Drinks were great we tried four different options.
Salad bar was just enough; then the assortment of fresh fired proteins from the grill were overflowing!
House special was invigorating but the sirloin was my favorite!

The meat selections and quality of each was very good.
Loved how attentive the service was. There’s a great team at this location. We were taken care of exceptionally by at least 5 different people during our visit.
Restaurant decor and ambience was great. The large salad/food bar was really good. The cocktails and wine were great.
The problems came when it came time to be served. They have so many more kinds of meats that were never presented or offered to us. We had to ask for the sides. They seemed to be understaffed with gauchos. I have never been to a Fogo de Chão where I didn’t have to turn my red/green meat service table marker to red to stop them from offering us more meat. We actually sat for long periods of time with plates completely devoid of meat. I think we had five different types of meat offered to us all night. Never any chicken. Never any of the sausages. Nothing pork except for a pork rib. No lamb cuts were offered. Just very disappointing considering what is usually served. I had asked for some horseradish and was asked if I wanted creamed or dry and I requested the dry but never received it. Very slow to serve reordered drinks. Ordered desserts and took 20 minutes to receive. I have eaten at these restaurants for 30 years and this was the worst ever service. I’m not accustomed to that kind of service at these restaurants.

Wonderful experience. The food was great, atmosphere was relaxing, service was outstanding. Keeshan was our waiter and was incredibly kind and helpful. He made the experience great. Will be coming back soon!
We went for the full experience but the service was extremely slow. The stretch from one round to another lasted for as long as 10 to 15 minutes despite mentioning it to the server. At some instances they just by passed us with skewers without offering. Food taste was good but overall experience was very poor.
Perfect place for a date night, family night or any night! From the parking to the welcome to the food, my wife and I had an incredible experience. Located at Legacy west you are already surrounded by a great vibe and ambience. The parking garage is clean, safe and had plenty of spots plus there is valet parking at Fogo. We also used open table to reserve our dinner seats so walked straight in and to our table. The hostess and our waiter were very welcoming and treated us as if they were there just for us. The manager also checked on us twice.
Now to the food. This was the best eating experience I had ever had. The salad bar is like a salad bar that you have never seen. Unique and delicious options that keep you circling for more and more, but pace yourself because you need to save plenty of room for the meat. For your first experience you have to do the continuous meat option. Chefs come to your table when you are ready and keep coming with the best cuts of so many different types of meats. At first you will want to ask for multiple cuts of the same meats but I would suggest you fill your plate with different cuts then turn over the card on your table that let's the chefs know your good for now. This allows you to take your time tasting the meats and helping you figure out which one(s) you enjoy best. When you turn the card back over the chefs will be back with more meat. They are amazing! For even quicker service your waiter can get the specific cuts of meat for you. The price for the meal is higher then most places but we knew this going in. So worth it! You wont be disappointed. Go to Fogo and you will recommend it to others the moment you are finished.
Service was all over the place. Bill was $150. Some of the meat cuts were overcooked and some were cooked perfectly. By overcooked I mean it was hard to eat cause it was very chewy and dry. The seasoning didn't seem any different than a basic salt and pepper, nothing special. Waiting to eat the next small cut of meat was not a satisfying experience for the amount of money we spent. We had to get my own plate just to get served anything. The waiter tried using tactics to get us stuff that was not part of "the experience" which we did not appreciate. We come to very nice restaurants for a treat and the experience and I feel this was not worth it because of the way it's set up from up top. We would have rather gone to a more traditional steakhouse where we are not left hanging on what happens next.
My husband and I were really not happy with the food. We’ve been to similar restaurants and the food was noticeably better at other restaurants. Meats were tough and cooked well done, hardly any flavor. The lamb tasted old, which was disappointing because we love lamb. Our cards stayed green the entire time and the amount of meats presented were few and far in between.
There was a very large party in our area so our table was continuously overlooked. We had to stop servers several times to ask for certain meats and they still overlooked our table. Our waitress was very nice but seemed incredibly overwhelmed. She walked past our table several times without asking if we were ok. We asked for more water and never received. We didn’t make a stink about anything but our dessert was comped which was thoughtful. We had to box our own desserts and weren’t offered a bag, when we asked for one we were told that they were very busy and ran out. Everyone was polite but for we we paid for our dinner the service could have been a little more attentive. We stopped going to the Addison location because the service had gotten so bad but tonight the Plano location wasn’t much better.
Took a while to get our drinks out, food was phenomenal, felt like we were rushed out. I was in the middle of waiting for more meat with my card showing on green and the table cleaner went for our plates before I could even finish answering yes or no to whether we had finished dining which clearly I wasn’t with the green card facing up, but I didn’t know how to react to this we were having a great dinner until that. Then we sat at the table with no food or drinks waiting for our check until we finally asked for it about 20 minutes later. Overall the food was amazing but for the price I was expecting much much better service than what we received.

