I have been to this location over 22 times and I’m never disappointed the service is always excellent and staff is very nice thank you for a good experience
There is no place like fogo. My family and I have been coming here for years, and they never seem to fail. The staff are all amazing, from the host, to the servers, to the managers. Everyone is always so polite and professional. Servers make sure to come around the table multiple times with fresh meat. Even though, there are many locations to fogo, I always choose Fogo De Chao in Rosemont because of the hospitality and welcoming vibe I get while dining. Truly appreciate all of their hard work and kindness. If you are looking for your next date night, get together, or just a regular dinner, fogo in Rosemont is the place to be!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
This restaurant although newer and cleaner than the one in Chicago, the service was subpar. Several times servers bypassed us even with all “coins” flipped to green. Multiple times we had to ask to get someone to our table.
Excellent food and service. However, we were requested to leave to go to bar after dinner to "make room for other patrons" which did not go over well with us. we had a full meal and a 100 bottle of wine which I thought was good enough to hold the table for under 2 hours. food and beverages and service was otherwise excellent
Anniversary dinner. Made reservations and left after having to wait 45 mins. Very disappointed.
Food was excellent!! Meat servers come quickly with perfect heat. Salad bar is also awesome
We were expecting a quiet, lovely lunch. Who knew that every single company would be having their holiday luncheons that very day. The service was good, considering the overflow crowd, but the noise level was unbearable. And why not have a valet for lunch? the parking situation in Rosemont's "entertainment" district is ridiculously complex and cumbersome.
Love this places always a good time
Very prompt and polite service. Our server Adam was very attentive and had a really nice smile. Food was great, as it always is.
Service was phenomenal. Never experienced such great service and the food was wonderful
Honestly, I was really looking forward to my experience. We asked to move tables, to a round, but they said it wasn't available and by the time we finished eating no one had sat down there. We were sitting at two tables put together and they weren't equal in height, so it created an awkward middle seat position. In addition, our server was nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get to come over once we got drinks. Her name was Kristen or Kirsten, I think, and we ended up asking for another server to help us. She explained how to do the meal and then we never heard from her again. We tried to order dessert, but our server was, again, no where to be found. The hostess said she'd help and she just walked away. Then, at the end of our meal we were given a computer to do out own check, w/ almost no instruction as to how to slide out cards. Overall, the food was decent, not AMAZING, but the service was really NOT good. I would expect more when spending over $100 for a meal. I don't know if it was an off night or what, but I expected better. Really, extremely disappointing.
It was crowded, the tables were place so close together there was little room for movement. The servers would ignore us because we were surrounded by large tables and with patrons.. We were charged for a drink I did not receive..
The salad bar had items that were starting to dry out and empty and were not refilled as needed..
For the cost of the evening for the two us at your restaurant.. I will not recommend it..
The salad bar was fair the meat was very good the service was terrible, error on our bill..
Shift Christmas dinner
The food was delicious! However, this location is not the best in terms of ambiance. I have been to the Fogo in downtown Chicago and the space and decor/lighting is gorgeous. This one feels like a hotel banquet room with no personality. Tables are very close together and chairs not all that comfy. Just wish the vibe matched what I was expecting more.
Was pretty good, rarely saw the lamb come by though.
Out reservation for 5:45pm but we got there at 6pm due to terrible traffic and a difficult parking situation. We were seated at 6:45pm. It was a total mob scene.
I got salad bar only and was disappointed with the limited selection. Competitors offer soup and also sushi; not here. The Caprese salad had no balsamic or any ‘sauce’; it was plain tomato and mozzarella with a leaf of basil; very disappointing. Others in my party got the meat offerings which were tasty, especially the lamb! However, many cuts never got to our table. There were meats listed on the menu that we never saw.
Our waiter was very attentive. The physical design of this place is not great, to put it lightly. There is inadequate wait space and the restrooms are at the back of the bar area. For patrons to use the restroom, one has to squeeze through the waiting crowd and all the people in the bar... not easy on the night we were there.
Rosemont is not an area I go to usually and would not go again. Too stressful; too crowded; and not that special. If you are a meat lover, it’s great. I like meat but can’t eat that much so the full offering wouldn't next worthwhile for me. I wish there was a way to get, say 3-4 meat cuts and that’s it.
But... the lamb - wow!! (Yes, I slipped in a bite. But I was hungry because the salad bar was so lacking.)
This was our annual office holiday dinner. We were a party of 13 and had made a reservation for 7:30.
Everyone in our party arrived between 7:10- 7:35. Knowing there will be a little wait I let the host know we were ready to be seated at 7:30 when 11/13 of us had arrived. We were not seated until 8:00 PM. I don’t believe this was the fault of any of the staff working the host stand. I could tell they were dealing with the overwhelming number of waiting parties as best they could. They were very polite and patient with us.
Once we were seated it took about another half an hour until we all got water and coaster cards. Once again I really don’t think our server was ignoring us. When available, he and the rest of the waitstaff were amazing. My opinion is having a couple more waitstaff working last night would make the experience a 5/5. I’ve had 5/5 at this location and last night was far from that.
