Fogo de Chão is a leading Brazilian steakhouse, or churrascaria, which has specialized in fire-roasting high-quality meats since 1979 utilizing the centuries-old Southern Brazilian cooking technique of churrasco. Well the "buffet" part was very empty and only had rice beans in the hot section cold stuff was very picked over and for it being a sat it should not have been. The waitress explained our order and never came back we had to ask multiple ppl to bring meats to our table cause they were not serving alot we did do the 49 person and hardly hot meat at our table. The water guy spilled water on my plate and said opps and walked away left it there horrible finally someone got our waitress to give us the check as she could see we didnt eat didnt seem to care gave us the tablet to pay waited over my husband's shoulder and said ya there is were u put the tip um he being him gave her a tip but as soon as he put it in she walked away we had to ask the busser to get us a receipt she just left the tablet and that was it she got her money and was out over all bad experiences and I see why texas de Brazil is always packed very good food and very personable I spent 200 here and ruined my bday dinner I will make sure no one I know eats here

Had Sunday brunch with a group of friends. All loved the experience. All of us partook of the $28.95 Market Table Brunch which was recently upgraded to include a made-to-order omelet station and mini Belgian waffles. If you've not experienced the Market Table which is available during every meal time, it includes offerings you wouldn't believe featuring seasonal salads, soups, exotic vegetables, smoked salmon, imported cheese and more. All high quality ingredients...this ain't no Holiday Inn salad bar! :)

I eat here at least once a month and the place always seems to improve! Although I didn't care for the "extra" ingredients in the chicken salad, the place still hit the spot!

Excellent and friendly service. Delicious food. We had the Sunday brunch and they had a nice variety of food at the salad bar as well as the meats that were brought to our table.

We arrived and told the hostess our name. She looked at her list and said "oh, hang on" and left to find a table.

The lights are way too bright for any soft ambience--thought the cleaning crew might be coming in. Service very uneven. The waiter was new, so some can be forgiven. Drinks were forgotten. Was on main course when my preprandial finally arrived. There are no aperitifs--none! We got all the way through dinner with only one glass of wine; never offered another.

We went up to the charcuterie island and someone who didn't know what caper berries are, planted the sign far over next to the wrong item. I fixed that. Then we saw soup, which unlike other things, one cannot identify by sight, but there was no sign. It was ginger-carrot soup--great, but there were no bowls. And none appeared when I checked back. Finally, I grabbed a waiter who said "we're working on that".

The Gauchos who deliver the various main course meats attempted to service it on the, now dirty, plates from the charcuterie island. We had to ask for clean plates.

We got mashed potatoes, polenta, and fried bananas long before main course. I thought it strange there were no fried plantains. Then after eating these and before the main courses arrived, we were asked if we wanted dessert. But after eating the main courses, we were told that the kitchen staff was gone and there was no dessert. There were people who had arrived after us still eating. Luckly two managers overheard and were astounded. They got us deserts.

At least no one asked us if we were "still working on that?"

Luckily we were in a good mood and were laughing. We felt sorry for the waiter who was very nice. It seems that two extra tables got assigned to him and he is new. Guess they were short of waiters and that's why we got the greeting at the door like deer in the headlights.

The food is good and we enjoyed it. Some of the other things are like the Three Stooges. No my first or last visit

The food is always good there. It’s the service that lacks. You have multiple servers which means that nobody really takes care of you. We were asked multiple times by different people,”has anyone talked to you yet?”. It got really annoying. Our drinks came long after we started dinner. The servers with the meat came often and were lovely. We just couldn’t get drinks or our check when we wanted them.

AWFUL - I was with one of my clients and we sat down and ordered with the waitress of what we wanted for lunch. My client wanted to salad bar and I ask for the gaucho chicken lunch. She immediately walked away and never got our drink order. We went around the salad bar and came back and no asked what we wanted to drink. Ten minutes later someone came up and asked if we got our drinks (we were done with our first plate). We asked for two diet cokes and they ended up being flat. They said there was a problem with their ice machine. We asked for two more diet cokes and they were still flat. We never ended up getting any bread for the table, mash potatoes were cold, and I never got my chicken for my gaucho lunch. By the end we were ready to leave and no one came up to us for 15 minutes until I had to go to the bar and ask for the check. Very disappointing experience at Fogo De Chao.

