The meat was excellent as always. The salad bar was lacking as I compare it to other Fogo de Chao's I've visited as well as competing restaurants with the same theme. I also had to request the chimichurri sauce which should be at the salad bar or served w/o having to ask for it. The Gauchos had to be flagged over to our table even though we had a "green" card requesting meat.
We went with 3 people and all of us were blown away with the food and the experience. Never give reviews but the food and filet especially was absolutely AMAZING!!!
This was our first visit for lunch and second visit overall. The guys bringing the meat around were great, but the waitress we had was a little standoffish and rude.
We also felt they were rushing us out. There were many empty tables around, so maybe they don't like people sitting around and eating more food.
The price was a little high. One can only eat so much for lunch.
We are usually very happy eating here however this visit, the food was not as good and the service either. Perhaps it is because we went at 5:30pm. Nevertheless we were disappointed.
This was my second time at Fogo de Chao. (the first time was in SF). I took my parents for their anniversary. They both loved it. This place is a meat lover's heaven!
Fogo De Chao is always a great option for Rodizio style. However the salad bar at the NYC location did not impress me as I have been in others with more variety of products. Service was fantastic!
The food was fantastic. Great choice of meats that were delicious and cooked perfectly.
The salad bar had options, but I had hoped that they had more vegetable options. My female companions remarked that they were surprised that the bathroom was small and they had to wait.
Overall great food.
Food, drinks and customer service were absolutely wonderful! Will certainly come back whenever in NYC
Love Fogo de Chao but the old menu with unlimited meat meant I wouldn't come too often. Now with the lunch special for the salad bar with just a portion of meat - not unlimited - it is much easier (on my waist line!) to come here more often.
The Fraldinha is awesome!!!
Amazing food - especially the beef and lamb. Nice ambiance. Yummy drinks. Fantastic service. Will be back.
Either they have scaled back their offerings in what was once a lavish salad bar, or they just weren’t “ready” by 6pm on a Friday!
Also, the server with the Chicken and Pork Sausage must have come to our table at least five times. We had it once during the meal and that really sufficed. We were sitting there 45 minutes before the server with Lamb Chops made his appearance at our table. It wasn’t the usual way they run, but it was unnerving enough for me to take a long break from eating there.
Excelente comida, lugar, atención y ubicación. Casi uss100 por persona no es barato pero vale la pena.
Delicious Brazilian BBQ. I love coming here for the Lamb cuts especially the lamb sirloin. It's a delicious blend of perfectly charred outer and juicy medium rare center. The flank and chops are great too, although the chops are much too over seasoned.
Just one thing to watch out for: we arrived well within the lunch window. Which ends at 1400 Surprise! And they tried to charge us the dinner rate... Sneaky, but we identified it and after a short discussion they corrected the error.
Poor experience here. Only about three or four cuts of meat circulated the entire time. We saw some that came out only once. The waitress was not very observant and absent for most of the meal. The lady at the table next to us kept having to yell “hello?” whenever the guys with meats walked past quickly to try to get them to stop. The meat was not very flavorful either. In NYC, a place like this needs to be put out of business.
First, don't eat before you get here because this is food gluttony at its best. Second, pace yourself. There are so many amazing meats to sample and the wine list is pretty good too. The cheese bread is pretty amazing. I enjoy coming here a few times a year and end up rolling myself out of here but the food and experience are pretty awesome.
Father’s day... was a great day thanks to Fogo and the staff. One of my favorite every day spots. Never a complaint. Great spot for families and extremely child friendly
The wait service was slow and uneven outside of the meat servers and not what I expected having been to one of the group's other restaurants. The tables are packed into the dining room and we were being bumped on all sides throughout the night at our two-person table. Unfortunately, this will be my last visit here.
Was enjoyable early Father’s Day dinner
Good place to eat if you are dining alone. You are made to feel very welcome (even if you do not order a beverage) and are not ignored. Also, a good place to meet for lunch - noise level is low so it is easy to converse; salad bar only option has good variety to suit vegetarians and most diets; many choices of tasty meat options; you are not rushed. I have been here many times both alone and with others - have never been disappointed and will definitely return.
