    The service was utterly horrible. There were 30+ minute gaps between and meats being served. We had reservations at 6:45, but were told it would be 35 min to be seated. The tables had us packed in like ants to where the back of the other guests chairs were literally touching our table. This was so obscene that the servers couldn’t keep up remembering which tables they went to or not and we were skipped multiple times. The meats that were being brought out (which was scarce) were all overcooked and I didn’t see any good cuts ever like ribeye. This was the worst Fogo experience I’ve had, and as a combat vet on memorial day smh!

    Had a wonderful Memorial Day lunch. The entire Fogo team was friendly and welcoming. Our server Silvia really went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely dining experience. Best time at Fogo yet!

    The slices of meat were too thin but tasty. Too much of the same thing so not worth the expense. Also took a long time to get a check once we were ready to go.

    It was overall good but some of the meats came out a little dry for my liking would’ve expected more for a Brazilian restaurant.

    Fogo is a staple and im one of the supporters but this time was horrible. made a reso and got sat within 10 minutes of arriving. We get sat and then we sit there for about 15 minutes until i ask a waiter walking by if he could please take our order. Our table was right next to the waiters station and not one of the staff even looked at us until we asked them to help us. My friend and I proceed to get our salad and vegetables, we sit and we turn our cards over to green and we proceeded to wait another 10 minutes until the first meat came out. We asked for lamb chops, it was the worst i have ever had there and im usually always eating a couple rounds of the lamb. We only were served 5 or 6 of the cuts of meat that night. my friend and I were so fed up with the service and the way they didn't have any of the meats coming out. whatever meat was served was good but not their best night of service. i could have had more protein if i had gone to a steakhouse and it would have been cheaper. its a fun experience but this time around not worth it at all.

    I have been to the SF Fogo before and other Brazilian steak houses like this and was very disappointed in this location. For the price, we were only offered one cut of beef (sirloin, I believe), pork ribs, garlic chicken, sausage and LOTS of pineapple. I had to inquire about another cut of beef, and so they brought filet mignon much later. I expected at least 6 to 8 cuts of meat circulating as advertised. At least the salad bar was ok. When I’m in town again, though, I would not choose to come back. There are a lot of other choices in this area.

    My waiter was very rude at the end when asked for the check. He asked if we were done eating . I said no bc we were doing the continuous meat plates. We knew the check would take awhile and still we’re gunna snack on food until we were done. He then said in a louder tone we’ll are you done or not. After I said I was done he cleaned the table and then throw my knife on my plate in front of me.

    It was the worst business dinner in my history of business dealings nerd throughout the country. We were seated and ignored. Then finally someone came by and gave us instructions on how it works. There were no signs on the buffet indicating what the dishes in the buffet were. When asked, the staff did not know the dishes. When the staff came by our table they were rude, treated us like an imposition instead of as paying customers out for a dining experience. To end the evening our bill arrived for a party of four with two beverages it came to $301. The waiter took my AX and charged us for the table next to us over $390; when I pointed it out the waiter took the bill, apologized and said he’d fix it. He returned with a closed charge for $301. When I asked for a copy of the refund, he said he modified it instead of refunded it as otherwise it takes up to seven days to get credit. No apology, no discount and zero respect and consideration. Not only was it the worst dining experience for me personally, it was a business dinner and therefore a reflection on my company and an extension of our organization. I will never recommend or return to this establishment.

    Our server Rosea was amazing! Even when things were coming out slow he managed to keep the atmosphere fun and light! It was a great Mother’s Day experience!

    Terrible experience on Mother’s Day. Waited 45 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. Woman in front calling names for reservations had a nasty attitude. Sat down and didn’t have utensils for about 20 minutes. Restrooms were absolutely disgusting, I’ve seen cleaner ones at gas stations. Food came around eventually for about 20 minutes and then we were ignored for the last 45 minutes or so we were there even though we were still hungry. Asked multiple servers including our own to have them bring more meat by (chicken specifically) and it got us nowhere. Eventually we gave up and left. Had to stop and get McDonald’s on the way home because my son was still hungry. Been here several times in the past but this was the last time.

    We frequent Fogo de Chao pretty often. I made a reservation, like I normally do. However, we waiting 35 minutes passed our reservation time, the drinks didn’t come around even after we ordered, the meat service was extremely slow, we were bypassed several times and only when I would ask them to come over would they come serve us that particular meat. I understand it was extremely busy due to Mother’s Day but i think the restaurant took too many reservations that they couldn’t accommodate. Not the best experience

    Came for Mother’s Day our reservation was at 545 didn’t get seated til 630 and there was a crowd of people outside because im assuming they overbooked a lady outside was constantly yelling at people to check in and when asked about a reservation would be rude and say I’ll call you when it’s ready in a nasty tone finally get seated they seat us in the bar are on a makeshift table with foldable wooden chairs sat there for 30 minutes til we got drinks they never brought us our potatoes bananas and meat never came around so we left overall horrible experience

    We had a reservation on Mother's Day and expected it to be busy. It was obvious that the restaurant took way too many reservations for the evening. We were seated 20 minutes late (not much of a stretch for Mother's Day) and the servers were as good as they could be. However, the selection in the Main Salad bar was extremely poor with only about 1/2 of the normal offerings. We were there for 90 minutes and not once did they refresh the rice or beans (staples in our family).

