For the most part food and service were very good. Our waitress was slow in refreshing our drinks. The meat servers were very prompt.
Went for $39/per person seasonal special dinner. Not bad for the price but everything was over salted.
Juliano is the best! Great experience.
Everything was delicious. My 30th Birthday was great. I will definitely return.
Half hour delay, table next to the kitchen entrance, meats aren’t tasty and poor service (wine, etc)
Great meal, very attentive staff. Make sure you come with an appetite.
Wonderful food was divine well worth the expense
We had to ask for all the table sides that come like the banana, palenta, potatoes and cheese bread.
If one of the people we were with had not have already been here we would have never of known and we were already half way through our meal/meats.
Still didn’t bring the cheese bread when we asked. Got that when we’re pretty much done.
First waiter was a bit of a ‘know it all’ forgot to bring a drink.
I also didn’t know that Ginger Ale & Ginger Beer is the same thing... CAUSE ITS NOT. We didn’t say anything just drank it.
The 2nd waiter went over the top. He was nice and attentive.
We got no pork dishes... like pork chops etc.
It’s over priced for what you get.
Service was VERY slow. Had to ask for almost each meat selection and it was slow to arrive to the table. They also were very reluctant to serve the best cuts of meat, and had to keep asking for them over and over. Decided to try some coffee and dessert. Took over 20 minutes to arrive, it wasn’t like it was made to order dessert, they were premade! The hosts and wait staff were polite and the restaurant was clean. Won’t be coming back.
As always, a meat lover's dream breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner! Used the seasonal discount, missed my beef rib tasting, but that's part of the price paying less for all you can eat delicious meat!
Fogo de Chao is a great place if you are looking for brazilian cuts of meet, it's a little pricey but it allows you to try different cuts in an all-you-can-eat way.
Most of the meat was over cooked. Well done. Thought it was tasty.
Even though reserved a table we didn’t get seated until 15 minutes later. Otherwise great
Very good ! Best service I ever seen. I would
Come back for sure
We have been to Fogo in other areas many times. It is normally one of our favorites. This location is the worst example of a Brazilian steakhouse we have seen. Reservation was not ready. Servers rarely came by with meat and when they did it was the same few things over and over again. I don't know if they ran out of some things or just didn't bring them to our part of the restaurant. The salad bar was the worst I have seen in this type of restaurant ever. I highly recommend a different choice for this type of cuisine in San Francisco. Very disappointing
Great Service, our waiter anticipated anything we needed and the food is absolutely delicious
Reservation was at 745pm.
They did not seat us until after 845pm.
I love going here service and food are excellent.
Meat was all very bland. Service was good but it was also very loud and crowded. Over $200 for two people to eat dinner
Love this place
It’s was bloody fantastic!
Initially we weren’t sure how our evening would be since the hostess we encountered was not inviting at all. However, the two servers turned the evening around for our party of 4. They were an awesome team and the young man was extremely energetic and positive which would make us all return again. Being a business owner myself I know the importance of first impression, but I also value and appreciate when service recovers and your tandem did that tonight.
It was delicious and great service!!
By far the best all you can eat restaurant I have ever experienced. The variety and quality of meat was incredible! Be sure to try the glazed pork belly with grilled pineapple, goes great with the pineapple old fashioned.
Always a good feast for a special occasion.
Very good food, nice ambience, excellent service. We celebrated my parents birthday and 50th wedding anniversary on this restaurant. We are so grateful with the staff. Highly recommended.
Service was excellent, every employee was helpful and friendly. The food was very tasty and the servers were by the tables often with a variety of meats. The cheese and salad bar was fresh with plenty of choices.
I ve been several times. This was the worst overall service I have ever received. I was a server many years and was shocked at how bad it was. For example it took us 30 minutes to get seated and we had a reservation and then the servers kept asking us requests of meat that were never brought...
This was my third time coming to this restaurant. I've made reservations and requested to please get better service since we where completely unsatisfied with our server the last time i was here. This time the server was not coming to our table to see if we need it more wine or water. Food was unpleasant. The chicken drum stick was burned. They no longer serve the grill shrimp and also don't have the pineapple which was one of the things i enjoyed beside the grilled shrimp. For the price of $65 each party of 3 we paid for service and food that was not edible.
My family were disapointed with our dinner. We have to wait for a long time to be served with meat and have to ask for some items we were waiting for. It wasn’t what we expected. Maybe because we opt to have the special (Fogo month) that’s why we didn’t get the service we expected??? We will NOT recommended the restaurant.
For probably half an hour we were the only table seated on a Sunday at 12:30P, a bit odd. Service was attentive, the buffet was ample and had a nice variety. The meats and chicken were not the highlight, some too salty and some dry. Wonderful cheese puffs started the meal. Very likely we’d return.
Celebrating my husband bday the food did not come out as often as it should have. Was not checked on often had to always flag someone down to request for water re-fill.
Did get all the cuts of meats
To try service was very slow and not accommodating
Every time we go, it reinforces why it is our favorite restaurant in San Francisco. The location, staff, ambiance, food quality. We love bringing new friends to share our special 'find' with them. As you can imagine we WILL be back again and again.
Overall, it's great, especially if you're a meat lover. 2 caveats though: they check in on you a little too much, so if you're looking for an uninterrupted meal, look elsewhere. Also, some of the cuts of meat are offered up very rare. I ate some really rare lamb thinking my stomach could take it and paid the price later. Other than that, it's awesome
Ordered the full - meat quality was mediocre.
Service - some people were attentive and others were not. The manager did come by to ask the table how we like our meat, however the servers continued to bring well done instead of the medium requested. The meat repeated a few times. The better meats didn’t come as often, makes sense. Chicken hearts were completely over cooked hard and chewy. First batch was a lil under.
First time eating here. Again it wasn’t impressive and seemed more food chain than passion about Brazilian bbq.
Not appropriate for business meetings - too loud. Food was good, service was so so. A lot of interruptions.
Loved this place. Great food, friendly staff and terrific drinks. If you like churrascarias this place is for you.
The staff were phenomenal!! I initially had reservations at another location yet when I called that place they couldn’t find the reservation, then I came across Fogo De Chao. Well, every time I called someone answered, and upon arrival my boyfriend and I were greeted with warm smiles.
I chose this location for the experience and I must say the staff was great and food even better, I celebrated my boyfriends 26th birthday and my little sisters 21st; there’s an employee there by the name of Steward, great man! Lastly, the management was awesome, authorizes my military discount :)
We’ll be back!
The food was way over salted and the service was lacking.
