Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse - Miami Ratings and Reviews
The main reason for going to a rodizio, which is varied great beef, was disappointing, lamb ribs are great, but everything else was extremely salted, you must directly ask staff for the cut you want, there are never more than the two same cuts going around, the staff is very nice though. The market table buffet is still great, next time I go there I will probably just order the buffet and enjoy some salmon, serrano ham, and cheeses.
Absolutely delicious. All meat was always really hot when it came to the table. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed all of the lamb and the ribeye was great. The cold buffet table was great - had an awesome antipasto selection with prosuitto, salamis and an entire wheel of Parmesan cheese. My boyfriend had been here before and knew I would love it I would definitely go back!
Great place for the price!!! Good cuts of variety of meat, great service, beautiful location. They did not fix the price for special dates as new year eve or Christmas eve, as most of the restaurants. Then, you get what you spect. Wonderful place for meat lovers!!! My family wants to return sun.
Knowing the Brazilian food and same type restaurants, this one didn't offer the best quality meat I could have. It lacked one special item for a Brazilian "churrasco": the "molho a campanha", which is fundamental in many ways. The waiters took a long time to reach our table with the meat. I had to complain a couple of times before they became pouring down after all. But overall, everything was quite very good, not excellent (because the meat was not the very best I ever had), food was very good, good quality salads, the "pao de queijo" was delicious. Staff was very polite and friendly, eager to please. Very nice ambience and atmosphere.
It was phenomenal to dine here with our family for Christmas 🎄. Would definitely come here again. There is valet parking for easy access! The ambiance was very appealing, although there was a speaker system that was calling out numbers, which at times was annoying. Not sure what was the purpose of that.
Fogo in Miami was my third experience ,on Fogo Restaurants, but the most impressive was in Sao Paulo Brazil.I think is the best around the world.Picaña was the best met cut.
Ambient was very good to get a good conversation with family, specially my cousin Beatriz Parga well recognized writer and journalist on Miami Area and of course my wife Flor Morales.25 years since we meet last time with my Beatriz Cousin.
We had a Great Time !!!!!!
We will come back to Fogo Miami
This restaurant was amazing! We decided to have dinner here on Thanksgiving in order to make the meal special for us and our two kids being away from home on Thanksgiving. My kids who are usually picky to feed absolutely LOVED it. They tried all of the different meats that came around, loved the sides, and ate without me having to keep telling them to. They talk about this meal as the highlight of their trip to Miami and want to go back to a restaurant like this again. It is quite pricey ($300 for 4 people with only 2 alcoholic beverages total), but worth a splurge for a special occasion.
This is a great place to go when you have big groups... albeit you must tell them up front the checks will be split or you’ll do as we did— spend 30minutes figuring out the bill then making the server break up the tab. Service is as expected. Dim lighting. Noise level not too loud that large groups can’t hear themselves. Servers attentive to both sides of our long table- as to make sure we all were able to get the meats we desired. The bread was delicious. The ancillary food options were okay.... nothing memorable or worth a second trip to go to. Desserts yummy- had the flan. went when there was a sale for the dinner— not sure if it’s worth the full price value for just a family... but large work groups perfect, becuase you avoid the annoying wait times to get everyone’s meal ordered & served.
After a couple of weeks on the US, we were missing some Brazilian food, so we decided to have lunch at Fogo de Chao. We have been to some of their restaurants (chain) on the US, but that was the best. Great food, nice meats, very good service. In a matter of minutes, the waiters (gauchos) get to know your preferences, so they will bring you your favorite cuts, perfectly done.
Service was great. The only complaint is that the website informed that for Restaurant Week you could pay $39, but there was no disclaimer that it did not include all meats. When we arrived we were told that we couldn’t get any of the more popular options for that price. Then they didn’t allow a mixture at the table: if one person got the $39 option, everyone had to do so and sacrifice the more popular options. We wound up paying full price, which was fine, but it would have been great to know that upfront, as I ended up paying the difference for everyone else who was expecting to pay $39.
Knowing the type of restaurant and the location I was expecting a better product. They have a small selection on the salad bar. Some of the cuts os meats were chewy and of lesser quality than expected. Overall we were expecting a product a the level we've experienced at Texas the Brazil, but it was way below that. We will not return to this restaurant.
