   This was truly disappointing service. We have been coming to Fogo for over a decade. The food was great, as always. The gauchos were amazing and accommodating. Our server was MIA until she brought us our incorrect bill. It got fixed, but the whole experience was disappointing.

   Visit and bring my Mom to Fogo de Chao to celebrate Mother’s Day. I thought it was gonna be a nice experience and that my family will have a pleasant time and experience. However, the experience was not what I expected and my mom didn’t enjoy the surprise lunch. We got in and got seated with no problem. The server came to our table and took out order. We decided to do the Churrasco full experience which was $80 per person due to holiday and we were very exited about the meat. We went to the salad bar which it had a good selection of different side dishes and salads. We were seated and waiting for the meat and it took longer than what we expected, we were seated at the corner probably that’s why nobody was coming our way of course the first meat we tried was sirloin wich some of us decided to have while my mom was waiting for some picana, 10 mins later the picana guy shows up and started serving all the tables around us even the one next to us but next thing I know we got skipped. Of course I was very irritated by this since my mom wanted to eat this. We kept waiting for another 20 mins and no one seems to come. Our reservation was 1pm we got seated by 1:15 and we try any meat until 1:50pm. Of course we got very frustrated and my mom was starting to get annoyed so we call the manager and a lady I think her name was Marcela came by I explained her all the situation and how nobody seemed to come to our table, then she asked which meats we were waiting on I said picana and rib eye. We added more drinks which was the only thing that actually came right away. Marcela said that she will send the meat over to our table and ensure that the will pass by. I waited another 15 mins until finally picanha showed up to our table and we got some pork and more bottom sirloin kept coming our way. I was very frustrated because it seemed that we were not able to try what we actually came for. My husband then went to bathroom and said that it was very disgusting.

   I went with 4 friends for lunch and we all had the all-you-can-eat salad bar. It was fabulous. So many wonderful choices and all delicious.

   We recently dined at Fogo de Chão in San Francisco for my husband's birthday, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience compared to other Fogo locations we've enjoyed. We opted for the Full Churrasco Experience. The salad bar was excellent, as usual — fresh, plentiful, and well-maintained. However, the main event, the meats, were a letdown. Service was slow, and when meat did come around, it was overwhelmingly pork, chicken, or cheese — not the beef we were looking forward to. We had to specifically request beef multiple times, and it still took quite a while to arrive. When the ribeye finally came, it was served extremely rare (essentially blue) despite the long wait, and the sirloin was so tough it was almost inedible. For a restaurant known for its premium cuts of beef, this was a real disappointment. The pao de queijo didn’t taste fresh; they were served cold and had lost the expected crispness on the outside. If I wanted cold tapioca, I’d drink boba. Instead of plantains, we were served caramelized bananas with the polenta cakes - both of which were cold. Serving bananas instead of plantains should be a capital offense. The server seemed to forget about us, aside from serving us these two cold side dishes. We chose Fogo de Chão to celebrate a birthday, but the recognition was minimal — just a handwritten note on a coaster, and nothing else to make the occasion feel special. Overall, this visit did not live up to the Fogo de Chão standard we're familiar with. The value just wasn’t there. We left feeling let down, especially given the special occasion. If you want a stellar Fogo experience, check out the Las Vegas location.

   It took several asks to get an allergen list - but a lovely blond haired woman eventually was very attentive. We ordered the full Churrasco for my son and showed our waiter the $25 off email ad we had included in the notes of our reservation, and my husband and I had placed the Best of Brazil offer in the reservation notes. Neither offer showed up properly in our bill. We also had to ask for my son to get the additional meat items such as Filet Minion and Lamb Chop - it was NOT offered to him without special request. When the bill came, we were charged the full $80 price for my son’s meal (not discounted by $25) and $54 for the other two Best of Brazil meals (and not the $49 as advertised). We got the bill adjusted, but had to wait and missed our ferry and had to wait an extra hour for our ferry home. Our waiter did not seem to understand English well, or didn’t understand the offers, and took pictures of my reservation notes and my emails before making the adjustments. This was really not acceptable, but glad it worked out. Management needs to rectify this. Thanks for fixing it, but it did inconvenience us, on our son’s 30th birthday - however, do want to say we appreciated he got a free item for his birthday. Take care

   The meat service did not come around our table much until we had to tell them. Also the waitress was bit attentive. There was times that drinks were low. We had to literally ask another waitress to please look for out waitresses. The service was poor for the amount we paid for.

    Our server stopped servicing us …. We did not get similar items as the tables next to us … and all on my mother’s birthday… Marcella turned things around with a devilishly delicious crème brute cheesecake; so very much thank you to her. As for our waitress, maybe fago de chao is a bit out of your league, currently, time and experience advances people within any profession.
