Restaurant was very busy with lots of families. Service was not attentive.
Wonderful! There were soooo many kinds of meat. We don’t even know if we tried them all! It was very very good. We had to stop the flow of meat to our table a couple of times. The place is absolutely beautiful. Make sure to sign up for the club online to get a coupon! (It takes a couple days so sign up in advance) Absolutely would go back.
Excellent food and service. Never disappointed when dining here!
Service, food, pricing the BEST. Try it ... On an empty stomach. If too pricey go on Restaurant Week or Restaurant Month.
This was a perfect restaurant for a special occasion. The cheesecake they gave us for free was AMAZING and all the food was delicious.
I visit this restaurant many times a year. This time, the bus boy was quite ridiculous. We were there celebrating my mother's birthday. We were still eating with fork and knife in hand, and the bus boy stopped by picked up the changed dishes, then he started to take away our appetizers bread side plate, etc. without even asking us!!! I was shocked, this never happened at this restaurant before. I stopped him and said we are still eating not done yet. Instead of apologize right away, he argued that he saw us eating some fruits and though we were done. How ridiculous it is! Fruits are from the salad bar, you can visit the salad bar as many times as you like during the course of the meal. I told him second time, we were not done, and he still didn't give us back the appetizers he took away from us!
Wow! I didn't expect all that! I've berm wanting to go forever, and it was really awesome! Most of the meat was so, so flavorful! I really liked the salad bar.
I have actually been to Fogo de Chao quite a few times, and the food was (and always is) spot on. The meats were well prepared and the Salad Bar was lovely. The rodizio servers were excellent and made sure that everyone was taken care of.
Whereas the rodizio servers were amazing - the "service" we received from our waitress was hands down the worst service I've experienced from this establishment. Which was made worst/more apparent by the fact that we were there to celebrate a friend's birthday.
For one thing, we were greeted by 3-4 different wait staff members who passed out, then took away, passed out again, then took away again, etc., the drink menu. Which led to us having our drink orders taken 3 times. At one point we had double our drinks dropped off at the table. (which caused a problem with our final bill)
Once the confusion as to who our waiter was - we were beyond disappointed by our waitress. Our "waitress" disappeared for very long stretches of time and ignored any attempts to catch her attention. She was curt to the point of rudeness, ignored requests from my table and spent most of the middle third of our dinner passive aggressively trying to get us to leave. Overall this was a very unhappy person who did not want to be working. She actually rolled her eyes at me when I tried to call her over regarding a discrepancy with our bill!
That eye roll was the final straw for me personally, I ended up asking another young lady to direct us to the manager. The manager was lovely and listened to our complaints. She was hospitable and warm - the exact opposite of her waitress. She corrected the discrepancy with our bill and took care of us for the remaining time we were there.
Because I am aware of the wonderful service in the past, the amazing food, and the general hospitality will I be giving Fogo de Chao another chance. The actions of one individual surely does not reflect that of the whole restaurant and I look forward to seeing better next time.
The service was great and I would love to come back and even spoke to friends about making reservations to experience great food.
Starting server sucked, had an attitude then disappeared. Final server was decent. Food was subpar, salad bar sucked for the price
Amazing food and nice stuff, ver helpful and a great value for the food
After years of enjoying the full churrascaria experience, I decided to try the $18 Market salad bar luncheon. It was epic! The best "salad" bar ever, replete with soups, cheeses, charcuterie, olives, fruit, and smoked salmon -- MUCH more than just a simple salad bar. To be honest, I didn't miss the meat at all. And service was attentive and charming, as usual. IMHO this is the best lunch bargain in the city. I should add that diners still have the option to add meat to their meal, but my guest and I were totally satisfied with the basic option. A great place to celebrate a birthday, an anniversary, a graduation or any other special occasion.
Birthday- it was noted on the reservation but they ignored it
Delicious food and excellent service as always.
We were seated very quickly! The servers were very timely I’m checking to make sure that our table had everything we wanted.
Great Brazilian food experience; a bit less personal touch than other Fogo stores, but great ambiance.
Not a great experience. Food was slow and hostess was rude. Meat was unseasoned. I felt like i was in a mixture of miami and vegas. Not great.
Anniversary lunch was delicious everything great
The food was good, but the bathroom was disgusting. The buffet was limited.
Great food, good atmosphere. A little bit pricey for dinner, but I guess overall good for Downtown Manhattan
Everyone was so helpful and the service was amazing!!!
Food was good not great
Great food! Wonderful staff! My fiancé and I come here at least twice a month. Very accommodating with reservations. Intimate, yet energizing ambiance. A special thank you to Christopher for making sure we got the meats that’s we love. Thank you to the whole staff for the amazing customer service!
The food was immaculate. Everything was fresh, the staff was prompt and caring, and the atmosphere is stunning!
Lamb chopc and lamb loin were on poiny today! Everyone enjoyed the meal and the shrimp were awesome!
Good is excellent and the staff is very attentive. There is only one, tiny "negative" that the servers are bustling around so fast, you feel like they may drop something on you as they go from table to table. Not really a negative but you might want a table that is around the perimeter of the restaurant rather than in the center.
I loved everything about this place.....from the bar to the salad bar to the food. Thank you for your service.
It was great and convenient
Great atmosphere, food was amazing!! Get reservations for sure........
Great service and fresh and delicious food.
My husband and two children went here for an early dinner. Service was attentive and the food was great.
Birthday brunch while visiting NYC
Nothing short of AMAZING! My boyfriend and I had such an unbelievably incredible time at Fogo. Went at the end of Restaurant Week and received outstanding service. The food is just divine and to die for. If you love steak, treat yo’self and come to Fogo de Chão!
Great time for my girlfriend’s birthday.
A friend and I have dinner at Fogo every year during summer Restaurant Week. The food and service are the same for all diners and the price is reasonable for the variety and quality of the food. This year, the salad bar choices were uniformly excellent, and ALL of the fruit was outstanding. We treated ourselves to a fruit course before the delish desserts. Some of the beef choices could have been better seasoned and a bit more tender, but the lamb selections were juicy and very tasty. While Fogo is normally too expensive for our pocketbooks, the opportunity to enjoy this lovely restaurant during Restaurant Week is always a pleasure.
Location stupenda, qualità del cibo ottima, la carne era deliziosa come tutto quello che abbiamo assaggiato.
In linea con la bellezza della location.
This is a great place to come for dinner if you enjoy a huge salad bar and lots of meat. It is especially great to go during restaurant week since $20 less minus a few types of meat.
We had an amazing experience and the food was great!
This is a crowd-pleasing place to bring a large group for a business meeting.
