legacy west - Plano location . Came here to celebrate a birthday and job promotion. The service was slow and didn’t see our server very much . Had to ask for the side items of mashed potatoes and bread . We were never asked if we were celebrating anything special .
We didn’t have a chance voice our concerns, our server left the tablet for us to pay and we never saw her again .
Probably won’t be back to this location
Excellent food and service
Sat us by front door with crowd. Moved us a few feet away to bar. Had reservations @7:30. Table service finally around 8:45. Filet was good, lamb gamey but ok seasoning, chicken too salty, other meats too tough. It will be another 25 years if we go again.
Took family out for my son’s birthday. Called in they said we couldn’t get in until 9 we go in-line get a reservation for 7:30. Why? Wasn’t impressed at all with service or atmosphere . They put us in the corner in the Bar, family b -day dinner. Super crowded, loud and very hot. Service wasn’t good I guess because they were so busy. Kept waiting on a larger plate instead of the smaller bread plate waiter was overwhelmed. We went over 30 minutes just sitting there waiting for servers to bring meat over. Finally had to request to be moved to another section so we could be served Just a bad experience that was almost 300 dollars. Just crazy. Not a good b day dinner. High end dinner that needed high end service. Very disappointed
Easily the worst experience we have ever had at a Brazilian steakhouse. Food was very slow to come out. Waiter would disappear for 20 minutes at a time. We had to flag down other staff to get drinks, plates and food. Very disappointing.
Severs were great as usual
Literally my only complaint is to the kids running around the restaurant. I mean like playing tag running. Other than that good and service was wonderful!
Normally, the service is excellent. However, my latest experience was certainly a step down. The gauchos did not bring food consistently, I am not sure that we even had the opportunity for every cut of meat.
I plan to go back as history suggests this is a one time event, but a repeat of last night's performance will probably see me going elsewhere in the future.
Good experience. We did the full service lunch and mentioned milestone birthday celebration in the reservation, but they didn’t do anything special, unfortunately. It wasn’t too busy for that. Good ambiance and good food. Some meats were too salty. Ribeye was the favorite.
Had dinner at Fogo de Chao recently for a birthday celebration. It was a great choice! Our server Kam was very engaging, friendly, and knowledgeable. The meats were well prepared and very delicious. My only complaint was that they only came around once with the honey cheese, despite multiple requests for another serving. All in all, it was a fun way to celebrate.
Wonderful evening. The food was great and the servers were wonderful!
I’ve been to many FdC around the US and have enjoyed the quality of food and experience.
However, the Plano location was a disappointment. The experience started off well, but ended badly. About halfway through the meal, our waitress was no where to be found. We asked others who walked by for drink refills, Brazilian cheese bread that we never got, certain cuts of meat, and never got any (and yes, our indicator was on green).
When I went up to the hostess stand, I asked for our waitress and another waitress came up and immediately cleared off our table and gave us our check. For an “all you can eat place”, we still left hungry.
I picked this place for my birthday dinner with my folks who were visiting from out of town and they couldn’t understand why I hyped up the experience beforehand only to be let down.
I contacted the store manager and he offered that if I came back in, he’d like to re-do the experience for me. I’m doubtful that I want to spend that much on a meal to chance another mediocre experience.
We're troubled by your words, as we love serving delicious meals and amazing experiences that ensure your satisfaction. We hope you award us a second chance in the future, as we'd love to deliver a better time.
Most of the meats were good but the Picanha and some other la were extremely salty.
The service went down as our meal did to the point that when we wanted to ask for extra meats or bread no one would stop when called.
During COVID it is sad they have the tables so extremely close to the point that you can reach the people on the other tables by simply stretching out.
I love Fogo but my last two experiences at this location have been discouraging. Between really slow initial contact during both visits to the long waits without an entree on this visit have me shifting my thinking about another visit to Fogo-Plano. Additionally, this property is so big (no fault of their own) that when all tables are sat, it’s gets really loud. (I recognize this Industry took a big hit during covid so I am happy for them but it does not work for me for a meal of this style and cost) In the future, I will seek another restaurant for a quiet- high end steakhouse.
We apologize for the noisy experience, as we never want you to feel uncomfortable when dining with us. When you're willing, visit us again, as we would love to work towards earning your support and satisfaction. Thank you.
It was our 35th anniversary. We had only been to Fogo once before in San Antonio, and had a great evening. We heard that the Plano location was their HQ, and had high hopes. The food was fantastic. Our primary hostess did an amazing job. The people bringing the meats were satisfactory, but not even close to our previous experience. The Ambiance was horrible. Felt like we were dining in a cheap banquet hall. Very disappointing for what we hoped would be a romantic evening.
We appreciate you visiting to celebrate your anniversary, but we're sorry we did not meet your complete expectations. Feedback helps us to improve, so we appreciate you sharing yours, and we hope you'll give us another opportunity to regain your confidence. Thank you.
Food was good but slow.
