The servers were very overwhelmed, they were trying to do their best, but it was impossible. The customer service employee was very rude when we ask to speak with the manager. The manager, José, was very approachable and manage our concerned to our satisfaction. My mayor critique was the issue with the reservations. I like this restaurant, food is good, normally they have good service, but I will never go back again in a busy time like yesterday.

    Food was good but services was very bad, we did not get ask if we wanted drinks and we had to constantly let the waiter know that we needed at least water for our table. Most of the glasses had little bugs, and the waiters got mad when we requested a change in the glasses. There were also flies in the buffe area.

    An outstanding experience—every time! Fogo de Chão San Juan continues to be a hidden gem. The service, ambiance, and quality of food are consistently exceptional. It’s always a pleasure dining here—truly one of the best culinary experiences on the island.

    Muy rico todo!! Lo único es que cuando pican la carne lo estaban haciendo un poco rudo o rápido esto hace salpicar sangre o grasa de la carne a tu ropa Comparando Texas de Brasil con Fogo de Chao. Texas de Brasil le doy (B) y a Fogo de Chao le doy (A) es un poco más caro pero los vale

    Tuve una experiencia maravillosa en este restaurante. La carne estaba deliciosa. Además, la atención al cliente fue impecable: el personal fue muy amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Me hicieron sentir muy bienvenida desde que llegué hasta que salí. Christian nos hizo sentir muy bien nos dio el cheesecake por la casa ya que era mi cumpleaños y primero vez visitando, definitivamente no será la ultima vez. Definitivamente volveré y lo recomiendo a cualquiera que busque buena comida y un servicio de calidad.

    Amazing experience as always. Service wasn’t amazing at first as one of the people in my party asked for a sprite and had to ask again multiple times to finally receive it. Other than that, everything went smoothly. Christian and Alexander were some of the multiple kind, respectful, and even entertaining/funny waiters we had come to our table to bring us different cuts.
