Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse - New York
Fogo de Chão is an authentic Brazilian Steakhouse (Churrascaria) that has been setting the standard in Brazil for the past 36 years. Today, our gaucho chefs still expertly grill and carve tableside each of our cuts of meat like Picanha (signature sirloin), Filet Mignon, Ribeye, Fraldinha (Brazilian sirloin) Cordeiro (lamb) and more. In addition to the main dishes, enjoy our gourmet Market Table, authentic Brazilian side dishes, and award-winning wine list. We also offer semiprivate and private areas for events to 90.

Service was great. Food was great.
Everyone was incredibly kind to us and the food was outstanding. I have no complaints and can't wait to come here again for a special occasion.
Arrived 40 minutes early for reservation, but no effort was made to seat us on time. Everyone who walked in the door after us was seated, but we still had to wait beyond our reservation time for a table. Terrible way to start off the dinner.
Totally enjoying Fogo de Chao in Puerto Rico I presumed the NYC experience would be comparable. However, the our waiter was curt and dismissive. Once the order was taken he only checked in again after our check came, too late.
Also the server at the next table bumped my chair repeatedly, without apologizing once, when serving meat to the next table. Given that the tables are placed very close together my customer experience wasn’t good. At one point my purse was knocked to the floor, which the server chose to ignor.
Thankfully the food was good. But, I’ll not return to FDC NYC.
Good. Had fun.
First time there. Booked the same day within 30 mins of reservation time. Food was great! Beef, lamb, and chicken. Would definitely go again. I would skip the drinks. My mango martini was too sweet and barely had any alcohol and it was $15.
Birthday dinner with boyfriend.
Excellent service and delicious food. Our server checked in with us regularly and ensured we had everything we needed. Caipirinhas were amazing, a great serving size, and nice and strong. Highly recomend.
Great atmosphere and outstanding service next to high quality meat
Came here for Restaurant Week so DEFINTELY worth it, although, apparently, we weren’t offered some special cuts. Still, all the meat I had was deeelicious, unlimited sides and salad bar. Beautiful decor, excellent service. Definitely recommend.
DELICIOUS FOOD!! So worth the visit !! Will definitely come again !!
Food was great, but the restaurant is very loud and reminded us of a cruise ship dining room with a buffet. Not great for a date night
We had an amazing experience with all you can eat menu. Excellent!
Service was great !! The meats were fresh out the kitchen, well sliced and cooked !! A+
Servers didn't even bring us half of the restaurant week menu.
This place was so crowded, especially for restaurant week, that I thought service would be slow. I was pleasantly surprised by how attentive the waiters were, and how often various food runners came by with the different meats. Some of the meats were better than others, but overall the quality was good, especially for how much food they have to make so quickly for so many people. Great wine list and cocktail menu, with strong cocktails.
I love this restaurant.. Food , service and ambiance is amazing.. You will get your moneys worth.. Dont waste a minute and make a reservation now!
Great food and service. We’ve been coming to Fogo since it first open. Their food and service has definitely improved from last time which was about a year ago. Much more variety at the salad/appetizer station. Wait staff was very attentive. Meat carvers came frequently. Overall very satisfied dining experience.
So with it! NY Restaurant week sweetened the deal. We went for a birthday celebration and they were so great about celebrating with us and making our experience extra memorable.
First time at Brazilian restaurant. The food and service were excellent. This was a wonderful chance to try foods you’ve never had before. The servers just kept coming with a wide variety of meats from filet mignon to lamb chops - all of which were delicious. The ambiance was a bit cold for me but the food was well worth it.
The servers were amazing the food was so fresh and the manager took all the guests to the table. Very nice environment.
Great ambiance, our waiter was fantastic. He was clear and precise with his explanation of how the restaurant operates, he was attentive to our needs with out hovering, and he had a great disposition. And the food was amazing?
Love this place. Meatlovers paradise. Feijoada table super fresh. White Rice and black bean stew was nice. Drinks on point. Service is professional without being stuffy. Highly recommended.
Very good deal for restaurant week.
Foods are very good but restrooms are very dirty
The food was absolutely amazing and the servers were so pleasant as they walked around with the food. I will definitely returning to this restaurant. Thank you Restaurant Week for introducing me to this amazing restaurant
A friends’s birthday.
Great food as always, see you next tile
Huge location; it took me almost 20 minutes to have my table, even if I has a reservation, as it's so crowded.
The formula is all you can eat. There's a buffet with vegetable and not only, with a wide choice. The meat is served by waiters going around the tables with big skewers.
In addition the menu includes mashed potatoes with garlic, grilled bananas and polenta sticks. These two were really good.
I was supposed to have also a portion of pan de quejo, but I didn't get it, and I don't know why. Dessert size was really small.
Ideal for groups, but also families, and in general if you eat a lot.
Everything was amazing and the staff was attentive!
I love FOGO! I have and Will continue to go outside if restaurant week.
I loved the brazilian passion drink from the Happy Hour. The restaurant is beautiful, clean and the food is delicious, but pricey$$
We’ve made Reservation at 6:30, they made us wait for more than an hour. Very unprofessional. I rest my case
amazing food, just need to be patient for the food to be served....wait will be long.
I went for Restaurant Week and it was absolutely amazing! SO lucky to have eaten there for the dinner price! Unlimited visits to the Market Table which included salads, thin-sliced meats, cheeses, and fruits. The assortment of delicious savory meats was unbelievable. Service was great, they work as a team, and it was definitely a great experience.
The food was great, the service was excellent. For restaurant week it was an excellent value. Not someplace I could afford to go to often, but this would be a perfect special occasion spot.
The meal is expensive but well worth it. You start with the salad bar and then it's non-stop feeding frenzy of meat. The gauchos come by your table when they see your coaster is green & slice all types & cuts of meat(steak, lamb, pork & chicken) table side. You also get Brazilian cheese bread, maduras, mashed potatoes & fried polenta. Everything is delicious as well as the drinks. The wait staff are friendly & efficient.