The food was delicious as always and did not suffer from
The overwhelming number of people in the restaurant. Once the service was rolling we did get more than our fair share of meat.
Overall our team had a good experience and evening. It was the initial wait in the crowd of people and the additional wait at the table that was the biggest pain point.
Great food and service. Very friendly staff and nice ambiance. This place gets very crowded on weekends so book in advance.
Asked for iced tea and water with meal. Was trying to explain to waiter that I wanted simple ice water with lemon. Was brought mineral water and charged $5. Was not pleased.
Overall, our party of 4 had a nice time celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday. The staff was very courteous and friendly from beginning to end. They have a large selection of fine wines and other alcoholic beverages. There was also a nice spread of salad bar items to choose from. The only issue we had was that most the meat they brought to you was way too fatty and grisly for our liking.
Great dinning and great food !
Horrible experience. I've been to Fogo many times before and I've never had horrible service like I did tonight. We asked for sides and certain cuts of meat multiple times and were left waiting long times. Asked for Ribeye midway through our meal and it came while we were paying our tab. I let the manager know about the horrible service but by then it was too late and his attitude seemed like he didn't really care. Definitely won't be back to this location. 0 stars
We did the Brazilian special and it was delicious. More than enough food at the salad bar, and we do wish that there were more choices of meat. I know that the ribeye was not included and I feel that it should’ve been.
Overall the food is decent. The problem is that although you pay for prime cuts of meat (ribeye and filet), there are only a few people that actually serve these cuts. I literally waited for an hour to get one serving of the ribeye (which is my favorite), but was too full to actually enjoy it. While waiting for the best cuts to come around, I thought I would try small samples of the other offerings. This will make you full very quickly and honestly the lower cuts of meat aren't that great. Plus, as the people serving each cut of meat walk around, the meat cools off. It's still warm, but a medium rare cut is not served at the best tempature to enjoy it. Lastly, my wife and I weren't drinking, but instead of the typical fountain soda that you get in most restaurants with free refills, they serve 8 ounce glass bottles of diet coke for 3.75 each. So to get roughly the same amount of a single soft drink at a typical restaurant (not including the typical free refills), you're paying $7.50. I hate restaurants that do this. It's price gouging for no reason. I won't go back. I would much prefer to pay for a prime steak perfectly cooked and hot at a steak house than to visit here again.
Disappointed as we asked for specific meats repeatedly and it didn’t come out until one server at the end brought it out for us. It was as at the end of the meal. I pay more to have certain cuts and expect that at the least. The answer I got is it’s busy. Really!!!!
It was okay. I have seen and had better experience at different location.
Great mostly gluten free dining
In general everything was okay. It was not great or exceptional, though. We ordered the regular dinner, not the discount. I asked to have medium-well filet mignon and NY strip steak. It took at least 15min maybe longer. When I finally received it, it was so well done it was terrible. This experience makes me hesitant to return.
It was a holiday however reservations were for 5pm for 4 ppl. We weren’t seated until 5:30 and we arrived early. Once finally seated it took too long for our cocktail order as well as receiving them. A lady going around with colossal shrimp cocktail and aggressively placed one on our table even though we said no! We had to have it removed so we wouldn’t be charged for it! Geezp
My family and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving 2019 feast.
Celebrating 3 birthdays but disappointed by food and mostly by long hair wrapped around a chicken leg!
We dined here for the Taste of Brazil special which was $39 rather than full price. It was definitely worth it! I wouldn't pay the full price but with this deal I'd go again. The food is delicious and it is a lot of fun!
We were celebrating my son’s birthday! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing, we love the variety and quality,
Tables are packed together. The salad bar was a mess with many items picked over. Service was marginal at best. Steaks were tasty though.
It was overcrowded, too bright, we were sat a half hour after our reservation. The shrimp they passed around and encouraged you to purchase was translucsent, only two of the meats I tried were actually good. Had a hard time finding the plates for the salad bar. The place is ridiculously expensive for what you get including the price of the drinks. Disaster!!! Never again!
This was one of the worst experiences ever! We were seated in a back corner which normally would be fine and great, but the selection of meets barely made it back to us. We asked multiple times for other cuts to be brought over eventually they made it. The meat was mostly overcooked. We had to ask 4 times for the bread and sides that normally come to the table to be brought to us. At the end the manager came by and apologized and gave us some extra things on them but at that point we were over it. It was a nice thought but we will not ever be back. Also, the bathroom was beyond disgusting. The floor in the restaurant also looked dirty. They had a carpet that was shedding all over. Very gross. The restaurant is also extremely loud. We have been to other locations and have never had this experience. We will never be back to this location.
Awful, uncoordinated and organized check in area. Just bad. They really should get a hostess stand and actually have hostesses greeting people. I understand it’s overwhelming, but customers need to be greeted and guided.
Great atmosphere, with amazing amounts of delicious meats. Can’t wait for the next time I visit.
