Join us at Fogo de Chão® Minneapolis, a downtown landmark located in the famous Hennepin Theatre District at City Center.
Fogo de Chão is an authentic Brazilian Steakhouse (Churrascaria) that has been setting the standard in Brazil for the past 36 years. Today, our gaucho chefs still expertly grill and carve tableside each of our cuts of meat like Picanha (signature sirloin), Filet Mignon, Ribeye, Fraldinha (Brazilian sirloin) Cordeiro (lamb) and more. In addition to the main dishes, enjoy our gourmet Market Table, authentic Brazilian side dishes, and award-winning wine list. Guests can also choose to enjoy lighter seafood selections or enjoy the gourmet Market Table only option.

Parking details
Valet parking is available after 5:00 pm for $10.00. There is parking available at the City Center Ramp (The entrance is on 7th Street). Parking in the City Center is $6.00 after 4:30 pm. There are other parking ramps in the area which range from $8.00 to $21.00. Metered parking is available between 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. During lunch, we recommend that our customers park at the City Center Ramp.

I have been to Fogo many times in the past 6 years and this was by far the most disappointing experience. Enough for me to lower their rating. Food is fantastic as always, but we spent an unbelievable amount of time waiting for basically everything.

Went during restaurant week and it was a quite chaotic. Our server mentioned that the place had been getting slammed all day and the entire staff was exhausted. That said, the food was great as always despite the longer wait times due to restaurant week.

Food is always amazing. Since the renovation some tables get under served. The place is huge. We were in a back corner table with 8 people. That could be why. But over amazing. Would recommend

We're very disappointed. The service was very bad and slow. We got water 30 minutes after we got our table. It was very busy and our waitress ignored us. After salad, they supposed to give us clean plate for meat. We got only one clean plate and got to go get another by ourselves.

Finally, the waitress came, apologized and did the same thing; still ignore us for the rest of the night.

The restaurant was very busy the night we were there. The servers worked extremely hard to make sure everyone enjoyed their dinner, so special kudos to them. The ambience was loud, energetic and fun as diners enjoyed the vast and never ending selection of food.

Pretty frustrating experience - the table next to us was clearly regulars who who completely catered to. They had seconds of sides before we were even offered any. We were there for over half an hour before getting any sides. And we were not offered any seconds are sides are that are “endless”. The table next to us has the meats brought right to them and our table was constantly walked by - even though we had our cards on green. When we finally got some service the first meats we received were so hard they could not be cut with the Knife - and we could not chew them at all. Very expensive to have such poor service and food.

Restaurant week is not a good time to go. It might be a bit cheaper but service is horrible. Marjet table is less than adequate and the sides are cold.

It was restaurant week so it was to be expected it was busy. The workers seemed to be working there tails off. I thought there could have been better organization of the wait staff. They had so many servers running around we couldent figure out which one was ours. We waited quite a extended period of time for our plates to get cleared off and to order dessert. Also waited a long time for our bill. It was a nice deal to come in on restaurant week but would definitely be irritated if this is normally how the service is. Not sure I will dine again at fogo de Chao in the near future.

Food was fantastic! The service was not so great. Our waitress did not check on us much. Took a very long time to get water refills, the desert took a while to receive, as well as our bill.

Went to dinner with work friends and we found that It is very affordable during restaurant week so this is our second year. We love it and plan to make it an annual event. The salad/veggie area has a wonderful and varied selection. The service was phenomenal as everyone greeted us with friendly banter. The meat varieties were well selected and plentiful. My only complaint is that I couldn’t eat more. And if I could figure out how to make the table breads at home, I’d be in heaven.

No thoroughly impressed with the food variety and meat choices. I expected a bigger meat menu. Same servers came to us multiple times with same meat options. I was told by a friend afterwards that I could've requested specific meats to my table, however I don't feel I should have to, considering the place is expensive and they should provide excellent customer service. The place itself was very nice, just not impressed with menu options for the prices they charge. Not completely sure that I would go back.

It was my first time there. The food was excellent. The service was good for the most part. Asked quite a few times for extra dinner plate, and salt and pepper. I didn't let the minor things ruin my experience there though.

My party and I went on Restaurant week. Our host was very knowledgeable about everything and was able to convince us to have the full service. Although we did, we didn't get very much variety in the meats that were going around even though we asked multiple times for different kinds of meat. Also, at the very end, we had to ask 3 different people to bring us our tab. I've heard many great things about this place, but our experience this time around has left me thinking that this may be my first and last time.

Should not have gone during restaurant week. Servers were very slow and had to flag down waiters to bring meet. Too many people and not enough meet.

