I went with my husband and was so nice served by the gauchos. Specially Guilherme and João Gabriel. We had such a great time, food was amazing. Thank you.
A very good deal and meal for the restaurant month! Service was great, very attentive.
Had an amazing dinner and birthday celebration for my birthday. It was our first time and everything was delicious. The service was very attentive and friendly. And all the meat you can eat?! AMAZING. You flip your coaster and they are there with more meat in almost seconds. Definitely a place you need to visit if your in SF. Oh and cant forget the beautiful customized decorated Birthday dessert plate they gave my boyfriend!
Great food and value. It is a non-stop all you can eat service.
Wheelchair accessible with great food and excellent, professional service.
I think Fogo is a great value! Where else can you find all you can eat prime cuts of beef, lamb chicken and pork plus an outstanding salad bar (with great prosciutto) and fresh seasonal soup for $65? Add a well made Caipirinha with lots of fresh lime and you're in Brazilian heaven!
We normally go to the Fogo in San Jose, so our family decided to try the San Francisco branch. After the hostess sat us down, we were met with our cheerful, kind waiter named Rudy. He asked if we’ve been here before and we told him no but in San Jose branch. His service to our table was excellent. He gave us an attentive treatment, always stopping by our table asking us if we needed anything else. There were a total of four of us diners. We kept asking Rudy for the banana and cheese plate and he was very happy to accomodate us. Over all service by Rudy was excellent. It left us a very pleasant experience in our dining moment tonight.
Decor is tired, the food was bland. Side dishes served to table were cold...this restaurant has gone way downhill and for being very expensive per person, the quality is poor. And the meat tasted old in some cases and no seasoning...
Exquisite food and wine, service was a little over-bearing actually and somewhat stilted. But we enjoyed the venue and experience nonetheless.
Still a nice atmosphere in the restaurant, service is decent but not overly friendly. Buffet is not overwhelming and pretty average. Worst is the meet, bad quality, bad taste, fat... It really lost its quality Overall
Poor service, waiter never checked on us. Meat was always medium rare despite asking for medium to medium well. It was dinner yet we only saw few choices of meat. We asked for lamp chops and the filet but never came out. I have been at different Fogo de Chao in different states and we always look forward to going there. This has been our worst experience, never back here again.
Been here a few times. Recent visit wasn't the best. Server sounded unethused and food kep getting dropped on the tablecloth. I also got overcharged with a sudden policy change on soft drinks since I was there (which they did remove after my bringing up the issue), and then an assumed tip of 20%, even though it was for a party of 1.
Stewart the CS manager is the best! we are regulars at this location and he constantly checks in on us to make sure we are satisfied with everything. He is consistent with his great attitude and even recognized that we are regulars. This is a talent that deserves recognition!
The worst service ever , they hardly serve you meat , you basically pay for salad bar
Incredible dining experience. The meat was off-the-charts fabulous, as was the service, but the experience doesn't come cheap: Dinner for four (3 with the full meat option and salad bar, 1 with salad bar only) plus 2 cocktails and two desserts was $360 including tip. Still, as a place to celebrate my son's 18th birthday, it made for an outstanding experience that I would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to repeat.
Great food and friendly, quick service. The quality of meat is top notch and you can request your favorites.
The food was good but the service was not up to scratch, and not up to the prices. Even if it was a busy night at the start, a lot of basics were missed even later on when we were one of the few tables left (we were a party of 12).
Food was great as always, surprised not to see the great seasoned bacon on the salad bar! The meats were great, picanha was brought around several times and served to perfection. The sides and bread were top notch as well. Only disappointments filet mignon was only brought around after asking twice, also once larger parties came in we were completely forgotten about.
Birthday was great , expensive for a large family but they loved it
Great service, amazing food and the best manager. Thank you again.
Our experience at Fogo de Chao was great! we were there to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and when we arrived, we may have waited about 5-10 minutes max for our table to be ready. The hostess was seemed genuinely nice and helpful while showing us to our table. Our main server was also very pleasant. She explained the full dinning experience, offered all of our side dishes repetitively and was attentive without being over bearing. We chose the full experience and the food was amazing, it was a great introduction for me as I'm not a big steak eater, my boyfriend was in heaven and was super excited for the filet mignon. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and my knife cut through it like butter but, the star of the show for me was the lamb. It was tender and so well seasoned! We did go to the Market Table & Feijoada Bar which was also excellent but, overall decided not to spend too much time there so we could eat more of the steaks/meats. It's been 3 days and we are STILL talking about the food here lol. Needless to say, we'll definitely be back and recommend others.
