Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse - Orlando Ratings and Reviews
Our service was not up to expectations. Our waiter made several mistakes with initial drink orders. The first two people received their drinks and the remaining 6 in our group received their drinks over a 30 minute period. There was also a mix-up in the delivery of fish dinner to two of our group who ordered fish. Finally, the salad bar was too crowded for comfort, with numerous children not adequately controlled by their parents. This included dropping serving spoons on the floor and returning them to the salad bar. The worst was a young girl using both hands to grab prosciutto and pepperoni slices and stuffing into her mouth to eat while at the salad bar. Not appetizing to look at when you are paying $50+ for dinner. The Washington DC restaurant does a much better job of handling crowds at the salad bar and monitoring the behavior of children around the salad bar.
We've been to Fogo in a number of different major cities and were excited to check this one out while vacationing with our son. It wasn't as nice physically as the others but we thought maybe it's an older restaurant. The meat selection was very limited. Leg of lamb, flank steak, and filet wrapped in bacon were brought to our table numerous times. Nothing more. No chicken. No pork. Our waiter seemed already distracted and overwhelmed and we were eating early (4:45 pm). Also, no Chimmichurri to be found at the buffet area? I thought I must've missed it and went back to check. Nope. Nothing. Overall a bummer.
Really great food. Great atmosphere and great almost everything. The complimentary valet was great and everyone seemed really nice. I made sure I prepared myself to eat as much as possible which I did and tried just about every meat I could get my hands on. Drink refills did take a little longer than anticipated, and the server did seem a little rushed. However I work in the industry and could see she had many tables to try and help, so it was understandable in my perspective. Very kind and helped answered questions to the point. Will be back again for sure!
Ultra friendly and very informative staff! the food is excellent and the meats are some of the best I've had. The beef and lamb were extraordinary succulent and juicy and the pork was extremely tasty as well. the Ambiance is very nice and the wine selection was very good as well. It was an excellent experience and a great night out!
The food was good but the service was disappointing. I like rare meat and it was extremely difficult to get anything rare. I would not recommend this location. Atlanta midtown is much better with service and getting you the type of meat/sear you like very quickly.
the Service we got from the individual servers was good, but our entire party stated we felt rushed from the minute we sat down. We had a reservation for 12 and were seated at a table that was set for 12 but not even big enough for 10 people we ended up having in our party that evening. Way too may tables were crowded into the area and we were directly opposite from the Servers station with plates and silverware. Noise level was so loud you could not carry on a conversation at our table many times. Food was excellent quality, but we did not see the variety of items we had hoped for. Only one chicken selection was offered to me the entire night, but we did get offered the house sirloin (which was delicious) about 8 times all in all it was not the experience I had in mind, and for entertaining clients, I don't see us going back.
My husband had never been to a Brazilian Steakhouse and it was a very special occasion so we decided to go check it out. The noise level was absolutely insane. So rather than yell, we mostly ate in silence. Regardless of that, the food was phenomenal and service ended up being divine.
While we probably didn’t eat the value of what we paid, it was a lovely experience. If you can eat your weight in food, or come close, and don’t mind a high volume establishment, this is great.