We changed waitress three times and the last ones was not good taking out the plates.
This Fogo de Chao is the Headquarters and crown jewel of them all. There is never a tough bite or bad service here. This is truly the way to experience Fogo de Chao and it has become my favorite restaurant of all time. The location is great, the decor is elegant but yet not pretentious and the quality of every cut of meat is outstanding and cooked to perfection. While perfect for dinners of any occasion, there is no better deal than a Fogo Lunch.
Great food, professional staff, we were bothered by a couple of gnats for a good portion of our time there.
Server went on "break" about 10 minutes after we were seated and we never saw him again. I blame this on management. You knew the guy was working a double and needed a break; he should not have been seated within 20 minutes of his break. This would allow him to finish up open tables and not leave guests wondering if one of the others two servers tasked with "watching" the table would actually watch the table. Just give it to one of them; they are doing all the work. At first neither of the two servers paid us much attention, but a little over halfway through they did actually start taking care of us. And stop pooling tips! Yes we asked if the servers actually serving us would get the tip and they said tips are pooled. Slacker servers are the only ones that benefit from this ridiculous practice.
The food was lack luster at best. We basically just ate different cuts of beef that tasted slightly different. The Filet was awful. Bacon wrapped chicken was dry and overcooked. We remembered this place being so much better the last time we ate here. There were times where there was not a single person serving meat and times when even with the RED up they tried to give us meat. The salad/food bar was lacking as well.
And only one stall working in the restroom.
Sadly the overall experience was very disappointing.
Our team is saddened to read of your disappointment in your visit. We work hard to provide positive experiences, so we're sorry we missed the mark. We will review your feedback and use it to improve, and we hope we can work to regain your confidence.
Excellent service from all the stuff. Specially the server Michael K he was excellent, polite, professional. We are looking forward dining there for many more time to come.
Celebrating son and grandsons birthdays. Made 7 pm reservation. Because they had overbooked so profusely we had a 45 minute wait to get seated.
Have been to this particular location many times and never experienced this before.
Food is always excellent.
Our server was wonderful and the staff was very friendly and informative. They kept the drinks flowing and the ambience was on point.
Excellent products and service. The lamb chops are the best I have ever had!
Just maybe step it up to the quality level it was before COVID but I understand it will take some time.
It was my wife’s birthday and they treated us with the utmost respect. Everyone was very nice and professional. Would 100% go back.
Just awesome as always
Great time for lunch. We enjoyed just the market table and thoroughly enjoyed it!
The flies were awful
Much better experience than last time. Interesting that they do not have all meats coming around unless you ask for them specifically and then they will cook them. Beef rib was awful. Very dry and tough. Overall happy and positive experience.
We booked our table for 7:15 but we had to wait until 7:45 until we got seated.
We always want to meet or exceed your high hopes, so it's disheartening to learn that we let you down. It's our sincere hope that you'll consider giving us another chance to provide you with a wonderful experience in the future.
The food was amazing. We found the atmosphere to be extremely loud and very busy. We dined on a Saturday, however there were just too many people in the restaurant. Otherwise, the experience is always amazing.
Anniversary dinner was great. Good was impeccable and the atmosphere was comfortable. We enjoyed our time a lot!
The only issue we have with Fogo is that recently when we visit, several folks are walking by with drinks or speciality meats which is an addon. Just inform the customer if it’s an addon. Not doing so odd pretty sneaky when you already pay a decent sum for food.
This is the best Fogo de Chao in DFW, excellent service - Eric is the best server - very attentive and he was training another waitress
Our server Michael K was amazing!!
Service and Ambiance was really bad. Food was decent.
While we're glad you enjoyed your meal, we apologize for this, as our team should always deliver attentive and thorough service. We welcome you to return in the future, as we are confident we can earn your full satisfaction.
Great food and vibes. I would definitely recommend this spot
Second time here after an outstanding first experience. It is probably a mistake to be there during weekend dinner. Compared to the first time service was sub par. We were seated quickly and the person at our table gave a rundown of the options and then disappeared. We never saw him or anybody else after that. Towards the end of the meal we had to ask other waiters for water or extra bread. Btw near the end of the meal we were offered the extras like fries or mashed potatoes which are part of the dinner anyways. Nobody even asked us if we want to have desserts. They were keen on getting the plates cleared out so that other diners can be seated.
Our service should always be fantastic, so it's disappointing to hear we let you down. We appreciate your feedback, and we hope to deliver you a better experience in the future.
We went with my fiancee’s son to dinner to celebrate his birthday. Ambiance and service were great, unfortunately the food not so much. While the salad bar is excellent the meats were not. All over the place, most too salty some too dry. Either overcooked or too rare. Hard to get the right cut. I find it best when restaurants like these aren’t busy.
We apologize for delivering you such an experience, especially since you were here to celebrate a birthday. We should always be delivering top-notch, memorable experiences, so we hope we can encourage you to give us another try. Thank you.
