   The market table was a mediocre, overpriced, all you can eat salad bar. We did not order the meat as quantity exceeded our appetites, and it did not appear very appetizing. Server attentiveness was minimal when we did not order the whole experience. Overall, it is the lowest value restaurant I remember visiting in many years. I do not recommend it

   Was disappointed with the quality of the meat. Sometimes the flavor was not there, hard to get a variety of meats, you have to ask for what you want. But the ambience to me ruins it. It feels more like a cafeteria style with too many people crammed in the room. Not a five star or four star experience. Salad bar was good. The drinks were good. The manager was super nice but I just think the quality has deteriorated and there is very little parking right near the establishment because of all of the construction work

   Our server was great- the timing of food however was terrible. We were sat right when our reservation started. We did the full experience so went right to market table to start. After about 15 minutes we were ready for the protein menu and waited over 15 minutes before a cut came to our table which we passed because it wasn't our preference. The next cut came over which we accepted. Our server came over to ask if there was anything we wanted so she could make sure it came by. We asked for the bacon wrapped chicken and steak, the house special, and the grilled cheese with honey. Five minutes after that, the food finally started coming which we were thankful for. Our cards remained green indicating that we were still open to more cuts. When the cheese finally came, the server who was passing it out had gone to 9 other tables before coming to ours and when I asked for "as many as he could give me" knowing how long we waited after asking, he said would you like one or two? After that, the cuts stopped coming by once again watching the other side of the restaurant be served. Our server came back and apologized and asked if we would like more cheese. After 25 minutes of waiting for more cuts and cheese which never came, we asked for our bill- paid, and left. Worst fogo experience I have ever had and I had someone with me who had never been. They said they would never go back.

   It was so loud I couldn’t hear my date across the table from me. I get it’s Friday night but still I should be able to have a conversation. I’ve been to Fogo over 50 times and this was my worst experience. Loud. Had to wait about five-ten minutes before any meat came to the table and even then not so many choices.

   The ambience and service were impeccable. I thought a few of the meat selections were a bit dry - good but not very good. As such the value rating matched the food rating. I personally prefer medium rare steak and it seemed I could not acquire such a cut. The lamb was wonderful, as was the bacon wrapped chicken. The salad bar was stunning, clean and had a terrific variety.

   Everyone was crammed into one area of the dining room which made it very awkward to maneuver through tables, let alone carry on a conversation. The entire other half of the restaurant wasn’t being used at all. It didn’t seem like an event was taking place…just empty tables. We went at 7pm on a Tuesday so I’d imagine if it were due to an event, they would have been prepping by then. It was unfortunate to have such a “diner” feel for such an expensive meal. The food was great and the staff did their best, but even they were getting frustrated with the tight quarters.

    Loved the place. Me and my girlfriend had a date night and decided to go. No regrets, a lot of delicious well cooked and seasoned food and a great service, you will never feel ignored or avoided by the staff, all of them are very attentive

    Was put at a table that shouldn't exist. The furthest away spot and hidden by the water station/plates station. Barely got attention from the gauchos and when it did come it was so far away that you got the end bits and everything was well done cooked too. My wife and I go monthly and never had an experience so bad.

    The service was not very good. We had to get up multiple times to find someone to take drink orders, order wine, etc. It was a special occasion and I would have hoped for much better attention. We still tipped our server 20% and when we handed her the signed bill and said thank you she looked at it and responded by saying “whatever”.

    I think they overbooked on Mother's Day. We were seated quickly with a reservation, but the restaurant was so full, it was difficult to get through between the tables. The staff was doing their best to turn over tables and provide service, but there were long delays. We were seated for over 25 minutes before we even received silverware/tongs. (I think these are usually pre-set, but we were later told they were out and washing some.) We've been here before and enjoyed it but I'm not sure we'll go again on a holiday or special occasion.

    We were looking forward to an enjoyable evening at Fogo in celebration of Mother's Day. Unfortunately the restaurant overbooked reservations and walk-in and lacked the ability to manage the volume and coordination of people. There was barely room to walk between tables. I am certain the restaurant was in violation of fire code and ADA. It was chaotic and not an enjoyable experience. At some point they should have capped RSVPs and but the quality of their restaurant and the experience of their patrons over a money grab opportunity.

    So extremely disappointed. I made reservations months ago for this place for dinner before a concert date with my husband. Our reservation was at 4:00. We weren’t seated until 4:30, and it was literally RIGHT next to the long line for the buffet. We didn’t have a server. Our menus were left on our table during the entire meal. It was super chaotic and not romantic at all. The food was just ok—paid way too much for terrible service and an extremely interrupted meal by millions of guests who had no idea where the line was supposed to be for the buffet. I wish we would have just sat at the bar and ordered appetizers. It would have been way better.