    Disappointed with this experience. Returning customers that have always had a great experience. Reservation was late, sat outside bar, waiter non present, food was scarce with no rice and limited salad bar options. Only 2 style of meat came around and around in an hour and a half. When asked for a manager waited around for over 20 minutes to get an attitude when she appeared. No consideration for customers at all that day.

    We arrived 15 min early for a 4:15 reservation and was told that it would be over an hour wait. She said that they had over 2000! reservations that day. We told her to forget it and left. I consider it so very irresponsible and bad business practice to over book so badly. I will not be going there again.

    Without question the worst dining experience I have EVER had. Seated one hour after our scheduled reservation time. The staff was overwhelmed by the amount of people. Extra tables were set up making it too crowded to move around and too noisy. Slow service to the tables and bringing food out. Long lapses in between servers coming to our table. Most of the meat that was brought to our table was raw. Not rare, RAW. Uncooked. There was color on the outside, but the meat was raw and even hard to cut with the table knives. NEVER AGAIN.

    Mother’s Day was a zoo. Too many tables and people inside the restaurant, which made me wonder if it was within fire safety codes. The displays were messy, and there was too many people in the small restaurant. There were not enough meat servers circulating. It didn’t feel special because it was crazy busy. The servers were overworked and definitely short staffed. We had to ask for drink refill’s multiple times. It wasn’t worth what we spent and the experience was terrible.

    I guess their system was not working properly so it accepted more reservations than they could handle and so they were backed up for over an hour. Service was as expected for that situation-not good.

    It was so crowded! We had a reservation and still had to wait an hour. They completely overbooked, unstaffed and tables were so close together. It was difficult navigating to the salad bar.

    Bery disappointed at the turnout of the Wagyu & Wine event. I was hoping to get more knowledge about the wines, how they are sourced and and how they compare to other wines. We wanted to buy some wine but they were not able to mix-match us a custom set of the 3 we liked most. Also they didn’t have much info to tell us about the wagyu and we only were served 1 of the 2 wagyus. Very frustrating when you take someone out for a celebration. Staff was nice but they were a bit all over the place which limited the experience.

    The manager called Rafael reached out to me by phone and email due my bad experience on Valentine's day. He insisted that the experience I had on that day is not what they provide and invited me to come back. I went back Saturday for dinner with my girlfriend and it was the best experience of our lives! First, manager Rafael made sure we had the traditional Fogo de Chao having all types of steaks. Second, the drinks were great and the server would bring them so quick! The food was very tasteful and the steaks so delicious. It was definitely a different experience than we had before. I talked to Rafael about the previous experience and he said the restaurant had app issues with Open Table app and it happens but I'm glad we came back and had such an AMAZING experience. I can't thank enough the guys would bring the steaks (Jose and Patrick), great people that made sure we had the best service as well! Jasmine W our server was so helpful as well. Thank you Rafael for providing us the real Fogo de Chao experience!!!!

    The food is amazing. Your could easily make an entire meal from the sides/salad bar area. But you are coming here for meat! The lamb was phenomenal but my new favorite was the parmesan pork. Yum! Drinks were fantastic. Great wine selection. The only minor issue was a little bit of a wait to be seated at the 5pm reservation slot - there were a few groups that were waiting alongside our group...15 minutes + before we were seated. The servers were personal and attentive and they know their stuff, happily answering any and all questions about the items they were serving.

    The service was good once They were around but sometimes We used to spent just too much waiting for the service. Also there was a guy, once of the servers that It offered chicken twice and We said no twice and He left talking loud: Nobody wants the chicken! Nobody ever comes for the chicken!     It took 30 min to seat my reservation of 5 people. Too many tables crowded in to the space. Too loud in restaurant. Could not even hear the waitress speak.     First time at the San Diego location. Unfortunately, I have to say the food was disappointing; most of the meats were dry. Service was ok; waiter was attentive the first 5-10 min then disappeared. The problem is that compared to other locations across the US it did not seem to be up to par. Still, dinning experience was ok.

    This was our first time, and we do plan to come back. We had an early reservation at 4:45, which I would also do again. It was very busy and loud when we left. Six of us did the Churrasco where they keep bringing meats and you get the Feijoada Bar and side dishes. One of our party had the Chilean sea bass and said it was the best she has had. I think the picanha was my favorite cut, but it was all delicious. We were very full but had to share some desserts - the açaí cheesecake (my favorite), crème brûlée and tres leches cake. Only complaint was that the refills were slow in coming and we had to ask for ice for the water (it was actually warm when first served).

    We had a great experience at Fogo de Chao! I have eaten at several Brazilian BBQ restaurants before, but this place tops them all. Expect great service, top cuts of meat and lots of special surprises from the kitchen.

    I love this place! The food is amazing. We went there for our anniversary and they made it a great day. If you go you need to try the cheese with honey, it was so delicious!
