Fogo never fails to disappoint!! We came for our first date 3 years ago and come every 6 months since! Great food and great drinks!
Went here with some friends. Food was awesome drinks were awesome I had the Tres Leche for dessert...awesome. Great food great atmosphere
Great food and service
Great customer service! Everyone was so helpful from the drink menu to the choice of meat and food. You must try this restaurant if you haven’t already!
This was hands down the WORST steakhouse in NYC. 4 out of the 6 individuals from my group got sick immediately after dinner. It was simply a gimmick, they served endless amounts of LOW QUALITY and salty meat. I have gone to a majority of steakhouses in NYC and the food served here is worse than the meat you can buy from Walmart. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
Excellent dining experience. Quality food! Love every aspect of it.
Great time great food great service beautiful atmosphere one could'nt ask for anything more thank you for a great birthday.
The front desk lady was very rude. I did not care fir her manera and at no point she smile or offered help with my jacket.
The food bar lak variaty and the was no desert at all
There was no sea food and most of the steak houses around offer fir the same price more variety on apetaisers.
My family and I came for a long, leisurely lunch, and had the Fogo de Chao experience for the first time. This included the all-you-can-eat option; beginning with the generous Market Table salad bar and proceeding to the ongoing variety of meats, as well as the hot side dishes. Truth be told, I was full by the time I finished the salad bar course! I tried some of the meats as they were offered, but could not consume enough of the meat selections to justify the cost of the meal. I was pleased with the selections I was able to eat: Ribs and filet mignon wrapped in bacon. The garlic mashed potatoes were delightful. The Brazilian cocktails were tasty, and so were the desserts. I must say the service was outstanding. Overall, it was an interesting, satisfying new dining experience and a fun time. Go, and bring a large appetite!
Greeter/Host was careless young lady. She should be working in a service industry as she didn't greet or smile upon arrival nor said thank you or goodbye when we were leaving. She could be the reason why this restaurant cannot get more customers...
The servers were very attentive, friendly and genuine. They took care of us. It was our first time and we were impressed!
todo tal cual lo esperado y no han bajado la cantidad y calidad de las carnes
We had to wait for servers for the different meats to come. No beef ribs came to our table. I had to request lamb products to be served to us. Had better experience in your Chicago restaurant.
I’ve been to a few steak houses in NYC but this is by far a great and different experience. You get a TON of different meats constantly being served to you and this is great if you’re a hungry group of guys and girls.
Great service, great food, great cocktails. All around a great spot!
Great place, great service, I made a reservation for my wife’s bday and mentioned in the comments that she has celiacs... and at the end of our dinner, they brought out a dessert with Happy birthday written on the plate!! How awesome!! And yes it was gluten free!!! The best!!
The wait staff attention to detail was very impressive and so friendly.
Great service and the best Brazilian in NYC.
Tout était moyen y compris la viande proposée saucisse , porc, mouton
I am a fruquent diner at Fogo De Chao at different loctaions through the USA. This was one of worst locations that I have dined at. The hostess had trouble finding my reservation, the waiter disapeared for long periods of time—we unable to get refills on drinks and bread. In addtion, the meat was not tasty but rather dry and flavorless—the servers were not frequent passers. The salad bar lacked tasty options. I expected New York location to be top of line due to diversity in customers however even Boston’s location beats NYC. I will admit the best location I have dined in is in Houston TX # 1.
The food was too salty. Good but too salty. I couldn’t eat much.
The bathrooms we not clean and a flood through out all the stalls. I mentioned to two different people that I couldn’t use the downstairs bathroom because of so much water on the floor. Not sure if it was the people making the mess or there was an actual flood. The upstairs bathroom was the same and both were not clean. We were there for a while and throughout the entire stay the bathrooms were not cleaned at all.
We were seated down stairs all the way in the back of the restaurant to the left. It was the farthest seating from the entrance. The location was fine except the entire restaurant was so cold it didn’t matter how far it was away from the entrance.
We wore our coats throughout dinner.
After spending all that money for nine people I expected and nice comfortably warm and clean environment.
Love the food
We love dining at fogo once a month and this time they did us a big favor and honored both of our dinner coupons. We will be back!
Fogo in New York is a reliable experience. The restaurant is huge, and the quality of the food is excellent. This time, we had to deal with New York holiday traffic, and the host was able to accommodate our very late arrival. All-around, an excellent choice for a special occasion or group dinner.
We went for lunch this time for holiday celebration. Unfortunately, the meats available at lunch time especially the lamb chops were under cooked and unflavorful. On top of that, the seating man was trying to let us sit at a farthest and smallest table, while there were many other tables available. We had a reservation. He was ridiculous. I requested for a change of table.
Had a wonderful time at Fogo this weekend for our Anniversary! Service and food were wonderful and we really liked the signature dessert papaya/vanilla ice cream! So good! Can't wait to return and thank you for having us!
Great food & service
The restaurant was great, great ambiance and the food was delicious. The kids and I loved the cheese bread and fried bananas. The meat were cooked to perfection.
The only issue was that I felt that the service could be better. I didn't think that the servers were professional or friendly enough.
Very delicious food and good service. I love this place and can not wait to go back. The salad bar is plebtyful and more than just lettuce and cucumbers as many.
We are fans of Fogo de Chao, having dined with them in numerous cities over the years (including this NYC location and those in Baltimore, Chicago, DC, Houston, King of Prussia, Miami and Philadelphia). Unfortunately, while the food was very good, the extremely poor service was not consistent with our expectations built on years of dining at Fogo de Chao restaurants. No one was assigned to our party of 10, so we were left with trying to stop various staff members for drinks and other items as they sped by our table. Even when we were able to get someone's attention, our requests were forgotten or completely ignored. The staff seemed aggravated with managing basic interactions like taking drink orders and bringing condiments to our table. The management and staff appeared equally disengaged and uninterested in assisting us. We hope our experience was an aberration, but we will not be returning to this location.
Excellent food. Great selection of meats and salads.
Energetic and vibrant atmosphere.
Attentive, friendly staff
Expensive and therefore not recommended for anyone on a budget.
I went there with friends who visiting me from overseas on Christmas Day . One of my friend was celebrating his birthday as well. The lunch price was same as dinner price which was around $68 for full experience. The menu listed many items of meat but not all came out . Only the house steak and prime sirloin were good. All others were well over cooked. The meat servers did not understand English since they didn’t respond to my questions . I asked for beef ribs on mutiply occasions and finally came . It was dry and over cooked . The waitress thought I am tourist so she tried to charged me for one extra meal, an extra $68. I went to this restaurant many times before and had better food . I will never bring a friend to this restaurant anymore so I don’t got embarrassed. I really got full experience on Christmas Day - a bad experience.
I save the planet 364 days a year w/o eating meat just to have that one day experience at the best meat place in the world. My favorites at Fogo de Chão: Picanha, lamb chops, filé mignon. Wine list is great too. Service is great with many servers being gauchos from Rio Grande do Sul, southern Brazil. Ask them about the churrasco traditions. Eat, learn, enjoy.
The food was definitely good but it’s a bit expensive ($67) plus drinks.
A wonderful time with a party of 8 to celebrate my Mom's 70th Birthday. Thanks to All who greeted, served, sliced, and otherwise took great care of us. Great Food & Service in a Boisterous, Fun, Food Hall atmosphere.
Wow! What an experience! Even if you don't eat meat, you will love the environment and the choices. A great time and a Wonderful memory of our stay in New York City.
The best restaurant I’ve ever been to. I am a MEAT LOVER!! I will definitely be returning to this magical place!
Far too loud
Food and service were sub par throughout the night, definitely not worth the money
