The newly remodeled restaurant in Rosemont looks even worse than before. Now it feels like a dining hall. The tables are close to each other. The color looks dull. I rather go to Texas de Brazil in Schaumburg.

Horrible management, they refused to accept a Fogo de Chao gift card claiming I could not use it on a Saturday. I had the opportunity to read the gift card after I recovered my reading glasses following my return to my vehicle - the gift card, which was acquired directly from Fogo de Chao during the recent Christmas holiday season, was valid through Sunday, March 29th. Surely I am not the only customer who presented such a gift card to this restaurant and for the manager to claim he was not familiar with it because “there are so many gift cards” was simply a display of absolute incompetence. The meaningless apology was too little too late.

Service was slow..... couldn’t get water, meats we wanted, and the cheeses bread was IMPOSSIBLE!! I will not be back. Too expensive of a meal to be so completely disappointed

Came for restaurant week. Extremely crowded, but they never lost their cool & the Service was top notch.
The experience was fantastic! My husband and I were celebrating his birthday, the food and service was great!
They had our table ready for our party of 7. It was pretty busy but even then the service was outstanding. Felt like we were the only table there. They don't rush you out of the place. They truly go above and beyond to make sure you have everything. I can go on and on ! The food is fantastic you don't even know where to start (this is a good thing) . Usually don't write reviews but this place was overall just too good not to. Worth every penny!
It's a nice restaurant, service was good. But I just didn't feel I got my money's worth with the food. You can easily go to many other restaurants, have a steak with sides and pay less.

Indicated it was our birthday in the reservation. It wasn’t even mentioned. The food - meats left so much to be desired. Texas de Brasil far exceeds in quality value and most importantly taste. The picana was rubbery and smelled bad. We won’t be back to fogo. We dine at a Brazilian steak house at least once a month.

I did not enjoy this location... food seemed off, tables on top of each other...very loud.... a server hit one of my party members in the head with a tray
The food was amazing as usual. If I could get the recipe for their parmesan pork, I would make it once a week. The service was kinda spotty. We had to ask for plates amd multiple time for drinks and such. BUT, they were busy and I'm betting probably short staffed as this is the kind of restaurant that would tell people not or come in if they are sick. I appreciate that with this virus going around. Its expensive and we go for special occasions but its worth it, especially if you plan ahead and stockpile gift cards.
Used to be better but they remodeled in order to fit more tables. Instead of a host station like before, now you awkwardly line up next to the bar and put your name in there. Every square inch they could fit seating now has it, and you can’t get out of your seat without bumping another table
Used to feel premium, now it feels like an overpriced retail meat buffet, with people constantly presenting you with upsell items like cocktail shrimp, while your actual server is almost impossible to find. They even added fried cheese to the meat presentation, another obvious ploy to maximize profits. No, I don’t want fried cheese instead of meat. I would have gotten cheese at the salad bar if I wanted cheese.
The meat is still good. However, I would recommend you go to any other Brazilian steakhouse. There are many choices now. Fogo used to be my favorite but it has slid all the way to the bottom.

Food was good. Service was great. Atmosphere is okay. There is too much salt on many of the meats. You can actually see it and it’s just too much. For 2 people to have lunch without drinks or tip added its $90.
I asked for a cake for my moms birthday and the server said it 🤦🏽♀️. They started vacuuming while we were eating. The server cut a piece of filet and told me “that’s a $50 cut of meet there.” So what, so unnecessary. I can’t imagine going back for the price.
Although we had an appointment for 8:15 we had to wait 1 hour to be seated. The server kept forgetting most of our orders and we had to call him few times to remind him. Also for some reason they stopped bringing us meats at some point although our chips were with the green side up. and we had to call them again to bring us some meat. The only good thing about this place is the quality of the food. The service is horrible!
They made us wait for 1.5 hours. We made a reservation with OT for 8.15PM and had to fight with them to get a table at 9.45. It was ridiculous! Food service was bad as well, they hardly cane to our table with the meat.
We had reservations for 730 and were not seated until after 830. The service was absolutely horrible, we never had server the only person that came around was the server assistant. We ordered 2 sangrias that tasted like you were drinking pure sugar. Once we were done we waited over 20 minutes for someone to come over and give us our check. Given the price per person of the restaurant, the service should have been a lot better than this.
Food was ok, tablecloth got dirty every time meat was cut by servers, tables to close to each other, there should be signage for where to go to when confirming reservations, would be nice if check came in a closed book not just a receipt handed like at the stores.
Awful hour long wait with a reservation!
Even with a reservation, we had to wait about an hour to be seated. Then we were seated in a small alcove off to the side where we were basically forgotten about the rest of the night. We kept trying to wave down staff for refills, for dessert, and for the check... good food, but was spoiled by the poor customer service/experience.
To say we were disappointed is an understatement. We've dined at the Downtown location multiple times and there is marked difference. Aside from the salad bar, the meats served by the gauchos was average at best. First, there were too few gauchos serving meats, we were passed up multiple times, had to repeatedly ask for certain meats only to continue to watch them visit other tables but not ours even though our cards were green. Second, the quality of the meat was sub par... many were gristly, tough and fatty. Again, extremely disappointed and felt management should be aware.
I come here a lot one of my favorite spots. The food this time was not good tho and I think it was because it was the end of the night and they where closing the mead was over cooked and they pawned off convos at the time so there be no was none left over it understandable. Service is always great. I was still satisfied tho I will still come back just not towards closing time

I frequented the Rosemont location for the first time for lunch. The Managers and Staff were absolutely amazing with their attention and care. The food was fresh and nicely prepared. I hope to return again to such a great atmosphere.