The place gave a vague feeling of disorganization. We were sat at our table promptly. The waiter was very solicitous. But it seemed as if they were not ready for the Father’s Day rush. We didn’t get the hot sauce we asked for as they “were making it from scratch”. Salad bar was great. The bottom sirloin was over cooked & dry. But then you never know which meat was going to be over-cooked until you bit into it. The lamb, top sirloin& Parmesan encrusted pork were the best.

I would recommend to a friend tell them to stay away from the drinks, they are to expensive and if you do not like what you order they will not exchange it for something else and will still charge you the full price. The food was excellent. It was a little noisey with the different parties going on. The sign out front was a little deceiving, when asked about it was told that was the price for a different experience.

Elegant space. Excellent food. Unobtrusive service. Warm, parmesan flavored, gluten-free rolls that melt in your mouth. Carrot ginger soup is first rate. Market table is filled with vegetables, healthy salads, smoked salmon, cheeses, olives, lettuces, etc. If you crave chicken or meat, the gauchos serve you.

Food was good, but service level was abhorrent. Especially considering it was Sunday night and not busy at all. Drinks took 15 minutes, and came back wrong. The servers worked as a team, but didn’t communicate with each other. Some serious training is needed of these folks.

I have probably eaten at 8 different locations over the years, Pittsburgh was by far the worst store.

Weird vibe on atmosphere. Overall, feel was more modern at this store. From my seat, I could see an employee hallway with a bulletin board w employee postings. Strange that I could see that.

I would not likely return to this location.

Always a great meal. We eat plant based and they happen to have the very best salad bar in the city I think with very unique veg items that you usually don’t see at other salad bars. They generally have a plant based soup also next to the salad bar and rice and beans. Ask for the Market Table. That is what the soup and salad bar meal is called. The service is excellent and it is nice to have a sit down meal in a beautiful restaurant with white tablecloths. I know you will enjoy!

Great festive atmosphere, attentive wait staff and gauchos (table service by committee) and excellent quality food throughout from the Market Table “salad bar” that could be a full meal complete with meats and cheeses, antipasti, rice, beans, soup and oh yes, multiple types of salads, all the way to each type of stomach capacity testing grilled meat (I counted at least 8 variations but there were probably more, plus extra sides! Amazing experience!

We’ve been to a Brazilian steakhouse literally within walking distance that has much better service, a much more extensive salad/sides area with fantastic seafood and sushi options, plus it’s slightly cheaper.
When we waited for a while for our wine, we were told, “You’re wine is not here because we’re out of it.” Never apologized. Did not have a wine list for us to review. I actually have no idea what we drank. When I asked, she told us she thought it was something but really didn’t know.
We will return to our Texas Brazilian steakhouse and not Fogo.

Went here for a dinner date celebrating my significant others birthday and we really enjoyed our dining experience! The food was good but what really topped our experience was the customer service!!! 10/10 would definitely recommend and we’ll definitely be back! Thanks 🥰🥰🥰🥰

After having spent 9 months in Brazil, they have captured the true essence of a Brazilian Steakhouse. Only thing missing was quail eggs and chicken hearts. Service was extremely good and food quality excellent. Good atmosphere in the place.

No one explained the different cost levels nor did they inform us about the restaurant month special; although, ended up getting the special which included dessert. The waiter kept saying do is everyone getting the Fogo experience, which of course was the most expensive selection. The happy hour prices for the drinks are definitely a bargain.

We waited sooo long for drinks from the bar it took 30 mins for beer and wine. I guess I shouldn’t complain about that, it probably saved our group 100s of dollars. Also, our table was extremely close to the one next to us but a lot of room On the other side. They need to set it their room better. Finally the meet was either raw or well done, most of the time, way over cooked. Not a lot of medium, how most people like it. The salad bar was good and the meat that was cooked appropriately tasted great.
