It was off putting. We arrived and we were waiting for one more person when the host thought it was appropriate to ask someone I was with if we had a reservation as we waited for our entire party to arrive. I’m not sure why he did that but when I gave him our name the exchange was not friendly or welcoming. Later when our entire party was here and we went to informed the host couldn’t remember the reservation name which I found odd given the fact he was pressing my guest for reservation details. He also didn’t ask us anything but directed someone to sit us on the second floor. While there I was confused as it seems like the second floor is for a different setting and experience. Also it was obvious that they were not prepared as they kept insisting us to get food from the bar they were still actively setting up. They kept insisting that being on the second floor was going to be the same experience as being on the lower floor, however after sitting for 15mins with with no food and just confused as to when the service we wanted was going to start a nice staff member came up to us and further informed us of the process of the experience. we explained to him we would rather be on the lower level and he made it happened. We got moved to the lower level but it was hectic down there. It seems like it was way too much going on for the the staff. We had to wait too long for everything because they were really busy. We had to ordered with different servers. It wasn’t as enjoyable as past experience. But the waiters that attended us did try their best it was just a really busy night I guess.
My server Bernard was very nice and very friendly with my kids but all the staff and sever was very nice wonderful place would go there again great food everything tastes fresh and good

We made a reservation online and waited about 30 minutes before we got seated. This isn’t a complaint just a note. The front staff was very polite and respectful and once a table
was open we were directed to the downstairs area where we were greeted by a young woman who was very kind as she apologized for the wait. Overall the food was great.
We had reservation and had to wait. Then we’re seated by the bar and when asked why we couldn’t be seated in the main dining area we were told there was no room, meanwhile people with larger parties walking in with no reservation were being seated. After being seated, we didn’t get a waiter for 22mins despite asking several waiters walking by. The management just walked around looking frantic. We even had to get our own plates from the salad bar! If anyone reads this, please contact me, it was a waste of $500.

Honestly, it was a disgraceful experience... Not to mention unhygienic. The salad bar was a contamination zone, literally no gloves available for people (Like Texas de Brazil does) nor anyone wearing masks, people coughing directly onto the food etc. It was deplorable, we skipped the salad. The meat quality was poor, lots of fat in most of the cuts, the only decent one was the chicken wrapped in bacon, the lamb and fillet mignon were inedible, not even kidding it was covered in fat. Really sub standard meat quality compared to any Fogo de Chao I've ever been to. The service was sub par too. The check was the icing on the cake, $70 a person for this mockery of a Brazilian steakhouse. Never going back to this tourist trap in Midtown.

The worst steakhouse service I’ve experienced in nyc . This was my first time here and It was the worst. This is also my first time ever feeling like I need to write a review . Everything from the hostess to the manager and the waitress was horrible. The hostess look tired , and less interested. They didn’t smile or welcome us. Hostess are the face of the house. A smile and welcome would be nice. When we got seated , it took the waitress 15 minutes to come by and ask us what type of water we wanted. After ordering drinks it took her another 10 minutes to bring out the drinks. They should have an Assitant server that’s giving water to tables and checking and refilling water throughout the dining experience. Even ihop/3 star restaurants do this. “The experience “ of switching the card to green whenever you wanted “meat” was not accurate. It took 15 min for the meats to start coming out. We had to ask the manager to step in . When he called him over the meats came out 2 minutes after . For the manager It should be very easy to spot a manager but I felt like it was not easy to spot him. Regardless of how busy a restaurant is , there should always be structure . When a place is organized you feel at ease. You recommend it to more people and you come back. This place needs better management. You are located in the heart of the city , this should be more of a 4-5 star experience not like a diner. I don’t recommend this place for a nice couple dinner. This is more after shopping with your family or catching up with friends. Definitely not worth a couples night out.

Service was terrible. We were in NYC for the weekend and would not come back. Not all advertised cuts were going around and when asked they hesitantly brought some cuts but didn't even offer everyone at the table. Worse $300 spent. Would not come back.

We were sat 45 mins past our reservation. Our waiter wasn’t bad could of done some things a bit better, maybe be more attentive. He did not stop in to check on us we had to track him down every time we needed something. Food was good. Drinks good as well. It was an ok experience.

Food was good but service has deteriorated significantly. Already observed this during the last visit pre-pandemic and confirmed yesterday. It appears that tables with 6+ people are the focus of attention while we (3, one adult) were not. Seems like a clear-cut case of corporate/restaurant chain attempts at ‘optimization’. Very unlikely to return

Awesome experience as usual. The price has gone up per person but is expected during covid times. Still highly recommend this restaurant! RSVPs are very useful and plentiful for this place.
Post pandemic. And they don’t have hand sanitizer anywhere. And people are sharing utensils at the buffet bar.
Service and the quality of the food was incredible . My second time there and it will definitely not be my last . I recommend it for any occasion .

I have been going to Brazilian steakhouses for years. Fogo is bar none my favorite place. I needed a special meal after so long shut in due to COVID and this hit every spot.
All ok, except of the pitiful attitude of the hostess that who looked at me with contempt maybe for my casual lunch outfit? Come on!
Food is good, steak and waiters service is really good, but far from the original Fogo at Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo. Prices do not reflect the reality.

Amazing food amazing service
Terrific food. Amazing, actually. The meats were perfectly cooked, and I’d say the salad bar is the best I’ve ever seen. A great meal.

Arrived 20 minutes early, gave away my table, waited extra 25 minutes. Put group in spot where they cleaning up big party, and food was slow to come.
Drinks 1/2 price great, but watered down.

Fantastic time but I was surprised that for our large party and $1k bill that my daughter’s birthday dessert wasn’t comped. I am not a big fan of Nicole and dome restaurants.

Very busy. Staff tried their best and were always polite, but complimentary sides - cheese bread, plantains, mashed potatoes - came very late (almost an hour into the meal). Crispy polenta never served. Other tables seemed to be having similar issues getting their sides as well.

They’ve been cutting back a bit on the Market Table, but overall, the food was still great!
Had a reservation for 7pm but when I arrived told me it would be an hour to two hour wait because they overbooked.. then we wanted to do the experience but we only got to taste 6 of the 15 meats available!! Wouldn’t recommend going during a special occasion because it’s a little chaotic!