Food was ok. Service was average. Gauchos were slow to bring the entrees around. I have visited Texas de Brazil and their restaurant is way better. If there is one of those in your area, go there instead for the Brazilian BBQ experience.
Compared to other Fogo de Chao locations, this one is the worst by far. It was a little annoying when we had a reservation but we still had to wait 20 minutes to get seated, but what was really terrible was the meat quality. Everything was overly salted or tough or sometimes even too raw for us to eat safely. Overall the meal wasn't worth the money and I wouldn't come back to this location.
It was a very busy day, which meant that by the time the servers had served the sides, we were already half way through our dinner. We asked for some different mashed potatoes (no garlic) and the waiters told us they'd ask in the kitchen. Again by the time they got back to us (first they forgot), we were done with the dinner. So this was just not good. Serving the drinks took a long time, and finally they never asked us whether we wanted any of the sauces they had served on the neighboring table. The food was great as always, but the service was too slow to keep up with the pace of their food servings. At the price they're asking the service should be better.
Overpriced for what you get. The meat circulating wasn’t really anything special. By the time you eat your salad plate and drink, you only have room for so much meat. $200 spent on dinner for 2, with 3 drinks total. For this price I could have gone to another and got a very nice steak. Drinks were good, environment was joyful. Meat was decent.
Wonderful from start to finish. Food was great, staff was attentive and accommodating, it is a lovely restaurant, and it was a great place to get together with friends and laugh and eat well.
Plenty of food for the price. Great service and the wait staff were over the top great.
Dining was an awesome experience and they easily accommodate large groups.
Seemed as if all the meat had garlic. Service was salvaged by another waiter coming and taking over our table as the original waiter brought us water, but never even asked for a drink order. It was our anniversary. Won’t make that mistake again. The new waiter went above and beyond to make it up to us. It did save me from leaving 30 minutes after being seated, but still left with a sour taste (And garlic taste) in my mouth.
Everything was great, perfect but I’m kind of disappointed with the valet parking service,I left a envelope with money and look like I missed money, I trusted the professionalism from your personal but I’m surprised ,I’m kind of disappointed
"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The potato-leek soup was amazing and the Bibb lettuce salad was refreshing. The table was split on the monkfish – one person thought it was great, but another felt that the tastes didn't quite mesh. Everyone loved the flat iron steak. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable."
Amazing experience. Service was soo good. Best flan I’ve ever had. Everything was incredible.
Celebrating my spouse birthday and was just wonderful. Food is delicious and the staff is amazing A big thank you to Rudy and Dee for making the dining experience even more fantastic
Will definitely return
We weren't impressed with the food AT ALL! Meat was super salty and low-quality - even the Filet medallions were gristly. The buffet was small and lacking in the "Brazilian" department! On the other hand, the waitstaff were fantastic!
Upon arrival it took nearly 15 min for anyone to acknowledge us or greet us. There was no one at the front entry table. Finally we were seated. The service was very slow—our meal took nearly 2 hrs and we were waiting for many minutes in between meat coming around. It was a very disappointing experience when we’ve been to other Fogo de chaos with much better service. Would not recommend this location.
A fun experience, but definitely pricey. Service is great. We were lucky to have Miles as our service the last two times we've been here, and on both occasions, he was welcoming and attentive.
From the moment we arrived and checked our car with the valet to the moment we left for our theater performance we were treated to white glove service. Food, glorious food! We always start with a small plate at the market table (so we can say we ate our veggies), then onto the meat! Sirloin, chicken, ribeye, lamb all excellent. Savored every bite. Servers were attentive without being overly so.
Overall it was nice, service was a bit lacking. They say us in a location that was not ideal also.
We went here for my son’s birthday. It is a neat place, but the waiters were not friendly at all. We had a reservation and still had to wait about 30 minutes. Food was OK, service horrible!
Beautiful place. Only been to the one in LA years ago.. I remember a much better salad bar with many salads, veggies, pastas and breads. This one had very little and more charcuterie, cheese, bacon and only two salads.
I think our waiter was overwhelmed with the large group sitting close to us. Hard to get attention for various needs.