It was an incredible birthday dinner!
Amazing as always
Excellent service. Awesome drinks and we loved the desserts.
Our first experience at the restaurant in general and it was great! All staff was attentive and courteous, quick but polite! Would definitely come again on my next trip to NY!
Phenomenal experience as always... beef ribs on point. Neeko (not sure if I spelled that right), is an amazing server, and friendly.
Food, place and service excellent..Definitely going back soon
Buena comida. Mala atención. Se demoraron mucho en traer el vino , un poco ruidoso, buena carne
I’ve dined at Fogo de Chao in NYC many times, and I’ve eaten at them all around the country. It is a place that I always look forward to. This time, I was there to celebrate a special occasion, and I was unfortunately disappointed. I only eat chicken (which is never a problem because there are 3 chicken selections). When we were first seated, the waiter asked if we needed anything, and I let him know that I only eat chicken (which I was told to always do as soon as I sit down). This waiter seemed very puzzled, and when I asked him to please have chicken breast prepared, he told me “sorry, we don’t have that.” I explained to him that I’ve been here many times, and I know it’s not a typical selection served...but it is available for special request. He said that he has to speak to a manger and he will get back to me. It took him a while to get back, but he said “yes, we can prepare that for you.” After waiting 30 minutes for it, 1 chicken breast came out. To add insult to injury, when the servers were walking around, and the server with the chicken legs came to the table, I asked him for 3 chicken legs. He said “no, I’m only able to give you one. You’ll have to wait for somebody else to come around.” I was VERY surprised by that answer being that it is an all-you-can eat restaurant. I said to him “I only eat chicken. I don’t understand why you’re telling me that I’m only allowed to get 1 chicken leg.” He said “oh really? Only chicken?” I told him yes...and he went on to serve me that 3 chicken legs. I’m very confused why I had to beg for my food at an all-you-can eat restaurant. I also didn’t appreciate the waiter’s attitude or his doubt in believing that I was only eating chicken that night. The server responsible for refilling water was also hard to find, and I would have to catch her whenever I could...because nobody was coming over to do that.
Overall this wasn’t a very good experience. It really took away from the celebration. I’m very disappointed.
It was wonderful!!! We will be back very soon!!
Only thing that was good was their mash potato & salad bar , meats had to much salt barley was any hot food selection only one white rice no yellow rice bill was expenisve for nothing for the price i paid i rather ate at son cubano in west ny , nj & ate way better spanish food
Absolutely phenomenal. Management was incredible in accommodating food allergies.
Very good food and service. We always leave happy!!!
The restaurant was gorgeous but the meat selection was small for a steakhouse and not a lot of variety . I expected more food choices for the high price .
Delicious food and fantastic service.
Not worth paying 20$ more than other Fogos. Slow service and missing things every other Fogo has.
They don't have bacon or blue cheese and the meats aren't seasoned well. It's disappointing they won't let you order from the menu after lunch. Want fish, oops out of luck. Want anything but the overpriced full experience, don't go to NYC.
Stuff wad unpleasant slow and not so kind. We wait for change half hour..
LOVED IT! One of the best steak houses in NYC!! I would definitely recommend!
I’m was here for a friends birthday dinner and it did not disappoint. We walked away satisfied and stuffed. The ambiance was perfect the food was excellent. Drinks are a bit expensive but it’s NEW York. I highly recommend this spot and will be back!
Food comes fast. Don't eat too much at the salad bar, they give you really good side dishes plus you have all that meat, it's easy to get overwhelmed. Just grab some greens, no rice and you won't have to get up from your seat again because the meat and sides keeps coming. Also, you get a free dessert for your birthday! Make sure to let them know and hey write happy birthday on your plate :)
Great food, bathroom needed urgent attention, service was over attentive because we were the last table and wanted us to leave.
