Server really impacts the experience. Ours wasn't that great this time. No acknowledgement of special occasion and we rarely saw her. Had to ask manager for the bill.

Food and service are good but this time there are many black flying insects around our brunch table. They even flew into the drink. Waiters said the restaurant tries to remove them but didn't help much. I don't know what type of insects. Not flies
We were not sure about Fogo de Chao for Thanksgiving Dinner, but our party of 8 had a wonderful time. We were able to sit out on the patio, which was our preference, and it seemed more relaxed than the packed tables inside. Because of the crowds, the salad bar was at times needing replenishing, but that is our only complaint. The Thanksgiving spread was perfect for those that really wanted the traditional fare. Overall, we loved it and this might become a tradition for Thanksgiving.
Table was ready by Reservation time. After being sat, was immediately being assisted by our Server.

With Covid, i was very surprised how packed it was. Tables were so closed together that there was hardly room to walk between tables to get to the buffet. We had a table for 2 that was so tight that I had to move every time patrons and servers passed by. It was ridiculous so we had to ask to be moved to another table. The hostess did say that they overbooked that’s why it’s so crowded. I think they broke some covid rules.

All was good as per usual. One thing missing: the lamb wasn’t served when we were there. I only remembered when we left. Other than that, it was good.
This was the most ridiculous experience I had in Pandemic. I booked outdoor dining since I had an elderly person with me. I noted in my booking and called to confirm that we are getting outdoor table. Nope. As we arrived, we were told that there’s no available table outdoor and that we had to sit inside. Moreover, they cancelled our booking on Open-table so that we can’t write a review. This is our 2nd visit to Fogo de Chao Santana Row. Every visit, I realized, please don’t go however you are desperate. Go to other location or other restaurants. Fogo de Chao SF was 1000% better and cleaner. Fogo de Chao Santana row was crowded, no vaccine record checking, filthy toilet, and rude. We had to sit indoor and weren’t served until we complained.

We went for an early Thanksgiving. Great food, solid service. Wonderful night.
The table waiter was great; however the front hostess was not friendly and not welcoming at all.
Please know that what you've described is not in line with our high standards, as we believe in offering polite, respectful service. We will certainly go over this with our team so that future experiences are worthy of five stars.
For a set price of $65 per person I was greatly disappointed with the service. Our server was not attentive at all and we had to ask a manager to help get wine and refills on our food. He was amazing, professional, and attentive despite the fact that he was not solely responsible for our table.
The salad bar bowls of dressing were all empty, most of the salad bar items were completely picked over and not being restocked on a frequent basis.
The ribeye, filet mignon, Parmesan pork were absolutely excellent. That and the Brazilian cheese bread where the highlights of the experience.
Half of our party is gluten free and it was very disappointing to see all the pen crossed out gluten-free desserts on the menu.
The women’s bathroom was deplorable! Toilet paper all over the floor, two stalls without any seat covers or toilet paper and 100% out of any paper towels and no air drying system. This was my first experience at this restaurant and I have to say for the price we paid for a family of seven, $565, it was not worth the money.

Got seated quickly, was well fed. Only disappointment was that they were out of the wine I liked.

Celebrate my birthday
Meat overload. How much meat can you really eat? It may have gotten a bit pricy. Staff is friendly and service is good though.
Came for my father-in-law's birthday and loved every minute of it.
Sever was horrible. Did not service anything!!! Came up only twice!

Terrible, terrible service ever! Had to wait for more than 30 minutes to be seated even with a reservation. My husband’s dinner arrived about 25 minutes after mine. And the worst part was the waitress. She tossed (literally tossed) the bill at me. I would never go back here again.

I felt like I was at Disneyland in a bad way. I like Disneyland don’t get me wrong but not for a special occasion expensive dining experience. It was loud, bathrooms were disgusting, close call collisions with staff just trying to get to salad bar or bathrooms, crowded seating next to banquet party of 16. Nothing special about the place. I won’t be back. Ever!

The worst experience I had in a restaurant, the food was totally disaster,the guys who walk around with the meat serve you what they want, they were serving me all the fat of the meat and all the worst. Every time I ask them I want it to be well done, they were giving me the bloodiest and most disgusting part of the meat and as you can see in the photo all that meat I did not eat it, the worst experience I have had in my life. Service was great and quick. Food tasted delicious and up to our expectations. Nice complimentary birthday dessert. Server made sure we had everything we needed.

Very crowded at 5 pm. Tables close together. Salad bar messy and not well stocked. Salmon entree never arrived - manager was pleasant and comped a dessert. Chaotic atmosphere with meat carvers everywhere amid the close tables. Rolling bar cart took up too much room. Bartender upsild me a cocktail that ended up costing $17.

First, the food was delicious and we were fortunate to be a little nearer to the kitchen, so the fabulously prepared meat was always hot.
Our bigger issue was a general staff (of which there seemed a good number).
We had reservations, but were first seated next to the buffet. When we asked to be moved (it was not busy at that time and there were only two of us) those manning the front desk seemed very bothered by the request.
Once we were seated the wait staff were great! The only problem is we had to keep asking for things (forks, water, refill on drinks).
This is troubling to hear, as you shouldn't have to repeatedly ask for the items you ordered. We appreciate your remarks, and we hope you award us a second chance in the future.

Worth my time and money. Especially the Churrasco Experience (I think I spelled it wrong), took my friends out to dinner last night. This is my third time going. Best place to take a date as well. Will definitely come again for special occasions.
I told 2 separate employees that we were celebrating birthdays and it still was not acknowledged when they brought the dessert. Disappointing as it was a birthday celebration.
We were sat in the back and Barley anyone came over with the meats.

this was my first time here and our server was great about explaining everything. everyone who came to the table with meats was really nice, there was one server who went above and beyond, we specially requested chicken hearts(my boyfriend had a bad experience trying to get them from here before) and he even came by before he brought them out to let us know they were cooking them. after we ate them, he came by again to ask us how they were as it was my first time having a chicken heart. he was super nice and i loved that he checked in with us so frequently. my only complaint is that the bartender working that night was very heavy handed, i ordered two drinks and they had so much alcohol in them that i couldn’t drink them; our server was nice enough to have them remade so they weren’t as strong.
The food was ok, though definitely overpriced. What upset us the most was the 50 min wait, despite the reservations. The hostess told us they always overbook, intentionally. So they have no respect for our time, they assume that if guests get frustrated and leave, there will always be new ones to overcharge and abuse. They didn't even apologize or offer us a free cup of coffee to make us feel better. They just don't care. Well, we're never going back, and hopefully more people will vote with their wallets and take their business elsewhere

The place was a mess. The service was bad

Not the first time we have gone to eat here but overall a much better experience a great waiter and delicious food also delicious desserts like molten chocolate cake and a tres leches cake

Favorite spot for my wife and I to have a great dinner for date night.
We've been to other Brazilian steakhouses and this one by far has the least variety with their food. We also noted on the reservation it was our first wedding anniversary and that didn't get acknowledged.

Went primarily for the Fogo Feijoada (Brazilian black bean stew) and was disappointed. While not the focus of the restaurant which is primarily a grill/steakhouse, the dish is a feature of their not-inexpensive Market Table & Feijoada Bar experience ($32.95 per person) and did not live up to the quality at other Fogo de Chão locations. Selection was limited (no couve/collard greens, oranges to be seen nor stewed meat selection of any kind- paio, linguiça, costela, carne seca, etc) and what small amount of was available in the stew itself was of low quality. Nice location and good service from friendly staff did not quite make up for the big miss on the main reason for our visit.
