This was my first time here. I can tell you that if you're going to dine there make sure that it's not on a holiday. We had a reservation so that was honored almost right to the minute. We were seated at the intersection of the 2 main isles (bad move) that meet right in front of the kitchen. It was a logistical nightmare, not to mention it was also the main throughfare for diners heading to the restrooms. The place was exceptionally noisy; a quiet dinner was something to only dream about. The food was nothing special, the prices are totally not worth it. Yes, I know things are not cheap these days and I have no issues paying for a really good meal but these prices were just too high for the quality. I can tell you the best part of the night was the exceptional service given by our server Destiny, she went above and beyond! Should we ever return I'm asking for Destiny as she made the evening a bit more tolerable.

I made a reservation for Father's Day to give my husband a special experience, paying $92 per person for the occasion. However, when we arrived, the hostess assigned us a table right by the entrance, where a large crowd was waiting. It was quite uncomfortable as people kept bumping into us while entering the restaurant. When I requested to move to another table, the hostess informed me that there were no available options. This left us feeling disappointed. What's the point of making a reservation when you end up in the worst spot in the restaurant? Our experience did not meet our expectations at all.

My family and i frequent Fogo De Chao often and felt that is was a no brainer for Father's Day. It was busy but the staff handled the flow beautifully. Our reservation was a 4pm we arrived a few minutes early and were escorted to our table promptly. The staff is always friendly and ready to assist with any need you may have. Drinks were a bit delayed but food service was on point. Thank you again for a lovely experience.

We had a great Father’s Day experience at Fogo. While it took us 30 mins after our reservation time to get our table , but once inside the experience was amazing. My son loves meat and had an amazing selection of streak and beef . We didn’t like the lamb or pork or chicken and stuck with their premium top sirloin medium rare as our favorite. The salad selection was really great which complemented the meat eating frenzy . But I loved the overall experience mainly because of server Alejandra who made us feel so welcome and answered all our questions and was very attentive and always smiling and suggesting options to us .

Waited 45 min to be seated with a reservation. My entree was forgotten. The seating was so packed , you could barely get around the restaurant. The food was good but for the prices, it was disappointing.

Overall a pleasant experience. Being it was Father's Dat the staff was overwhelmed. A lot of items in the Salad bar were empty and although I pointed it out to staff, 15 minutes went by without refills, I. gave up and returned to my table. Some of the meats were though and dry but the filet mignon, ribeye and cheese with honey were excellent. I had to ask for a working salt shaker 3 times before getting one that worked and I had to ask for chimichurry 3 times and a request for more cheese bread was not honored. The staff worked hard yet the experience was lacking. That is too bad since it was our first visit to the restaurant. And the prices seem exorbitant!

Fogo De Chão in San Jose is one of the best locations. Saul and Ana took care of us today. There service was amazing. For a busy holiday like Father’s Day they were attentive and made sure we were taken care of. Thank you Saul, Ana, and the team at Fogo!