We have eaten at Fogo during past restaurant weeks and non-restaurant weeks and had a wonderful experience, but last night was truly awful. We brought 3 friends who had never been and we wantes them to enjoy it like we have in the past. After last night, none of us will be going back. With the expansion of the dining room, it doesn't appear they added extra gauchos or wait staff. It took 20min for water, 30 min for drinks, and 45 min before our first piece of mutton (not eve lamb, it was so tough). Then another 30 min before any other meat was offered. We never saw our waiter during this time period, and we had to flag down another one, who ROCKED and is the only reason the review got 2 stars, and he was able to let gauchos know we were there and waiting. Sad, very sad. Rodizio will be getting our business from now when we want to experience a Brazilian steakhouse.

I have been to Fogo numerous times. We got seated by the window which was fine but we were never introduced to our waiter. The buser end up getting us water, plates, potatoes and fried plantains. We never were asked for our drink order so we ended up with just water. I don't think I have ever had such lack of service. The table next to us was constantly serviced by our same waiter but he never came to us. Just kept saying he would be right back but never came. It was really odd. Last time we were there we actually had the SAME waiter and he serviced us better, we were in a group of 7, so maybe that mattered compared to just 2 people.. Maybe larger table is a bigger tip I suppose but I am was annoyed to say the least.

Party of 8. Seated in way back corner by the windows. Only had about 5 cuts of meat come though us the whole time we were there. Waiter was not attentive. Took 20 minutes to get us water and 30 minutes to get side dishes out to us. Was not refilling water. Did not switch out plates. Bad seating so the meats did not get to us at all. We have been there before with better services. Brought along 4 first timers and they were not impress. I was also not impress by the lack of attentiveness and service that night. Would like a refund or credit for next time.

I mixed up the reservation for restaurant week but they were kind enough to honor it even though we were a half hour too early. Except splitting the check caused a whole fiasco where some people were charged more than they were supposed to and some weren't charged enough. Just divide the check by 5. It shouldn't be that difficult. Caused absolute chaos to split a check. And we never saw our waiter. Had to get other people to help us. He finally came by to try to clear up the check issue which he only made worse.

We made a reservation online for 10:00 PM. We enjoyed the amazing meat and salad bar and began the main course close to 10:30. We noticed however that the Gauchos started thinning out close to 11:00. The cuts of meat started to dry out as well, which interrupted our fabulous meal. One of the Gaucho's noticed that we were still eating and started bringing us personalized service. This is a top tier venue and in the end, they took care of us. I highly recommend Fogo De Chao. It's a fantastic place for adults and I love that people also bring their children. I would recommend making a reservation before 9:00. You will not be disappointed.

It was great and easy to reserve a table through the Opentable app. My complaints were for the service. Our server did not come back after providing us with water glasses to ask if we wanted to order any other drinks. He also did not come back to take our empty salad bar plate/discard plate for almost the entire time of eating. It wasn't until I left to use the restroom towards the end of our meal that he came back to take our plates, even then he only took my fiane's plate and not mine! He then proceeded to ask if we were ready for the bill which my fiance answered that he was done but I was not. Even though I was not done eating, he brought the bill anyways. this is annoying because it made it look like we were done and when I had my card flipped green for "Go" I didn't get served with any meat options for 15 minutes! To add, the restaurant was doing a voucher for "buy 2 dinners, get a voucher for 1 free dinner for next visit" and our bill book did not have the voucher inside. We saw that the couple next to us clearly had the voucher when they got their bill... when someone came to run our card (which wasn't even our server), we had to then ask him for the voucher. So you can understand our frustration for feeling shorted when that voucher is worth an entire meal!

The service was spotty, with delayed delivery and infrequent replenishing of accompaniments (polenta, bananas, rolls). Salad bar is not as great as it used to be, and there was confusion among diners about way line is supposed to go through the salad bar. No shrimp/seafood offering, and the meats were not very good. It was supposed to be for my husband's birthday, at his request. Unfortunately, this is not as good as we remembered it being...or other churrascarias have surpassed them in quality and service.

We were in a corner so I think they forgot about us sometimes. We waited a long time for the check, they seemed to think we had already received it. The prices were crazy but the meat was delicious. I'm glad my husband and I went for the experience but wouldn't go back.

Salad bar was fair, along with table service. Gaucho guys service was great. Very polite and quick to let us know they would return if they did not have the temperature of meat requested.

Food was great but you sometimes had to wait quite awhile for them to bring you the different meats. Many times we had the card flipped over for meat and they would walk right past you. I complained to our sever and so did both tables beside us. Don't be so tight for the price we paid.

The manager went above and beyond making sure my mom knew all the goods she could have with her food allergies. Food was delicious, loved the salad bar, awesome bread and great experience.

Been there a hand full of times, but very dissapointed this time with the speed that the meat came around, had to wait along time and my husband had to ask for the fillet mignon 6 times before getting any.
