By far this is the best place I have been to. Be prepare to eat as mich as you can, you will want to taste everything.

The red meat (beef) was the best of all, specially the "costilla", and the only 2 sides which were really good were the fired bananas with polenta and the mashed potatoes. I will only recommend the restaurant for the meat.

Wine was bought almost after we finish having dinner (so we eat with no wine, just water); professional waiters should know that they cannot bring the food to the table if the wine is still missing; waiter needs to clean/wash his hands (and under his nails please!) before service is offered and do not touch the paper menus all the time while explaining the system. We were never offered the rice and beans which was included in the price, and the salads were quite poor. All that needs to improve.

First off even though the patio was completely empty and we had a 530 reservation we were seated by the curb probably 6 inches away from passing cars. Secondly we were served our meat entrées before salads. When the salads did finally come we weren’t giving clean plates instead of the salad was put on top of the steak which saturated the salad. We were never offered any vegetables even though we requested vegetables they never came. Our waitress was awesome however the experience was terrible for the amount of money we paid for the experience which obviously was horrible. Very disappointing since I’ve been to this restaurant in other places across the US but the one here on Santana Row was certainly the worst. I understand we’re trying to work with Covid but this was ridiculous

Went during COVID. Will definitely come back to try the salad bar experience b/c even though servers were bringing out their options for you to try I've been to other steakhouses like Taurinius who have amazing salad bars with buffet portions. Having them bring it to you means you get less food and less options. Understand that needs must while social distancing, however.

Meat was amazing, of course, and service was impeccable. They were also able to get us seated though we arrived half an hour early for our reservation, which was a plus. They seated us in this overflow area off to the side. Not the best accommodations and I did see one or two groups ask for different seating. My family wasn't so picky and the servers were very attentive throughout so I don't think we were neglected at all.

The outdoor/pandemic experience was fine. W/exceptions to a limited salad bar, the experience was as expected. Although staff added an extra item to my bill which I caught after payment, they took care of the issue by offering me a GC.

Great food! Fantastic selection of different cuts and types of meat prepared perfectly! We have visited now several times and although the pandemic made our last experience "different" (mandatory masks, no salad bar, seating configurations etc) the quality of the food and service were thankfully unchanged! Food and service were both as good as ever and our server Mariline was warm and friendly and happy to see us back! We'll definitely be returning soon! Bonus tip: Vegan options are very limited ;)

Great first time experience. Food was good just not as readily available as I would like. We had a party of 6 and the food skewer brought to us was only enough to feed 4 of us at a time so some had to wait.
Other than that, it was fun to do. I would visit again.

1st I do understand that covid changed everything and the challenges... But the service was terrible. I did not got offered most of the available food that was being served. Some of the good stuff such as polenta frita was not available. I had to ask 4 times for rice and beans at Fogo de Chao.... Not having the buffet is a HUGE negative and the workaround that was created it is terrible.
But the thing that really frustrate me was the meat. Most of them was totally unsalted...
As a Brazilian would feel ashamed in recommending it to anyone. To pay that much for such a bad experience.

We were here for my birthday dinner and everything was great! I was always a fan of Fogo de Chao prior to COVID19 so I did not have high expectations with the new changes they had to apply. However, they went above and beyond my assumptions! Service was great and attentive. I really do miss the salad bar but appreciated receiving a plate with a sampler of all of their goodies! Meats came out pretty quickly and were all well-seasoned. All levels of doneness were offered for the beef. I also got the creme brûlée as my birthday dessert, which was the perfect end to our meal. I was very impressed with the way the restaurant staff carried out the safety precautions.

Fun experience for a Wedding Anniversary lunch. Despite being Covid challenged at this time, the serving staff were well prepared while the seating was comfortable and outdoors but under some cover though there were a few bugs to contend with. I went with the grilled meat service my wife tried the Chilean Sea Bass plate - both selections were great - the (normally self-serve) salad bar selection was controlled by the wait staff who collected then delivered your requested selections. The service was superb, the food and drinks were delicious, the celebration flan was awesome, the price was reasonable and we had a great time. Highly recommended

My yearly birthday outing with my old buddies at Fogo. As always, top notch experience. Our service staff, Helen, Victor and manager Guillermi were fabulous. Even with the outdoor seating where the buffet inside was not open to patrons, they did a good job bringing the buffet salads, vegetables and hor d'oeuvres out to the tables.

For the first half hour, no beef products came around just lamb and pork. When they finally came around, they were all over cooked. After I requested medium rare beef items then it got better. Service was good not great. We were celebrating a birthday. Server told us he would bring a birthday dessert but it never happened and we never saw that server again for the rest of the meal. Ambiance was ok given Covid has forced everybody to eat outside but the idea of paying $65 to eat by the loading dock seemed out of place. All things considered, it was ok experience though I probably won’t go back until I can eat indoors or on the actual patio.

Good food (although I had better market table food at different Fogo de Chao locations), very good service, nice ambient and good music. Would recommend to celebrate special occasions. Be aware it will be pricier than most places you go to though.
Note: what you served as "Feijoada" is actually black beans with a little bit of pork in it. This dish has a lot of room to improve, especially considering some people go for the market table only because they don't feel like eating a lot of meat but could use some Feijoada.

Fogo always has amazing food, but what stood out was the service! Everything is serviced table side now but sometimes when a specific thing is not being presented often you are still allowed to ask, and they come right to you. For me I requested a cheese plate and more cuts of beef. Thank you for making our experience awesome

The default dining experience is buffet. So when we were offered salads and meats, it was in line. We were also offered a nice serving of shrimp and drink samples. Awesome, right? Wrong. We got hit with $65 extra cost when we got the bill.

Also, they bring some salads out (just once). Had to ask for more. On my way to the restroom I saw the richness of other salads offering inside (they can’t allow people in for food). Turns out I could have asked for hearts of palm, asparagus and lots of other goodies. They just didn’t bother bringing it out or letting us know what we can ask for.

Lastly, the meat was substantially less tasty than last few times we went.

I get that these are difficult times, and that restaurants need to figure out how to cut costs and increase earnings. But I’m not going back, probably ever.

What a great way to celebrate my birthday. We love dining there. The experience was great, despite the differences forced because of COVID. My only complaint is the cuts of meat were a little disappointing. I like Med-rare. I would either get very rare where the meat was a deep dark red or well done. Maybe it was where the server was slicing the meat? Other than that, our experience was great as usual.
