Although it has an extensive cold food bar (including rare items such as palm hearts), the signature attraction here is the unlimited supply of grilled meats, cut from skewers at tableside. The meat is delicious, but the price is high at $60 per person. The high noise level, including music turned up to headache-inducing volume, detracted significantly from the experience. Bottom line: Good food if you’re fortunate enough that price doesn’t matter. If spending >$300 for dinner for four gives you pause, go elsewhere.
Great food, unique presentation. Service is a little to none from wait staff when it comes to new plates, drinks etc. Then they appear and start to rush you out the door. Meat is plentiful
We were there to celebrate our daughter’s graduation and everything went well. The service was excellent!! We had a great time.
The restaurant was great. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. Drinks were amazing as well.
Not my first time dining here. Shockingly on this visit, the salad bar was very lacking.
Was here mothers day and it was amazing!! Food was great, as well as service. Bring your appetite!
Great food !
Way too expensive. Food is very good. To a degree my own fault but the pricing for Mother’s Day was not on the regular price list.
We had a problem with one of the women at the front desk. We had an 8:30 reservation and was told that it would be a few minutes and that they would "text" us when our table was ready. 30mins later we go and see if our table was ready and another women says "Yes your table has been ready we for a while." We mentioned that we did not receive a text message and the other women, who told us she would text us, tried to say that our table was not ready. Long story short a man came over and we told him what was happening and he seated us right away.
We have been to Fogo several times but unfortunately we had a bad experience on this visit. Our server was great but the service from the gentleman wielding the meat skewers was awful. We were only offered three cuts of meat in a 35 min. period even after asking our waitress to tell them we were not being offered all the varieties of meat. They acknowledged the snubs and gave us a gift certificate but it was still a disappointing evening.
Best experience in Philly!
Fogo is a great place to go for a special occasion. Plentiful salad and market bar, tasty meats brought to your table as much as you like and a nice addition of seafood options to the menu since the last time we dined.
Disappointing experience. Reserv at 4:30. Were barely any gauchos going around, saw very limited amount of steak..chicken, sausage were aplenty. Mgr asked if pacing were ok and it was terrible, just sitting around..a lot..waiting. Mgr asked what meats we wanted to try-table should have a meat card so we knew what we were missing. I barely ate much for $53 pp. Going to try KoP Fogo bc this experience was so disappointing.
Great food. Excellent service not too overbearing and love their new payment system.
Great Food. Great People. Food was a little too Salty for me. But all of other friends did not think so. Love Picanha. The Servers was amazing. So friendly. Will positively visit again.
Excellent place for lunch, the market table/salad bar is a great value.
We went for my son’s graduation and the food and the service were fantastic. Our server even offered my son a free dessert when she found out we were celebrating his graduation. We will definitely go again. Great experience.
Fabulous experience. Our first time was celebrating my sons 21st birthday and this past Thursday night was celebrating my sons Temple University graduation. Always a memorable experience.
The food was great but I wished the service was better. We looked around for our server for about 10-15 minutes to ask for dessert.
Our experience was awesome!!! It was our first time there, and it was for my graduation dinner. Definitely would go back.
Great service. Love their Mojitos. Always leave full!
Great service and great food
Food was excellent like usual! Our waitress ditched us halfway through our meal for a larger table (which I understand, she was very busy, this table had like 14 people), but I had ordered a drink when we first sat down and ended up cancelling it because we were ordering dessert and it had never come. I’ve ordered drinks at Fogo before and they’re always delicious but they unfortunately take SO long to get to a table every single time I go to one. I’ve been to three Fogo’s and they all have terrible wait times for drinks. Also booked a 9 pm reservation and after waiting for 30 mins, the hostess asks if I checked in with her?? Yes, I did, 30 mins ago!! We finally got seated after watching a ton of other people get seated first who arrived after us. The meats and desserts (especially the tres leches cake was AMAZING) were excellent but service was really disappointing tonight.
The service wasn’t on par with what we’re used to from this fine establishment. The meat service was slower than usual with seemingly less variety. We asked our server to choose a bottle of wine for us, but was never told the price of the bottle. Then again, we could’ve asked, but I think it should be protocol to inform the customer how much they’re going to be charged. Dessert took about 30 minutes to come out. The server seemed very interested in our female companions, paying very little attention to the gentleman. Some servers were just standing idly behind us having a very loud conversation. Overall, it just wasn’t a good experience at my favorite restaurant.
Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse never disappoints!
It was ok, it took awhile to get meat service even though our coins had been flipped for awhile. Our server only checked on us twice and seemed annoyed that she worked there all together. The flank steak and top sirloin were really good, and the chicken was also great.
Great all around
We visited during Restaurant Month and were not let down! Hubby was in love with the lamb chops and me with every piece of succulent steak there was. I love how the salad bar is always so fresh and appealing. Fogo De Chao always calls to us when red meat is a must. Great waiter as well! We didn't want for anything.
Was a Family Get Together
This is our favorite Fogo by far!! The salad bar is a plethora of delicious salads, cheeses, fruit and meats... but the best part was our terrific wait staff & serving team ~ my husband is in love with the lamb, and they all made sure he had his fill. The food is always great, but the staff really took great care of us all weekend! It’s worth the drive from NJ!! Thanks for a great meal!
Not only was the salad bar and selection of steak, chicken and pork outstanding but the staff was just as outstanding. They are very attentive, polite, and professional.
Great service and amazing steak!
Food & service good. Fair price for lunch.
🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤Oh so many meats 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
The reason for the not so great review was where we were seated...in the back of the restaurant where the staff 'hang' out and eat their meals. I booked this reservation a while ago as did I last year for Easter dinner and we were sat in the same room, not the main dining room. This time around, not many of the 'meats' made there way back to us unless we asked. And I noticed that most of the staff was congregating in this room and most of them took their shift meal in this room. If i am spending up to $600 (6 people) for a dinner and booked it well in advance, I'd expect to be seated in the main dining room. We were all dressed very nicely (saw people with shorts on for Easter Dinner) and were all adults, no kids. Food was really good as usual and the service was excellent. I'd go back but I will NOT sit in the back ever again, there is no reason to put us in the back when there were open tables up front that could of sat us. So, yea, a little miffed.
The food and service were awful. The meat was fatty and disgusting. We waited over 30 mins for mashed potatoes and the fried bananas were burnt and black. Disgusting!!
Easter brunch was great. Service is always wonderful. Always accommodating. They will cook your meat special without salt!! Fantastic 👍🏻
The restaurant is way too noisy.
Unfortunately, that day things did not go well. I was unable to attend the early Easter gathering, due to being in a car accident just hours before. However, i sent the rest of my party to enjoy a good meal. I had a coupon for the $39.00 per person dinner. My party was told that they could not use the coupon because our reservations was still during lunch. Instead of them offering the group the $15.00 off for lunch since obviously there are massive emails sent out to me for EVERYTHING they offer, they stayed silent. That was not, in my opinion, optimal customer service.
Though they didn't pay what they expected my friends did enjoy the food and the meat choices. Though it is Philadelphia there are other restaurant choices.
