Some of the cuts of meat were a bit dry and overcooked. The waffle iron was not working. Some of the salad bar items were not available.
We had to wait about 30 minutes from when we checked in for our 7:30 reservation to be seated, which isn't too big of a deal, it's a Saturday night and they had a lot of large parties. My parents and I sat at the bar and had a drink while we waited. My only complaint was there were only 2 bartenders (that I could see) working. For a restaurant as big as Fogo, and for how busy it was, they should have had more bartenders. Once we sat down our server Alejandra was WONDERFUL! She was bright and happy and went out of her way to ensure my parents and I had the best experience possible. All of the managers were extremely friendly and made sure all of our favorite cuts and sides were coming our way.
Service was miserable.. I’m a regular at Fogo, and this location did not match their normal. Very disappointed
Go hungry the food is delicious and the service was excellent! Looking forward to going back!
I spent my birthday here and it was amazing. My first steakhouse and the bar is definitely set high
We had never been, but highly recommend. The food and service was fantastic. Make sure and come very hungry...allot of food to sample!
THis was my second bad experience at this location. THe meats were not well seasoned and typically under cooked or at the other extreme and dried up. Also the signature meat cuts only came out twice and only tiny cuts were offered. The emphasis was on filling us with cheaper cuts and sausage, I felt rippef off.
What an abysmal experience. When the server freely acknowledges that he is giving you horrific service, you know something is wrong. We have been frequent guests of Fogo over the years. In fact, we even celebrated Mother’s Day there, this year. Sunday night was as bad as it gets. The manager ended up comping our meal after spilling a glass of water on me. We will not be back.
Food was great and Miguel's service to our table was outstanding.
The meat was incredibly slow and few and far between. I have been to Fogo across the country over 50 times (second time to this location) and this was one of the worst dining experiences I have had there. I requested certain meets at least 15 times. And when it finally did come out they went to different tables first. We have other similar Brazilian restaurants in the area and they are significantly better.
Just did not love that our table was right next to a cart full of dishes and where the staff would go to get things they needed. Otherwise, perfect.
The service was phenomenal, the meat choices that were brought to the table were excellent, we were pleasantly surprised at how amazing the Brazilian grilled cheese with honey was, yum! We will be back!
The only thing better than the dinning experience is the service!
A fair value. The primary waitress was not great. The meat servers were nice. The variety of meats was disappointing in that they seemed to serve the same "top sirlion" over-and-over as well as a few of the others. You had to ask (multiple times) for the other meats that are more speciality or of a higher quality and we still never got lamb, filet mignon or their parmesean covered pork. The salad bar wasn't stocked with food and we had an early reservation (6:45) and it was half-empty when we had dinner. We were told by the staff that they were under-staffed (only one-chef, ouch). I expected better and got less. For a quality restaurant and at their prices, they should be doing a better job.
I went to foto de chão with my fiancé for the first time to celebrate our 1 yr. Anniversary of dating. We loved the experience so much and the location. Staff was very courteous and friendly.
Typically the service is very good but it always takes long to pay. This time everything was off - food, service, and the very long time it took to pay the bill. They always make a mistake on the bill too. I only get the salad bar but they always charge me the full price and we always have to get it corrected. Do they hope you don’t catch it? We may need a little break.
Excellent salad bar and food though we got passed by several times even when we had the green side up. Some people with a noisy baby who didn't give a stuff about others in the restaurant trying to enjoy their meal knocks a bit off. Otherwise good food, just a bit left behind on the food.
Service was great the salad bar did not have a lot of choices
It was our anniversary! The staff was amazing and the service was top notch!
We are regulars at Fogo’s in DFW, and generally the service is very good, but we have found that certain tables and areas get poor service. This visit we were not in the main dining area, but in one of the rooms off to the side. We appeared to be last on the circuit of meats, and more often than not, had poor choices. It only improved when we made special requests that our area was first on the circuit.
The waiter/waitress service for our table was very good - it was the meat delivery that was average/poor.
We will return as Fogo is one of our favorite restaurants, however I will be very specific on areas that I will not accept being seated at.
Food n ambience was very good. Service was excellent
We love the Addison location. First time at the Plano location and would not go back.
The servers took forever to come with well seasoned meats. We ended up eating a lot more from the salad bar than the actual meat. Dessert was not included either which was pretty strange for the all inclusive package. Don’t think i will be going back to this location.
The food never fails absolutely delicious! However the wait time even with reservations is absurd. It is pointless to make reservations when we can’t get a table until over 30 minutes after. I’m not sure what kind of system they use or how they prioritize seating their parties, but I was not happy about that. The service was great as well, just wish we wouldn’t have had to ask for things one by one, but instead we could’ve had someone that gave our table more attention. However, it was Father’s Day and they were busy so I give them credit and blame the high volume of guest to this issue. We love the place however we hope that all the tables would get the same amount of attention.
We had made reservations for 645 and had to wait to be seated then we were disappointed by the Decour it look more like a cafeteria
This service was terrible. They had no bread for about 30 minutes. They ran out of the sweet pineapple. My husband had to flag them down in order to get his meat. It was extremely noisy and we will not be returning there again
We have been to this location several times, but this experience was terrible. I was there with my husband, 2 kids and another family member. Over and over the men were offered meats and the servers would walk right past me (yes my circle was on green) they overlooked me almost every time. The service overall was poor and the food wasn’t cooked as good as usual.
I thought the food was ok. I was hoping it was going to be better than Texas de Brasil but in my opinion it wasn't. The service was great, but after dinner it took a while to find my car. During dinner my wife was served alcohol with her cappuccino and she thought it was a vanilla flavoring which was funny cause we don't drink and we didn't know. We laughed at it. Overall it was ok.
Can't go wrong having dinner here. Pricey but oh so worth it. Carnivorous hubby was a happy camper. When waiters come around with various meats on skewers ready to slice off a hunk of goodness right onto your plate, how could that get any better? The parmesan pork was my personal favorite. I saw a lot of things go past: sausage, pork tenderloins, rib eye, all cooked to perfection.
It was ok. The vegetables and fruit were not nearly as fresh as other locations I’ve been to. Also, all the meat at this location has a wild game flavor that I have not experienced at other locations
Fathers day and an anniversary
Service was great. Good even better. Great variety of meats
Excellent restaurant experience
Our daughters 13th birthday
Love having lunch with the girls here. Beautiful restaurant, service is great, no rushing you.
We typically dine at the Addison location, but a storm had knocked out their power. They graciously transferred our reservation and though we prefer the easy parking in Addison, this location is beautiful and the food was nearly identical. We had an AWFUL time with a group seated next to us blasting music on their cell phone and screaming about hoe much money they were spending (classless), but the staff moved us upon request and all was well, once again.
It was our 12th Fogo location and was one of the best. Service was excellent! All meats were prepared exactly to our liking. Very spacious and not noisy. Tried the new pork belly and it was delicious! Highly recommend.
Great food and excellent service!
We are frequent patrons of the Addison-Dallas, TX location. Last night, we tried the new Plano Location since it is closed to home. It was a great disappointment. The meat was not marinated correctly, overcooked or completely undercooked. Too slow of services. Perhaps, you should send the mgr / Chefs from the Addison, TX up there for a month for training this location. This must be improved. We ate at DC, Atlanta, Houston locations... never seen such bad meat. The cooked plantain/banana was hard as a rock & dried.
Had a great time as always. Looking forward to coming back.
