Redicliusly overpriced! Everything was extremely oversalted! Beautiful restaurant, otherwise.
They make you think you have many choices but that’s not the case. Mostly they bring by sausages and tough cuts of meat. We got the churasco and thought we’d get various cuts of beef, lamb, and chicken but we didn’t.
It was very casual but cramped. The food was good the staff was great. The servers where excellent and the manager came around often to check on us. They weren’t that friendly At bar but everything else was cool. I think next time I will get an entree instead of the full experience because the selection was limited compared to neighboring Brazilian restaurants. But I had a great time.
The regular female waiters were great. In 90 minutes we had 4 stops for sliced meat!!!!! Twice chicken. We had to ask for service more then once. Also had to ask repeatedly for the better cuts such as filet and lamb chops. It was early so uncrowded there’s for no excite. However we were told twice the meat was cooking?!!? Shouldn’t it be ready we your reserved tables arrive? Not the time to be cutting corners. 6th visit, 2nd bad visit, 1st post pandemic closure. 278.00 with a drink a gratuity for 3 people! Not worth it. Very disappointing.
We appreciate you sharing your concerns with us, as we always want to ensure your needs are met. We truly apologize for keeping you waiting for those cuts, as we should be continuously circulating with options. We will be sure to reach out via direct message, in hopes of making this right. Thank you.
Anniversary dinner. Wife said there was literally too much meat. Recommend the full experience.
The waiters & waitresses really made my experience, but the hostesses were so rude I was close to canceling my reservation.
We are truly sorry to hear of such an experience, as our team should always be delivering fine-dining experiences and upholding our professional standards. We'll be sure to send you a direct message shortly, as we'd love to regain your support and learn more of your visit. Thank you.
It is decent restaurant but I been to better Fogo
One of my favorite places to dine at. They never disappoint
Food was great. Our waitress wasn’t present and didn’t have the wine we wanted.
Our host and the meat were spectacular!
Great service and the beef kept coming. Good selection of South American wines, fairly priced. Hope to visit again next time in Philadelphia
This Fogo is by far the best. We come here to celebrate all of our special occasions and it always has incredible service and staff. The only thing is that the restaurant was VERY crowded and the tables were packed very close together. Aside from that it was great!
Always a great outing for a special occasion or just as a treat.
Food was very good. The problem was the place was packed, and they did not appear to have enough employees to handle the crowd. Had to wait long times for various items which were ordered, such as tea and coffee. We have been to the Fogo de Chao in King of Prussia. With a totally different experience. KOP was quiet and the staff was extremely attentive.
Birthday for a roommate. It was a wonderful evening with great food and drinks.
Service was so nice and quick with everything
Our server was very nice and proficient. The food was delicious. Everything had so much flavor! My only complaint is that when you sit down they come over with the two best cuts of meat and then you don’t see the red meat again. I flagged down “the sirloin” guy toward the end because we wanted more steak. He was happy to oblige but I think they only hit each table once.
This is a one of a kind experience got a chance to go on a father daughter date and show her how a man is supposed to treat her. The staff was exceptional and my daughter was highly impressed.
Great food and great service but the price is too high for what is affectively a buffet.
While we're glad to have earned your great comments, we're saddened to read you did not find value in this. We strive to deliver quality meals, and it's our hope to have another chance to earn your support. Please consider returning, as we'd love to serve you again.
We have dined at Fogo many times, though this was the first time since before the pandemic started. To be perfectly honest, it was a disappointing experience. It took forever and a day to get our drink order (which arrived well after we started eating). And, the servers continually brought the cheapest meat cuts, over and over. We had to ask in order to get the good stuff.... and for $62 a piece, that should not have been necessary. Ordered a glass of red wine and it came warm AND served with a wine glass that had just came out of the dishwasher. Ridiculous, especially at this price point. So, I think Fogo needs to step up its game. We'll hit Chima or Picanha Grill next time around (and spend a lot less money!)
Jeff, we're sorry we fell short of your expectations this time around. Please don't allow this to keep you from another visit, as we know we can deliver you the experience you know and love.
Service has definitely changed there. Waited 25-30 minutes for our ordered drinks. Had to order the same drink 3 times before they even got it in to the bar. Just not the same place as it once was. Charged us for things we didn’t order then seemed a little salty that we questioned it. Pretty much a shame of what we’ve come to with employment opportunities.