    Very bad service, lost waiter after first meeting - a green circle as supposed to mean they came to you with meat, they forgot our table. Ordered waffles under brunch at time of sitting 1pm and by 2pm they said no waffles due to being past brunch hours. Girls bathroom had several genetic males inside peeing on the floor. Daughter and mom had to tip toe out. They did take some of the bill and the manager was receptive to our poor experience. Avoid Mpls in general and try another place is our recommendation.

    We had reservations and still had to wait 40 minutes for a table, then was called and still didn’t have table until another 10 minutes. The salad bar was empty very disappointed. Wait 25 minutes before anyone even came by our section with meat choices. We go often to this restaurant and was a terrible experience. The server said we don’t have any bread and I will fight to try and get you sides.

    Service was terrible, there were many people working but they weren’t attentive. Most of the meats were well done. When asked about medium he said he didn’t have that and promptly left the table. We were seated and I asked about the brunch that was on the website; waffles, omlets, etc. waiter had no clue and said, “I’m not sure about any of that, I don’t know if we have brunch, it’s a holiday so maybe just whatever comes out.” Later found out that others were seated, told to order waffles, omlets, etc from the server. Also offered upgraded meat options for an up charge. Ours didn’t know what was going on and was not familiar with the menu so he just picked them up before we could look at them, so we had no idea as to options. Waited over an hour to get buns (kept getting the excuse that the other servers kept beating them to them), had to ask for a new plate after salads and even when they were full of bones, and left over meat parts. The waiter then responded that not everyone wants a plate exchange, so that’s why we would have have to ask. I noticed other waiters preemptively offering new plates after every meat even. They asked if we would like any meats that haven’t come around, we told them, never came so we asked for the check after 3 requests. This was a $62.00 plate per person lunch without drinks. Terrible in all ways.

    It was hard to get anyones attention, noisy music, poor service, very disaappointing for the price point. Arrived on time and were made to wait to be seated tho the restaurant was only half full. We would not come back.

    Service could have been better very slow coming to our table. Even went around our table a few times and went to other tables. Didn't refill water had to ask after our glasses were empty never asked if we wanted more drinks after our drinks were gone. Once we let then know this was happening it was fixed quickly.

    We’re long time fans of Fogo. It was that special restaurant we made special trips to. We’ve been to MPLS, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, DC and Florida over the last 20+ years. Fogo has become something less than extraordinary since Rhône capital acquired the business in 2018. Their strategy ‘unlocking value’ has diminished the experience. Fogo is now a watered-down version of what it used to be. Brazilian steak houses in the purest sense, don’t schlep ‘shrimp cocktails’ at the table side as an example. You can see all the places where Rhône leadership has sought to ‘unlock value’ which translates into lower staffing levels (Fogo use to be a spectacular show of staff, knowledgeable in their trade craft, gauchos knew the names of their cuts in the native Portuguese), watered down caprinha’s, the salad bar has a distinctive ‘let’s offer what we used to’ only lesser brands. And the meat, well they’re availing themselves of modern chemistry to tenderize and ‘get away with’ lesser quality, I can taste the difference. Fogo used to be over the top - top shelf everything, and it wasn’t cheap. Today, it’s just as expensive, if not more. You can definitely tell that the finance MBA’s and corporate chef’s are optimizing margins, A/B testing what they can get away with, and serving their investors with an attractive bottom line. It’s unfortunate that PE has ‘done its thing’ to something that was extraordinary. Bravo! Keep ‘unlocking that value’ Rhône.

    For diners --- the salad bar wasn't kept up with the food items - lots of options were not replenished in a timely manner. It also was a bit messy. The meats, although delicious, were often colder than what would be preferred. The staff are all very friendly and accomodating. Please note that when they come around to ask you if you'd like the shrimp cocktail that it's ala carte and will cost $$. I feel they should tell you that right away when they stop by your table instead of waiting for the diners to say yes and then let us know there is an extra charge. The amount of food you can have for the price is very good. For managers --- Would have liked to have the lighting a bit dimmer instead of feeling like you are eating in a cafeteria. Also, please keep the bathrooms clean!! My husband said the men's bathroom was filthy and the ladies room was as well with writing on the mirror. Aside from these issues, we enjoyed our time and the value of the amount of food you can have vs the price is really good.
