I normally have great experience here.
This time it took them 50 minutes to show with beef to my table. I was not there for the chicken. My kids didn't get their favorite picanha for a long time so they ended eating other things.

Amazing Mother's Day Dinner with my mom and son. We both received gift cards for a free meal just for dining on mother's day and my 12 year old son was half price!

We had to wait a little bit for our seat even tho we had a reservation but that is fine it was Mother’s Day! But once we got seated you get to eat right away so it’s totally fine! Everything went well! It wasn’t fun!

Really good, but since it was so busy (Mother’s Day) we had to remind the waiters to bring the side dishes, water, check, which was only a minor inconvenience. It also was sad that our reservation was @ 1:30 but we got seated at 2:05ish. :/

We took our mom and it was amazing, the service, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was magic and fantastic, everything to make our mom happy. She loves lamb, then we tried Capirina as the server said, best drink I ever had, Then my mom loved the Guarana. Wd also loved the lava cake dessert. We highly recommend this place for all ocasions. 5 start Fogo de Chão

All of the food, with the single exception of the plantains, was under seasoned and bland. Most surprising, over and over and over again, the protein was way over cooked. I was left waiting multiple times as the waiter had to make a special trip to the kitchen to get protein that was cooked properly to medium rare. Pretty shocking considering this place is all about the protein. I will certainly not be retiring to Fogo de Chao.

This is meat eaters heaven. However, the salad bar will satisfy any non-meat eater, as well. We went during a special pricing event. We could not get all the meats, but that didn't dampen the mood at all. Had 2 kids under 6 and they ate free. They could have the meats, but they stuck to the salad bar (bananas especially). I felt our lead waiter could have been a bit more attentive, but we were not ignored, either. This is not for regular dining. But, if you want a special and different dining experience, check out Fogo de Chao.

We miss the Brazilian waiters. We lived in Brazil for a couple of years and looked forward to practicing Portuguese with them. The Cubans didn't quite know what we were saying.

Never received Mash potatoes, meat was cold, they charged my card three times and had it for 30minutes prior to. It declined the last time that’s why they let me know, it didn’t work. Tried to charge me a total of $150 for a $39 meal then I am a fogo member and know the meats I eat. The man didn’t believe me when I said that. Like I’m too stupid to know my meats. Did I say I never got mash’s till last 10 minutes of meal, after being there for almost 3 hours. Lucky we had reservations it was a 30/45 minute wait but even then we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. This was the worst. It’s never been bad. I love fogo. I’ve brought so many customers to fogo. Example this night, I brought my two little sisters whose never had fogo. Horrible first impression but I know the real. Hopefully the next visit will be better.

I would recommend the salad bar experience over the meat experience. For the price the meat experience is overrated and priced. Most of the cuts are sirloin based and the meat is chewy. The rib eye and tenderloin guys barely come around. I had to ask for one finally. If your more into pork, lamb, chicken then this is a great place to go. But for beef there are far better options then here.

I love this restaurant, but it is not consistent. This visit, it was near impossible to get medium rare meats. Only 2 of the 5 or 6 servers were good about knowing if they had medium rare and would tell me "I'll come back". The other ones just gave me medium+ cuts, which were wasted as I don't eat overcooked meat. When they are "on", they are "on" and this restaurant is amazing. This time was the first time I had issues with the cooking. More frequently the service is spotty. So although I love this restaurant, they need to work on their consistency.

Made a reservation at 8:45, thinking that was late enough so it wouldn’t be too busy. Showed up a little earlier to our reservation but they didn’t end up seating us till 9:07. Waited 30 minutes for our reservation seating. And they didn’t let us know when we got there that they were running behind. Thought that was disappointing

We were seated 15 minutes past reservation time. Tables are too close together and crowded. Server was rude and impatient. Restaurant felt frantic and not an enjoyable experience at all. Meat was chewy and either over or under cooked. Will not go back.

Fantastic!! The BEST restaurant in Portland!! Amazing steaks, actually the chicken with bacon and Pork with cheese are also delicious!! I loved the shrimp and lobster, then my father asked for a Dry Age steak and it was the best (by his words haha) he ever had!! Then the selection of desserts are great, we got a creme brulee, Papaya cream and key lime to share!! Wd highly recommend!!
