   Worst place I’ve been to, and worst customer service ever we asked for churrasco table for $84 per person without drinks or tips, we made a reservation and waited to be seated after one hour of waiting at the door, After we are seated with serve our salad waiting for meat to come to our table with the stickers flip green that says we would like meat and they never came to our table ask if we like meat after 1 hour we reguest to speak to the manager, the manager wasn’t helpful at all and charged us $74 for the salad we didn’t even eat After one hour seating there no cocktails at all

   Food was very disappointing. Meat taste dry. The salad bar taste old like all the food have been sitting there for awhile. No disposable gloves were provided at the salad bar and seeing different hands using the same utensil to put food on their plate was so unsanitary! Price was ridiculously outrageous for such mediocre food and tasteless!

   After we were sat at our table we waited for 15 minutes before someone finally came to get our drink order and ask which meal option we wanted. The bacon on the bacon wrapped chicken was soft and soggy. The steak had a lot of fat. Three different times a server offered meats to the table right next to us abs then went to a different section of the room and never came to us. In the house that we were there we were only offered 4 cuts of meat. It was definitely not worth the $160 for two people. Worst Brazilian steakhouse experience we have ever had.

   One reason alone we would definitely come back here, the exceptional customer service provide by One L Michele. She took care of us, even though our server came to our table just once and didn't even speak a word or acknowledge us. However, Michele went above and beyond and made sure we experience the restaurant to its fullest.

   Worst service I’ve ever experienced tonight. Several people “regulars” greeted by hosts and servers. Table of 8 was served next to us a table of 2 and they came after us and left after us. I could not believe how we were ignored for at least two hours. Will not return to this location. Severs were also dry and flat.

   We have a friend visiting with us from Atlanta , she was bragging how well this restaurant is in Atlanta and wanted us to try it. We wanted to show her how beautiful downtown LA looks,, as well as enjoy some delicious food. The experience from checking in to being seated and receiving delicious food was outstanding. I will definitely be returning back again soon to dine with my family!

   There was a noticable sewage smell when we came in on Mon, May 16th 2022 and when I looked in the kitchen it was flooded and they had fans running to dry everything off. They should be ashamed they didn't shut down the restaurant for the night instead they kept it open and we really were annoyed by the horrible smell.

    The food was good. It was just the service that was horrible. My waiter took my drink order and I never saw her for the rest of the night. When I left, I saw my waiter sitting at the bar drinking. The only good service was the guy bringing us the meat.

    Underwhelming. The food was good but not worth the price. The service was slow and inattentive. For example, our ice cream was brought out and the waiter told us he had to get the topping. We waited for 5-7 mins and then just ate it. He showed up a few minutes later. Why even bring it out?

    I love Fogo! The quality of food is top notch! The service is unmatched. However, this dining room was beyond claustrophobic. The seating was horrible. I couldn't have a conversation without the person next to me listening. It was almost like one big family style meal. With covid it would be nice to put some space between parties.The wait staff barely had room to maneuver.

    I've been to the Beverly Hills and Irvine locations before, and to accommodate guests from LA and OC, I thought I would give the downtown Location a try. Worst idea ever! I brought my own wine, after asking 3 times, and almost an hr later, it got opened. Person we were celebrating asked for a beer refill twice, and it never came, other guests order cocktails that took nearly and hr to come, with the last one arriving at the same time I was handled the bill. Lastly, food we could really eat was what was at the buffet. They came around offering meats, maybe 3 times, we were a party of 14, so they would run out, and say they will come back with more, which never happened, u tile I requested to speak with the manager. They credit my bill $100, which doesn't save me the embarrassment I felt because of the horrible experience my guests had.