We're saddened that your recent experience wasn't a positive one, as providing consistently good food and service is always our aim. We'd love to have another chance to impress you, so we hope we can encourage you to give us another try.
I love this place...but I didn't like that they stop using the gloves for the buffet!! So bring your hand sanitizer!!
One of my favorite restaurants. This time felt that meat selection was lacking a bit. Gauchos we’re not the traditional Brazilian staff, left us wondering where did they go?
Still an excellent choice but could sense them still trying to recover from pandemic.
Everything was great! Meats were delicious
Over all was really good and enjoyed the experience!
Good spot every 6 months. Service was pretty good. Very clean. Recommended for groups.
The ambiance is what makes this a nice spot to visit, the food is kinda of over priced for what they have to offer which is basically tons of meat. I wouldn’t go back again but it was a good experience.
We ordered drinks. The water came but the soda never came. When the first meat option came around the man dumped the water all over the table. They came and cleaned it up and we asked for a soda again. I would say it took from the time we arrive until we got the soda about 30 minutes if not more. Before our table was soaked with water we only had one medallion with red and green to request or deny food. The girl said she would bring another. It wasn’t until our table was cleaned up that we got a second one when we asked for it again. The meat options were slim. The same two options of meat kept coming out. Lamp chops, and steak or chicken wrapped in bacon. Once in a great while a different meat would come around. Other people sitting near us were also complaining asking for different meats to come over in that area. Too many people were eating there I felt also. There were carts trying to get through and everything else. It just felt tight. This was not our first time here. We have been here many times but I just feel like the service and the selections offered have fallen off.
Making sure you leave with a wonderful and amazing experience has always been our goal, so hearing this is disappointing, as we never want a guest to think our quality has declined. We hope to make this up to you, so we'll be reaching out via direct message. Thank you.
I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. I eat at many Fogo de Chao and this by far was the worst in service I would never recommend anyone here.
1. Never saw the person that said her name was eve and she would be at our service. We sat like dummies.
2. When we flipped our cards to green no one came I had to waive them down if they even saw me or get up and walk over and ask for help.
3. If I was able to not pay the bill I would have chosen to do that.
4. This was the worst we were celebrating a special occasion and was ruined.
5. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone in Philadelphia.
Jeffrey, our team takes pride in delivering exceptional service, so we apologize for your wait time throughout your visit. It is our hope you visit in the future, as we are sure we can earn your complete satisfaction, so we'll be sure to send you a direct message shortly, as we'd love to discuss this further. Best.
Always so fun at Fogo! Staff was friendly, great night out!
The food was incredible, the service was outstanding, we were well taken care of the entire time. We were here for a special occasion, and the staff really celebrated us, and made it truly feel special. I would highly recommend this place.
Food was great! Left stuffed. Only thing is I didn’t know I could ask for specific meats, we kept getting the same meats brought to us and when I was full I noticed new things being brought out. Now I know for next time!
Beautiful dinner and night out with my wife. My all time favorite place to go for my birthday.
We're so glad to hear you enjoyed. Can't wait to have you back in!
Nice experience out. Beverage service on the slower side. Super crowded. Variety of meats come often.
I've eaten at a number of Fogo de Chao restaurants across the US, and quite a few similar places throughout Brazil. This is one of the better ones. The servers were very attentive, the meal was excellent, and I was even impressed with the martini I ordered -- I'm very finnicky about martinis. Highly recommend this restaurant.
I did not realize that this was a "buffet" style restaurant when I made reservations. We we disappointed that you could not just order a Filet, but must order the entire tasting experience. The Market Table food was just so so. There is NO childrens menu. They literally just have french fries for kids, which my child does not eat... so she left hungry because the market table selections were not kid friendly either. We will not be going back.
We're sorry to hear your meal did not meet your expectations, Amy, as we always want you to be blown away. We will be in touch via direct message to further address your concerns. Kind Regards.
It was great! Way less packed during lunch and the staff were very attentive to our needs. They specifically asked which cuts of meat we wanted and how we wanted them cooked, and then brought it over to our table. Lunch was a great deal!
Been here quite a few times but for some reason the food was not that great. The steak had a lot of fat in it and was very rubbery and not cooked well.
Every meal here at Fogo de Chão should be exceptional, so we are disappointed to hear we fell short. We hope you choose to visit us in the near future, as we'd love to make this right.