This was our first time at this location. We normally dine at the Fogo in Addison. Our table greeter/waitress only approached us twice (once to get drink order and once to deliver them) and never came back to our table again. I gave her a drink order for a specialty lemonade after our water was delivered. 20 minutes later when the drink still had not arrived I had to flag someone down to ask about it. In Addison all the wait staff is attentive and we would have dirty plates promptly removed and replaced. In Plano, We had to ask 3 separate times about getting clean plates. I ordered another lemonade and after 10 minutes of waiting had to flag down a floor manager to inquire about it. He got it delivered but I guess it created confusion at the bar because 20 minutes later (when my 2nd lemonade was already consumed) and we were about to leave (had already paid even) another lemonade gets dropped off at the table and the server rushes off. The gauchos were not as attentive either. Our table of 5, and another table of 2 near us, got passed by multiple times while we had our cards flipped to green and they failed to even look at our tables. Plano location was also terrible at restocking mashed potatoes and fried polenta. We are used to a steady flow of those sides as soon as they are out on our table and each time we had to find someone and ask for more. Honestly, it felt like our table was being ignored. I will say, the floor manager that was there that day was working his tail off. Wish I caught his name. He was clearing tables, refilling, drinks, helping take orders, refilling clean plates, stocking the side station, etc. There was plenty of staff the day we went so it didn't feel like a short-staff situation. He was absolutely the hardest working one there.
We have been to Fogo several times before Friday and have liked it very much. Unfortunately the food on Friday was not good at all. Maybe because it was Valentine’s Day? The sirloin was really tough and the ribs were very chewy. The lemon pepper chicken tasted like they had used an entire dozen lemons on one piece of chicken. The gauchos with the food came by 6 times only. So we only got 6 pieces of food and 4 of them were bad.
Definitely not going back on a special occasion.
Valentine’s Day to Remember
The food was great but the service was a bit slow. Understandably so as it was valentine's but maybe up the staff for those kind of nights.
The only real complaint we had - if you have a reservation for a set time and show up 10 min early before your reservation time, there is no excuse for having to wait 30 min past your reservation time to be seated. People make reservations for a reason and have schedules to keep. If the restaurant is going to accept reservations for set times - they need to be mindful and respectful of their customers time and HONOR the reservations as scheduled.
Made a reservation weeks ago and we had to wait over 30 minutes for our table. I then did not appreciate your hostess response when I asked how long it was going to be when checking in? I certainly think It was a reasonable question with everyone waiting. Just because people “checked in” before me, I checked in 5 min prior to my appointment/reservation. If I was 30 mins late for my reservation, would you still seat me? Nope you wouldn’t. So, why should we accept that? Also the restaurant was incredibly loud and crowded. Our original bill was wrong when someone added a whole bottle of wine when we had sparkling water. When when our waitress asked what kind of water we wanted; I thought you had in house sparkling water. She could have said Pellegrino. The $4.00 is not a big deal but a point on how I feel it was snuck in. Just really disappointed.
Great service, great food
The service was terrible. We had to wait 30 minutes for a cocktail and had to keep asking for food. The waitress laid the check on our table without even a thank you. Worst Fogo we’ve been to.
Just not on Valentines day. We were out in an area on the restaurant we'd never even seen before. The waiters didn't come in the room at all. We had to continue to get the attention of an employee in the room to get the waiters to come to our table or we would've starved to death
Fogo de Chao was amazing. We have been to EG steakhouse in the past and found it very similar. I personally recommend Fogo de Chao over EG. Due to the ambiance and the experience. It is much more lit up, not as crowded seating, kind outgoing staff. Overall I found it more welcoming and less “exclusive” as EG came off as. The staff was fast and quick with service and our server was amazing. Will definitely be back in the future for events and recommend it to family and friends.
Terribly slow service for meat deliveries. INCORRECT BILL. We were charged dinner prices for the lunch menu. It took half an hour to get the corrections. We were charged almost $20 for 2 glasses of champagne that was brought to our table as complimentary drinks.
First time ever coming to a Fogo de Chão but my husband has gone quite a few times to the Addison location. The ambient was very loud overall but beautiful. The food was very good but not a lot of variety (my husband is saying the Addison selection is better). Service at the beginning was ok but it became exceptional once the manager Nicolau stepped in and made our from something forgettable to something memorable.
It was amazing, food was great, service was great as well. Definitely want to come back.
I was not happy because we were table at middle of the road. It is hard for waitress came and serve meat for us. I will not be back with large group , maybe for couple only
Hospitality and food was great. We had a reservation and still had to wait 20 minutes, to be sat in a corner table shared with the wall on one side, where we were seated we weren’t noticed half the time by the runners. We will return but, just a dissatisfying visit.