    Service at this location is always a bust especially when its a busy night. Once I saw that our table was in the far back of the restaurant, I braced for subpar service (on my birthday no less). And I was correct. The DTLA location always falters in service when compared to the Beverly Hills and Irvine location. We were served ONLY the same 2 cuts of meat for the first hour (skirt steak, and linguica). I had to say something for the staff to finally bring around other cuts, but even then, it wasnt the whole menu. Sure you could always put in an order with the wait staff, however flagging down a waiter was like looking for Waldo. In addition, it still took the wait staff around 15-20 mins to get our drinks after giving them to the waiter (after trying to flag down a waiter). The hostesses were not helpful nor were they welcoming of guests. We were treated like a mild annoyance. I get it, its a Friday night, but still. The two hostesses were not flooded with guests, and were just talking to each other, but looked irritated when we needed to check in for the reservation. Oh and this location DOES NOT have valet service either. And parking in DTLA isnt the easiest to find. So add an additional 15-20 mins to your arrival time to find parking. Service at this location has gone downhill quickly. I would recommend to make the extra drive to Beverly Hills or go down to Irvine.

    Lunch time crowd veryyyy empty! Food was good, great in fact! The market table is dangerous. I would have loved some support and guidance as to what types of meats pair well with the options on the market table. Additionally no labels on the market table had me running around and asking staff questions. Overall great experience but definitely feels like a dinner spot. Not a lunch place.

    We ordered the salmon- it took about 40 minutes and when it came it was dry and almost dehydrated so to speak. Ate at other locations and never had this issue. Super disappointed in the experience.

    I know it's one of the busiest days of the year but I just wish the service was better. The food was excellent and I have no complaints there. The only problem is the waitress or waiter never returned to take our drink order. I have to at least have one glass of wine with my meat. Sigh* by the time someone did come and asked if we were okay, we decided because of so much time passing, we should probably allow someone else at the table. Great food, but the overall experience not so much. Again, I get it.

    We had a reservation for 1:15pm and didn’t get seated until ONE FULL HOUR AFTER. Understand it was Mothers Day and waits are likely but this was unacceptable. Don’t tell me it’s 5 more minutes and it turns into a whole hour. Even worse, we never had one designated waiter and we didn’t get beverages to our table until the steaks had been passed around because I got up to ask for them. I went through 4 contacts. Same goes for the sides, I requested they’d be brought out after the food had arrived. It was poor hospitality and service all around.

    Pros:: - Food was tasty - Drinks were good Cons:: - Made a reservation for 6:45; we weren't seated until around 7:30. - This place is PACKED - and by packed, I mean there was literally no space to walk. The tables are so close together that the theme of the night was guests and servers stopping to let each other pass at every juncture. Why are the tables not more spaced apart, especially given the state of the world and with COVID numbers on the rise? - We all got the "all you can eat;" at first, the servers came around in a timely manner. But after about 40 minutes, they stop coming to your table altogether, probably as a way to cut costs and minimize how much you're actually eating. The server also becomes harder to track down...even if it's just to get the bill. Very disappointing. - A number of our party tested positive for COVID-19 a few days later. In retrospect, I'm not surprised - the meat on the skewers go from table to table and get placed right in front of you before they shave off some of it, which you then need to grab off with a pair of personal tongs. That's a lot of opportunities for someone to breath, sneeze, and clear their throats on your food before it gets on your plate. Add that to my previous point, and may the odds be ever in your favor. Bottom line: I booked this restaurant because I had heard good things about the restaurant chain's food and because of the availability of reservation times, but you cannot tell from the pictures that you'd end up waiting almost an hour past your reservation time, be packed like sardines, and walk out of there with some new illness. Please consider booking your meal elsewhere, or at least a different location.

    We were shocked when we received the bill and saw we were charged for the shrimp cocktails that the server was walking around offering. How were we supposed to know they were an additional charge? There was no mention of that. We spoke to the manager and he took one of the shrimp cocktails off our bill, but we felt the miscommunication was restaurant/server error. Besides, it was extremely overpriced for what you got. If you decide to go, when they come to your table make sure to ask if what they’re offering is included or you’ll be getting a heart attack along with your bill. Really ruined the experience for us.
