I enjoyed the environment as it was Father’s Day and lots of people had bought their dads / fathers / whoever is a father in for dinner
They should bring more lamb around but other than that it was amazing
We have wanted to visit for years. Loved the food. It was busy, but the food kept coming steadily. Looking forward to returning.
Great food! Come with an empty stomach. COVID protocols still in place. We felt very safe.
Excellent salad bar and soup (yes, there's tomato soup).
Arrived at 9.30 pm. Some steaks were a little on the dry side.
Wife was a vegetarian - they folded the price of the roasted cauliflower into the salad bar. Nice gesture! Nice fire display and decor.
Way too expensive for the quality. They have you fill up on appetizers then when the meat comes around it's often tough.

Reservation was for my son’s birthday and college graduation. Food was mediocre. It took the staff 20 min to find the wine order. When it was finally delivered, they forgot to open the bottle. They forgot the birthday cake. Ended up with a dollop of whipped cream with a candle stuck in it. This was a once in a lifetime celebration and the food and service did not measure up. We made the best of it but I’ll never return to this establishment.
Our service should never be this disappointing, especially when celebrating a birthday, so please know, we apologize. We ask that you visit us down the line, as we'd love to serve you a memorable experience.

It was my first time and I absolutely loved it!
First time returning since the pandemic. Fogo de Chao has done an admirable job of keeping up their level of service while carrying out heightened health precautions. The salad bar now requires you to sanitize your hands and then wear plastic gloves to serve yourself, which had the side effect of my staying at my table more cause it is a bit of a hassle, but I feel like the table-side service has increased in quantity, so I'm not mad about it. Great fun, as always!
This was such an amazing experience and the staff did such a great job keeping the food bar clean and covid compliant. The food was amazing and everyone was so sweet.

I like this restaurant and this is our fourth visit to the SF location for my a goddaughter’s birthday. This past visit however was disappointing. I brought my friend and her family who were visiting for the first time, the waiter did nothing to introduce the restaurant and how things go during dining, I had to do it myself. The table was cramped in a corner adjacent to the server station and my neck was constantly rubbed by the servers using the computer and replenishing supplies. We felt like we were working that night too. Most disappointing fact was our server left unannounced, no one bothered to inform us or come to the table, excuse the server and introduce the replacement. Even at BJs I have had this experience. I don’t like to complain, but I would hate for this restaurant to just downhill due to negligence. One thing for sure, next Churrascaría we will visit will be to one of the competitors in the area, which I have visited too, and know the quality of food and service you can get.

Too crowded indoor given pandemic

I'm not much of a beef eater, but I knew that this was a brazillion steak house. It was a Birthday celebration for my sister and she absolutely enjoyed herself and cant stop talking about it.
Per my rating the food and service was excellent! Very nice place for elegant night out or a celebration.
The food was not quite as tasty as we remember it. It lacked sufficient seasoning. The offerings were not as vast. The salad bar was very scaled down. The seats were not exactly safely distanced. They could have been more spread apart, especially since there was customer sitting down from us with a small dog. Gross! Who wants to eat near a lady with her dog eating from table?
However, the staff wore masks at all times. Safety precautions were also taken regarding the salad bar except that there should have been someone assigned to monitor it. Not every customer exercises the same level of regard and cleanliness for others.
Additionally, the prices increased from $50/ person for the buffet to $67.95/person. We had to ask for our sides as the waiter seemed to be more consumed with helping a large party nearby. In other words, our final
bill totaled $168.33. We had 2 drinks from the bar and no additional sides, beverages or desserts.
Overall, my experience was average. I doubt that we will return any time in the near future. I know that COVID-19 negatively impacted many businesses, but reopening in haste before assuring the same kind of experience as before was not a prudent decision.

The service was awesome and the food is delicious! They had extra measures for the self service area which was great. You must sanitize and wear gloves to proceed. The meat is so yummy, as well as the food bar choices. Definitely recommend

Asked for silverware and napkin. After the second time asking finally got a napkin but no silverware to eat with meat already on the plate. I had to go to the next table over to get my own eating utensils. If you would like water to wash your food down you better bring your own as it was hard to get any from the staff. The food was dry and over cooked. Save your money and go else where.

Our table including the tables next to us took up to 10 min or more to get served any meats. Often it would be a type of meat that was last served when they did come around. They should not seat people if they do not have the capacity to serve tables. Expensive lesson for us. Will not return

Should up early and they said are table wouldn’t be ready for a half hour. Half of my group left to the Gold Club across the street and the other half stayed. If I make reservations I like to be seated on time.

The barbecue sauce was different than other locations, lemonade machine was broken, steak wasn’t served often, they had dessert not available at other locations. This place was unlike other Fogo locations.

- waited 30 minutes for a reservation. So why did I make a reservation? I worked at Marie Calendars and they took a reservation more serious that this place
- wrong cocktail and wouldn’t just accept they accidentally made the wrong drink and while they remake it walk me through step my step how to make a Moscow Mule as if I didn’t already know. That’s obviously how I knew it was the wrong drink. I don’t like mansplaining. ( look it up)

The majority of our party was ready to eat indoors, but we were surprised at how packed the restaurant was inside so we requested out door seating. They accommodated our needs. It was chilly outside and the heaters aren’t very warm. Food and wine selections are excellent. Outdoor service was slightly worse than the attentive indoor service. We were celebrating two birthdays and nothing special was offered for them.
Food was extremely disappointing. SF Fogo is the worst one I've been to hands down. We feel like we got ripped off. They didn't even bring out half the food we wanted to eat. Clearly on purpose too as we were near the meat room and can see they weren't making any effort to bring out the good stuff...

By far my worst dining experience in San Francisco. We came here to explore different dining options and decided to go here because my son wanted to try it. Most of the meats were cooked nicely but lacked flavor compared to other places. The plantains were burnt and soggy. I asked for another order but it came out the same LOL. The drinks were definitely not worth it. Our main server was not very friendly but the rest of the staff was pretty good.

We were absolutely appalled at how crowded and filthy the restaurant was. Even without covid it was uncomfortable. If health inspectors were to come it would be shut down. The salad bar was disgusting. We were so disgusted we left without eating.

Went for Mother’s Day dinner and reserved indoors and was put outside. It was very cold and we had no service for over 20 minutes until someone was flagged down by my husband. We placed our order and my husbands Wagyu came out incorrect.
This wasn’t the first time we had dinner on a separate occasion outside and the wait time was outrageous.. very disappointing because my family loves your restaurant it seems the outside doesn’t have enough staff available and the food comes out extremely slow when ordering the full experience

Mother’s Day. Had a reservation but still had to wait over 30 minutes. Saw our waitress twice, had to remind her to bring the drink orders. She never came back to check on us and had to ask a different waiter for our bill. The meat did not come around much. At the marketplace people were asked to wear gloves but they were not enforcing it and there was a group of ladies ahead of me that did not put on gloves!!!!!! Someone should have told them. There were plenty of staff checking on the dishes although they were not refilling it often enough. It will be a long time if ever I go back.

Went with family for Mother's Day and the food was fantastic as usual and the chefs and servers were doing everything possible to keep pace but the rush hit them pretty hard. Market Table was demolished pretty quick but they refreshed it in what seemed like just time time. A little too crowded post COVID given the reservations needed but we're glad we got one. Precautions were on point. Id say if they can handle this much, they can handle anything ;)
